I was really confused by the reviewer who said the two leads didn't have chemistry. The scenes between them were hot! My love for Ji Sung has only gotten stronger. I know he's married, but let's be realistic, we were probably never going to hook up even if he was single. Okay, I've gotten off topic...
The music was great and the story was solid. One thing I loved was the little touched of comedy. I probably won't rewatch the jail episodes, but I'll revisit this series at some point. I found the first few episodes a little slow and Min Hyuk a little hard to deal with at first, which is why this doesn't get a perfect score.

Loved the concept of arrow being the main weapon within the film (a first for me to see) and sorta reminded me 'House of flying Daggers'.
Sad to see the ending but truly went down magnificently with that sweet curl. And most of all i loved that the female roll always stood up and fought instead of expecting to be saved and protected like other films
ACTING:
Cannot speak against any of the actors for their all potrayed their characters well

I really hesited to watch it because i'd really loved the original full house. But i directly like it ! The story is the same everywhere but in this drama i thanks is a little different ! I don't want to do a spoiler but the story and the friend's love between Tae Ik and Gang Whee ... or the story between Tae Ik and Full house ... or the story of Gang Whee.
I really loved the music and mostly "baby cry" the last song of Gang Whee
At the begining i just watch this frama because i loved the fisrt full house and i wanted to watch the acting og Park Ki Woong (Gang Whee) because i saw him in secretly greetly and he touch me !!

1. Enrique Geum. He was really funny, sweet, and perfect! You'll really enjoy his carefree personality.
2. None of Go Dok Mi's heart's contenders were arrogant jerks, as you usually see in dramas.
3. The secondary characters like Watanabe, the girl with the under eye bags, Dong Hoon, etc. They're all really unique and so funny. There was also a secondary couple that I really liked. Don't want to spoil it, but I'll just say it involved Dong Hoon.
4. The hilarious scenes. I've never laughed out loud so much for a drama! You've got falsetto battles, "mafia" scenes, really bad spanish accents, etc.
5. The OST was perfect. It had J Rabbit, one of my favorite singers, and so many cute songs. Plus, the sound effects were really good!
And here is why you might doubt watching it:
1. Go Dok Mi. She was okay for the first few episodes, but then she began to get annoying. She was a Mary Sue: a character that's a perfect flower that bends with the wind, and that does no harm, but is attacked by everyone. I only really liked Dok Mi in the last episode.
2. The unnecessary, annoying drama that begun around episode 9 (I think). I wish the plot could've developed better, because it started out SO good. Those episodes made me feel as if the writers were dragging out this drama too much.
The wonderful last episode and the pros of this drama are what made me give it a 10. If you want to watch FBND, don't begin with such high expectations, that's my only advice :)

The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry

As a European, single, career woman in my 30's I have come to expect certain things from my life and people around me.
1. Respect from colleagues for all the hard work I put in
2. Understanding that the hard work has left little room for dating
3. Evenings spent watching dramas because of the aforementioned hard work and singlehood
I started watching "The woman who still wants to marry" because I heard it was going to feature single career women in their 30's and noona-love...
Finally!, I thought. Women I can relate to.
And who doesn't like the added bonus of bit of escapism, in the form of gorgeous young men falling for older women? Yum!
Boy, was I in for a rude awakening.
I'm not oblivious to the fact that, in Korea and Japan, unmarried women over the age of 25 are considered "Christmas Cake". Something that goes bad after the 25th. (Horrible expression btw. Just horrible!)
The previous noona-love dramas I've seen have mostly focused on the woman's inner struggle. Angst and denial of her unsuitable feelings, and so on.
She may have gotten sideways glances while flaunting her young lover publically. But that's about it.
Never mind that this would never happen in real life. Drama magic and suspension of disbelief achieved. Squeee!
In "The woman who still wants to marry", however, our two noonas are bombarded by hair-raising amounts of malicious gossip, disapproving parents and disrespectful colleagues.
The amount of shit that these poor women have to put up with is really disheartening.
If this piece of drama fiction is any reflection on how smart and driven women are treated in Korea... then I have found a whole new level of understanding for all those older and successful über-bitches we tend to see as villains in dramas. No wonder they'd eventually become cold as ice - if this is how they've been treated since their 30's.
While the romance is a big part of this drama. (Two lovely noona-love stories, no less.) The adversities these women face, simply because of their age and ambition, leave such a bitter after taste that it many times overshadows the sweetness of the romance.
I would ask someone who is considering watching this these 3 questions:
1. Are you under 30?
2. Is seeing Kim Bum fall in love pretty much your sole motivation for watching?
3. Do you normally not have problems suspending disbelief when it comes to ill treatment of women?
If your answer to the above questions is a resounding "Yes", then you'll probably enjoy this drama.
If your answer is "No", then you may want to look elsewhere for your escapist drama fix... or at least watch with an awareness of these issues.
I don't regret watching this drama. If for nothing else; Kim Bum pulls off one of the best "grand gesture"-scenes in recent memory. I finally get why women swoon over him now. I do.
It does make me sad though - to think that there are places in the world where it doesn't matter how hard you work to prove yourself. If you are a woman and over 30; you are supposed... no, demanded!... to give up your job and become a stay at home mom. Whether that life appeals, fulfills or excites you in the slightest. That's your duty.
Even if you marry Kim Bum - it would be nice to know you have a choice. Right?

The story. A very interesting and confusing I would say. Writers did a good job at hiding and mixing reality with guessings. The thing I really liked was that story wasn't clear and to understand it you have to watch till the end.
Acting. I can't say anything bad about it, because in my opinion all of them did a great job. Their acting was realistic and without any noticeable errors.
Music. It was appropriate and matched the scenes pretty well.
Overall, though it wasn't that scary, but it did have some creepy scenes. So if you are looking for some delicate horror then this movie is for you. Try it!

Quite confused why this drama has more low scores than high for i actually liked it. Yes i am disappointed that she lost her quirkiness once he fell for her but you quickly forget and still smile with them.
The brother had me worried with his feelings but thankfully they did not have him acting upon them again. The aunt was at times too noisy and just a hater and the fact she befriends the one that took her man still has me questioning the relevance within the show. Literally just concetrate on the main 2 characters because the other supporting actor's relevance is not important and just makes the show longer for no reason
ACTING:
They was not outstanding acting but they did their job

So, yes. Initially, I watched it because I wanted to fangirl over the person I'd fallen in love with in Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Although, my reasons were a bit shallow for watching the movie, I actually ended up really liking it. The movie itself isn't what I'd call flashy or thrilling but it was slightly quirky and really silly at times. As I got further into the movie, I kept seeing parallels to the American movie, Little Miss Sunshine. So, if you liked Little Miss Sunshine, there's a possibility that you just might like this movie.
Now, I'm not going to pretend that this movie was the best thing that I've ever seen because it wasn't but it was very entertaining and was a nice movie about family. So, if you're in the mood for a non-intense movie that will make you laugh at times then I recommend that you go ahead and give it a try. :) It's a quirky movie about a quirky family, what's there not to love about it?
