Actor Byeon Woo Seok has taken a firm stance by filing complaints over acts of defamation, sexual harassment, and the spread of false information, stating that there will be no settlements or leniency.
On November 15, Byeon Woo Seok's agency, VARO Entertainment, released an official statement stating they will take legal action to protect the rights and interests of the actor.

We would like to express our gratitude to the fans who love and support actor Byeon Woo Seok.Recently, VARO Entertainment determined that we could no longer overlook malicious slander, insults, and other acts against our actor Byeon Woo Seok, and thus, we have proceeded with legal action to protect his rights and interests. We would like to inform you of the progress regarding this matter.
Based on our monitoring and reports from fans, we have identified malicious criminal acts targeting our affiliated actor. Accordingly, we have collected sufficient evidence, such as malicious posts and comments containing slander, defamation, insults, sexual harassment, and the dissemination of false information. We have submitted complaints against the individuals involved, following a legal review by a law firm.
Posting malicious slander, insults, and unfounded false information in posts and comments constitutes a clear criminal act and is subject to legal action. We will not overlook such criminal behavior and will respond firmly to ensure that appropriate punishment is given without any settlements or leniency.
VARO Entertainment will continue to monitor and take legal action against malicious criminal acts targeting our actor. We reaffirm our commitment to doing our utmost to protect our affiliated actor's rights, interests, and reputation.
