The Imperial Coroner is quite a bit lighter, lower budget, less political and more comedic but i couldn't help but think of it while watching Secret of Three Kingdoms.

- Fun-loving and clever FLs (FL in TRoTaR is more of the typical cutesy type)

- Gender Role Reversal themes (in BK it's more focused on the couple while in TRoTaR it's more focused on the world).
