Both BL dramas partially take place in the underworld and one of the main characters is a power bottom.
Both focus on very similar plots such as on a gangster and a “good guy” Trapped being a police officer and Kiseki being a Doctor, with enemies to lovers romance. They are both Taiwanese BL series and both have very similar themes and genres,
Both have a student and a mafia member falling for each other. (In My Dear Gangster it is a university student and in Kiseki it is a highschool student.)
The mafia members want to leave their groups and live a regular life with their love interests.
While there is some drama in both, My Dear Gangster Oppa is lighter in tone than Kiseki Dear To Me.
Kiseki was consistantly great while My Dear Gangster was fun through Ep 5 (out of 8), then it fell apart. My recommendation for My Dear Gangster is to watch Ep 1-4 then treat Ep 5 as a fluffy epilogue and stop at 38min.

although there is no element of kidnapping, but the form of the story of hiding and working for a mafia is the main story of both series. In addition, the two main characters have different wealth where one is poor and the other is rich. Scenes of shooting, chasing, drugs, and mafia are the main stories of this series.
Both uses age gap plot where younger ML is the dominant (seme) and greenest flag of all character.
Older ML doesn't move the story forward as much as the younger ML.
Older ML have a tendency to behave like an airhead that causes intimacy scenes/misunderstandings
Younger ML is smart and very straightforward.
2nd coupling in both stories are very cute. And noisy hahahha
Difference is that Minato SCL is more draggy as the older ML is more wishy washy, and is pretty much Slice of life paced. Kiseki is much quicker paced and action packed due to the premise of mafia background/involvement.
Kiseki is a Taiwanese show, Minato is Japanese show.
Warning:
Both Younger MLs started as highschoolers in their final year. I know some people will squirm at this, so I am putting it out here first. Skip these 2, if you can't handle physical age discrepancy.
But, we do all know that maturity isn't linear with age right? Both younger MLs here have greater maturity than most of the characters in the show, and have already been living an unsheltered life, independent from their parents for a while before meeting the older ML who at no point in the show intentionally manipulated the younger MLs (in terms of romance).
