- Pretend relationship
- Charismatic male lead
- Kim Jae Wook is the male lead in both dramas

These two dramas have in common is that the male leads are both top math instructors at an academy. The difference is, in Crazy Love, the male actor is involved with his secretary, while in Crash Course in Romance, the male actor is involved with one of his students' parents.

Hatred to love relationship with two people who are very different.
Both have an office romance between a male boss and a female secretary.
Both male leads have terrible traumatic childhoods and no remaining blood relatives + an ex-girlfriend which is still in love with them (while they aren't).

Both deal with a female lead which inner and outer personality are different (as they put up with a lot of crap and try not to react to it in a savage way). Both females have only one remaining parent and one annoying younger brother.

Both have office politics.. and crazy inner networks.. backstabbing..etc.
Raccomandato da Loving_Roots
Employee & Employer relationship.
Both have kinda similar plot - someone commit self harm and MLs are misunderstood as the cause which is not true.
Both dramas have generous amount of comedy and romance too.
Raccomandato da Choco_chip
Lighthearted romcoms (for the most part) about narcissistic bosses who end up falling in love with their enduring secretaries.
Both have a lot of similarities in terms of the dynamics between the couple and just the overall feeling.

The boss in this drama is also very uncaring and awful who drives his assistant insane. No Go Jin is the most popular mathematics instructor in the private education field and the CEO of GOTOP Education. Even though he has only a high school level education, he has achieved all of his success due to his extreme intelligence. He seems like a perfect man with a handsome appearance, high IQ, and wealth. He is also narcissistic. One day, he is suddenly warned that he will be murdered.
Lee Shin A works as No Go Jin’s secretary. She is a diligent and responsible employee. Due to her quiet and introverted personality, she has little presence with her boss No Go Jin and her colleagues at work. Her colleagues begin to recognize her, because she has worked for the notorious No Go Jin for more than 1 year. She then learns that she does not have much time left to live.

In both ML is an asshole to FL and everybody around them because they got done dirty by their exes

Both couples are probably into BDSM

Both are satirical works of the romcom genre and subverts a lot of cliche tropes. Main couples REALLY do hate each other at first before gradually falling in love. There's also a mystery of who attempted to kill the ML in both plots. Both use dark humor and exaggerated acting to make fun of the genre.

If you're looking for pure romance, these dramas are not for you. They're not Nevertheless or Love Alarm with their melodramatic romances. But if you are patient and have a realistic expectation of romantic relationships, then they both deliver. Couples all have great chemistry. Even if you're a fan of pure romances, you will be throughout entertained by both dramas; I was laughing at everything.

Both are also underrated compared to some of the more overhyped shows on this website and are victims of people don't understand what satire is. Crazy Love had the amnesia/fake fiance trope in its summary and people just assumed it would be cheesy like that instead of giving it a chance while I Picked Up a Star on the Road was similarly a victim of assumption and people who canceled it for its kidnapping plot. If you actually give them a try, they will surprise you, in a good way.

the vibe and the comedy are really alike. both have that "unexpected" pairing and unlike the usual cold ml/nice fl, these are well balanced, crazy ml/crazy fl and the gen z fls that won't back down to the ml
