Story-wise is good as it's not typical of cdrama w/ plot "twin sister" which ML doesn't even know at first. This is an exception bcs ML brings that girl himself and introduces her into the family (in order to take revenge). The fight scenes are also great, there are many ups and downs that make you sometimes feeling butterfly in your stomach and sometimes can't hold your tears. Few scenes are repetitive indeed, but I just let it slide as long as it's still related to the main story.
The plot's really intriguing. Both main leads protrayed their roles very well (especially ML). I wanna give standing ovation to ML bcs he's very versatile, he can be like a psycho/lethal, on the other hand clingy, sweet, and depressed.
There were many negative comments abt FL's acting, well I bet you'd be trembling if you were in her shoes, right?? with many eyes watching on you and ready to eat you alive. Hence I think shes good at expressing her emotion. She gradually has character development onwards.
After all, they make a great couple! smart bf x smart gf.
Let alone, there were a bunch of steamy kisses<3
oh ya the SFL keeps chasing after ML, but no worries, he has no interest upon her at all and is not being a villain at the rest of eps.
The osts fit the scenes, & easy listening!

Something new u might like <3

I eventually decided to give it a try because I like Aaron in 'professional single' hence I wanna see more of his project! I have watched up to eps 24, and surprisingly enjoyed it (even though it's quite angst hiks)! At first, it was a bit awkward indeed, but hey! It's not that bad as others said though! Its storyline is basically about a domineering CEO who has a strange superpower that allows him to control others, besides reading someone's mind. However, he couldn't use his power upon FL. The 'CEO' stuff is not only a title or cover, but they genuinely implied basic business such as strategy marketing, how to maintain a good price to compete with other brands, etc.
FL herself is a bold, stylish (her fashion lure my eyes ngl) as well as tough woman. FYI, ML and FL were high school mates. They're best friends, moreover, ML had a crush on her back then. Due to one misunderstanding, FL cut ties with ML. Time skip, they encounter each other once again. They keep bickering yet I see he still deeply in love with her.
Aside from that, this drama is even funnier than I imagined, let alone side characters lmao!! I like the bromance thing between ML and his bestie (the doctor) as he's so hilarious :D
Lastly, don't think so highly about cdramas, just let it flow, then you'll find your own peace. If it's not here, find your kind of comfort dramas out there without messing up in the comment section. Luv! <3 *purple heart*

No need sugar cause it has been sweet!

I didn't want to write a review in the first place, but then again, I got annoyed by negative review about this short drama hence I must write a good one (since I like it, and yeah people may have another POV). Alright, let's get started!!
I repeatedly saw this poster on wetv and yet I thought it wasn't my taste. I honestly prefer cdramas with long duration so that I could watch more fluffy scenes. Long story short, I eventually gave it a try, AND I LIKE IT! it's cliché indeed (you know there were a bunch of dramas out there so it's ok if one drama a bit similar to another drama). I don't mind if it has short duration as it would get straight to the point. BOTH MAIN LEADS DID THEIR ACTING WELL!! (they're good looking as well, not to mention FL kinda looks like japanese girl OMG I ADORE HER FACE)
the ML is clingy while FL is a cheerful girl. There is one love triangle but no problem, the ML doesn't put much attention upon SFL. AND YOU GUYS SHOULD KNOW THAT THIS DRAMA IS REAALLY FUNNY NGL? OUR SML also saves this storyline.
there's no harm on giving it a shot! since it has a pretty light story, 2-3mins each eps, and not that bad as others said though! *spread luv not hate*

MY KIND OF HIDDEN GEM <3

there were a huge number of reviews about this drama already, and yet i still wanna write one bcs i love it hehe! first of all....WHY DID I JUST FIND SUCH HIDDEN GEM DRAMA 5 YEARS LATE FOR GOD SAKE?!?! it has a light storyline, 16 eps with about 30 mins each, quite fast paced, bold fl stubborn ml (but he seems to have feelings for her from beginning), i love the way ml jealous over fl's male friends and otherwise, besides he clearly rejects sfl who chases after him at all costs. LET ALONE HES VERY CLINGY TOWARDS FL GOSH I'M ABOUT TO HAVE DIABETES IN NO TIME HAHAHAAH VERY VERY FLUFFY!
the most important component in romantic dramas aside from storyline, casts, acting etc, that is KISSING SCENE. yep i'm the type of person who likes steamy kisses! (or at least PROPER KISSES not like a dead fish) and they did perfectly!! lemme give u a sneak peak, patiently waiting for ep 13 hehe! borahae <3

