To Watch Next
Just a list helping me keep better track of the older dramas from my giant PTW list that are next in line for me/ i plan to watch. The order and titles of dramas can change depending on mood, tho.
I tend to always pick two dramas at once to watch. One main, one on the side to balance the other out. Aka, if i watch something heavy, i pick a light comedy/romcom. Or a slow-paced drama with a more action-y title. One with romance, one without etc.
-
1. Un Raggio di Sole al Giorno
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
- Newly released Drama of the healing, wholesome kind. Deals with a lot of mental illness etc, non-romance. Just throw it on here bc otherwise i forget about it in my gigantic PTW list lol.
- OTT: Netflix (original)
-
2. The Master's Sun
Korean Drama - 2013, 17 episodes
- Veeeery ooooold, but it has been name-dropped so much in the viki comments while watching About Time that i am curious about the leads' dynamic now. It can only be a better drama than the other one, lol. Plus supernatural plotlines with ghosts and such are right up my alley.
- OTT: Viki/Netflix
-
3. Hospital Playlist
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
- Slice of life drama, romance. Friendship. Medical-themed, which is not my fave but highly regarded by people. Sloooooow pace and long episodes (90 minutes) Needs a certain mood to watch.
- Streaming Service: Netflix
-
4. Missing: The Other Side
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
- First of two seasons. From what i gathered it should be right up my alley with its supernatural, emotional stories and likeable characters. But it also seems heavy, dealing a lot with death and afterlife. Best picked alongside a comedy or similar.
- Streaming Service: Netflix and Viki
-
5. It's Okay, That's Love
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
- Healing/Psychological drama about mental illness. Good romance from what i heard, bit of a tearjerker. Oldie but goldie (2014)
- Streaming: Viki
-
6. Oh My Baby
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
- Feels like a more mature romance with ppl in their late 30' Kinda interesting.
-
7. Let's Start the Argument
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
- Put it on hold during the law drama craze of 2022(tm) and i was tired(tm) of the genre. Still interesting now where i had some distance from the genre.
- OTT: Disney+ which means pirate life for me.
-
8. Reunited Worlds
Korean Drama - 2017, 40 episodes
-
9. Chocolate
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
- Tearjerker a la If You Wish Upon Me before IYWUM was even a thing. Also hospice setting, slow pace, saaaaaaaad but warm feelings and happy ending. Good watch when i need a cry hehe.
- Streaming: Netflix
-
10. Dinner Mate
Korean Drama - 2020, 32 episodes
-
11. Postnatal Care Center
Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
- Something short (8 eps) female centric story with some romance.
- OTT: Netflix/Viki (i think)
-
12. Terius Behind Me
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
- Agent/Spy/Action romcom, i guess? Sounds interesting.
- OTT: Viki
-
13. Pinocchio
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes
- Another Oldie (2014) Not the biggest LJS fan either (mildly put), but i think it will fill any romcom needs decently enough. I think it has a thriller-esque subplot tho. Curious about it since i like the setting, but also 20 eps seems too much for it. Ah well.
- Streaming Service: Viki/Netflix
-
14. Only One Person
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
- Tearjerker, slow melo. So best picked with something more faster paced. Synopsis makes it sound like a sad ending but i checked and thankfully it is not, lol.
- OTT: VIKI
-
15. The Uncanny Counter
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
- Supernatural/hero fantasy drama. Action-y. Ensemble cast, funny (?). Good pick along something more slower paced, character-focused.
- Streaming Service: Netflix
-
16. Pegasus Market
Korean Drama - 2019, 12 episodes
-
17. Emergency Couple
Korean Drama - 2014, 21 episodes
- Enemies To Lovers and Exes To Lovers Trope. Old drama (2014). Medical themed. Curious but also skeptical due to its age. Never vibed with dramas prior to 2015 thus far. Maybe a good watch for something more slow paced as i expect it to be more chaotic/funny.
- Streaming Service: Viki
-

Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
-

- On Hold for the moment. Could not get into it thus far.
-
24. Il mio strano eroe

Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
-
29. Tunnel
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
- Time travel thriller, murder all the shebang. Love the concept and is highly regarded. Good choice if i need a break from romance dramas.
-
30. One the Woman
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
- Quirky grey-morale oddball FL in a mystery comedy mix with some romance. Seems like the odd one out drama not many people watched, plot sounds amusingly different tho. Fake it till you make it like haha. Definitely interested in a watch very soon kinda way.
- Streaming: Netflix/Viki
- Started strong but then was beginning to bore me, so i lost momentum with it. Hence it is placed on hold for now.
-
31. The Glory
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
- + Part 2, I guess. Very dark, violent revenge drama. Bullying, graphic, heavy. 8 episodes. Highly rated, which does mean absolutely NOTHING, since i tend to HATE/be bored by most high-rated dramas here on MDL, but yeah xD

Korean Drama - 2018, 10 episodes
-
51. Jealousy Incarnate
Korean Drama - 2016, 24 episodes
- Why are there so many episodes for a mere romcom? I knoooow it is gonna drag due to that and that keeps me from watching. Oh well. Romcom with full fledged love triangle, so needs a certain mood and a lot of stamina to watch. Still interested in seeing what it is about tho.
- Streaming Service: Netflix (under alternate name) Viki
-
52. Backstreet Rookie
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
- Definitely a filler drama of sorts, despite Ji Chan Wook. Light, comedy, bit of romance.
- Streaming Service: Netflix/Viki
-
53. 20th Century Boy and Girl
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
- Same writer like the excellent May I Help You, so i am quite curious about the drama. Light, positive, romance.

- Streaming Service: Viki/Netflix
-
55. Feel Good To Die
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
-
56. The School Nurse Files
Korean Drama - 2020, 6 episodes
- It is utter nonsense, but it knows it is and runs with it. I can respect that a lot, lol. It also has just 6 eps, so it is a good watch as filler whenever.
- On Hold atm. Watched: 1 1/2/6 eps
- Streaming Service: Netflix
-
57. Dress Sleeved Red
Korean Drama - 2021, 17 episodes
-
58. Jugglers
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
- Your standard Dickward CEO and meek secretary romcom i guess. Nothing special here, but good when i need a light, no-brain filler drama. Very low priority tho.
- No Streaming Service available for it either for me. So it will enjoy a life down in the list for now lol.
-
59. He is Psychometric
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
- Thriller/Romance/Mystery/Fantasy mesh up with quite a few heavy elements according to reviews. Really interesting concept tho, so i am curious about this drama nonetheless. Pick along something light. Two attempts to get into it have already failed, but i give it another, final one soon when mood strikes.
- Streaming Service: Viki
- On Hold atm. Watched 7/16