meaningful, funny as well as sweet

I just binge watching this drama! *finally* and i'd like to say it again that it ain't one of those bad dramas after all. Actually i kept refusing to give it a shot since it has many eps for me, an easily bored person. However.. i couldn't resist song wei long's charm esp in this drama.
Hence, i reconsidered it again and eventually fall for it.
My summary was : i love both main lead (as i initially watched it for song wei long) and side lead cp (he chan yang x chai minmin). They literally stole the show from the beginning by showing their ridiculous acts HAHA (It's pretty rare for me as i never skipped their scene like i did in many dramas beforehand). All of them were bonding well. For the storyline itself, i didn't mind at all cuz i saw from her pov (FL) as a 30s woman. Perhaps for sum ppl, she might be a bit immature, but it's a common problem, isn't it? she doubted him at first since their age gap was quite aloof. As time went by, she reflected on her fault and so did he.
Thank God, the ML still sincerely love her, always got her back and remain being a positive person (even tho sometimes he seemingly couldn't endure the current situation).
last but not least, don't be bothered upon negativity in the comment section. i regret myself by believing it back then. if u can't bear with main leads cp, see the side lead cp instead HAHA

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

i was late indeed, but lemme tell you how i experienced an upside down feelings while watching this drama.
1. i wasn't into colossal cdrama beforehand (let alone angst drama), basically i love light modern drama w full of fluffiness. YET THIS ONE IS DIFF. idk i determined to binge watching it and eventually couldn't stop myself.:)))
2. i kept thinking that this drama has many eps hence i was afraid to give it a shot at first. turned out it's really worth my time.
3. why did i love it? simple, i like seeing strong FL (as she could stand by herself, defend her principle as well as the one that she loves. the ML was also great, he would protect FL at all costs and otherwise. their chemistry, its ost, and those support roles were very funny. they successfully intertwine to its storyline. (sometimes i laugh, sometimes i cry) *sobs
4. u should watch it! i assure u won't regret!

let's fly high and fall-

story wise, i like it so much where the male lead only has eyes for female lead. he chases her from the very beginning, so the plot is quite fast (later will be explained how he knew her in the past). on the other hand, shes not pushing him too hard, she cares with him.
besides, there are sooooo many steamy kisses!! aargh i love it? the charm of ML and the beauty of FL really spoil me, their acting's very well. FL not the type of weak girl whom snaky girl can mess with.
I'd give it 9.5/10 up to eps 20 or 21 . i suggest u not to watch until the ending bcs its terrible to the point that i give it 0/10. ?‍♀️
so for me personally, i'll rewatch again in the future bcs their chemistry's so damn good. but will stop around eps 20 hhhh. overall for short length story, its worth watching!

HIGHLY WORTH WATCHING!

one of my top cdrama i've ever seen! i love its storyline, love hate since childhood until adult and the ML really loves his girl. he's wayy too sweet as a man being, it made me crush on him to the bone? both ML and FL have good chemistry, ofc they're good kisser as well. they also funny i can't help myself laugh at their silliness? the 2nd couple ain't bad at all however i just focus on the 1st one hehe. furthermore, i love its OST!! it suits this drama so much!
the FL isn't the type of weak girl. i adore her because she's bold, beautiful, funny, smart and independent but tends to be slightly stubborn. she has a weird allergy which make her can't shed tears, otherwise she must've fainted. there's also 1 man who loves her, he's being her mentor in the first place yet the FL doesn't love him. i'm grateful cause i could see the ML being jealous of them and confess his feelings towards her eventually?

Hidden gem!?

First of all, i'd say its a very good story!
I initially thought it was abt mermaid hence I always skipped it. Turns out not at all!? the plot is very fast w duration around 30mins each ep. It tells about a former lover in high school reunites again after 8yrs and now ML becomes a doctor while FL becomes a popular cartoonist? At first FL still hesitates upon her feelings towards ML, but ML remains persistent to be on her side, and support one another. The misunderstanding isn't draggy, they clear it asap. Let alone, the 2nd and 3rd couple are also interesting to watch! All couples are funny, I'm so done? I thought it would be angst, however I feel many butterflies in my stomach?
the kissing scenes are good! (yea thats important to me) and they already kissed in ep 5 xixi? not too long to wait for their dating (again) and become a cute couple? moreover, the wedding scene is the kind of unique one!
Thus, I highly recommend u all to spend ur time w this drama!!!

plain story~

i initially expect too high abt this drama.. unfortunately, i felt there's a plot hole in the middle until last part of it. pull and push scenes were too much and i dont think both FL and ML feel at ease w the skinships.
the story's very plain as it mainly tells FL's fear of her future ahead (in major she chose) aka not that complicated.
to be fair, i enjoy 1st few eps bcs its funny and i thought i would like it due to ML character (cool, kinda possessive, smart, good swimmer). i bear myself to binge watch it while waiting for their moments as a cp. oh my.... the kissing scenes were fish kisses (mostly FL opened her eyes wide during kissing scene) and reaaallly short to the point that i couldn't immerse in their feelings. just like the ost tho.
overall, 7.5/10 is a very nice of me to score this.

hyper girlfriend, calm boyfriend. love it sm!

I just found out luo zheng took part in this drama as main role OMG?? Always saw him as support role in other dramas such as girlfriend and poisoned love, even so i prefer him with long screen time! Here it is, MAKE MY HEART SMILE as it really did. Romance comedy was well excecuted! this literally has a light storyline, contains a bunch of skinship, fluffy as well as hilarious moments haha! Main leads perfectly portrayed their roles, i could clearly distinguish twins FL, she truly is a bold and hard worker girl, she could make the atmosphere more lively in her way (though a lil bit childish but it's still bearable! As for the ML, he also did great, calm, smart-ass, lovely, clingy, and protected his woman at all costs. OMG where can i find a man like him:( Actually i didn't wanna make a review yet seemingly i should! Don't mind all those hate comments, it's totally worth it i assure u!

it's something you won't regret!

since i'm running out of romantic chinese dramas atm, i gave it try and didn't expect that i would fall for sfl (veronica park's role) and sml.. unlike other romantic kdramas or cdramas where its sfl was potential to be third wheel (snaky gurl) or messed up w/ main lead's relationship, this cp being hilarious of all time even i couldn't help but laugh at them instead :D
on the other hand, i was rooting for main lead cp as well. their relationship might seem a bit complicated yet nevermind, as long as fl the one who acted those roles hehe.
》 sums up my review : it's a light pretty funny drama in which main lead cp + 2nd lead cp were filling one another. they're such complete packaging as u could find bromance and sismance at the same time ahaha! just one thing that annoyed me, they seemingly rushed over the last epi though it was happy ending after all however i wasn't able to see veronica park's wedding *sobs

could've been more than this

Honestly.. im not that kinda ppl whos into thriller, mystery, and such. i prefer romance dramas w/ fluffy scenes,clingy boyfie etc.. but sometimes i wanna make myself suffer from sadness! therefore i gave it a try :D
imho, it wasn't bad after all as i could feel their emotions..yet somehow i'd rather the teenage part than the adult part. teenage main leads genuinely dive into their own character, let alone the crime that took place 12 years ago was more hurtful as well as shiver me up. this drama has fewer romantic moments indeed, i could understand it. as for the massacre scenes in the present, it should've been way more sadistic for me lol

Fresh but not worth rewatching

first of all, i'd like to appreciate both FL and ML who succeeded making me laugh, mad, and even grumble at their acting. tbh, I love FL's role, she's quite bold, stubborn, and won't beg for man's love like the 2nd FL did. I mean that 2nd FL (his ex) truly is annoying. She left him with no words to go abroad when he loves her so much. and when the ML had fallen for FL, she wanted to get him back. sticking around him everywhere and everytime. MOREOVER, HE INITIALLY GOT ANNOYED BY HER BUT HE LET HER TOUCH HIM EVENTUALLY. idk whether it's his strategy to make FL jealous or else, he seems like a plin plan person and have no courage to confess his love towards her. That's why i prefer her with 2nd ML bcs they are sincere wholeheartedly. Tbh i'm looking forward to their kisses yet don't expect too much

Worth watching!!

this is my fav colossal drama after the legend of yun xi. The story line keeps moving forward and full of chemistry among role players. most average colossal dramas have more than 40 eps and it makes me bored atm yet this drama only has 27 eps including whole packages such as romance, humour, jealousy, quarrels, sorrow. Besides, the FL isn't weak at all! i love it tbh. she's bold, beautiful, funny, good at fighting and most importantly, she's SMART. the ML really loves her even tho he made mess with her at the beginning, he's a loyal person after all. i highly suggest you all watch it!
