I do have to say, that although this did fall a little short of my expectations, it was very cute and very fluffy, which is what i love most when watching bls. I was very surprised and actually a little angry when Choke said he was going to be Tor’s boyfriend and Sat was just like ??? me too kid. Like what was literally all of that and the kissing and stuff y’all did just tell him you were going to be someone’s boyfriend lol i guess it makes sense to the plot bc something had to make Sat upset enough to where he wished he could go back to being a kid, but I was hoping it would’ve been something different, but what i’m not sure. I really loved the use of english throughout these episodes and Choke’s whole monologue about how their lives are paralleled and whatnot i thought was done pretty well, and it being in english just gave it a different vibe, but not a bad one. I’m glad Sat was able to go back to being his 11 year old self and wishing for him and Choke to be together and stay friends, but again, not sure how comfortable i was with him immediately going back and like kissing Choke lol it was very cute tho to say the least, And the ending was just so cute and fluffy i really enjoyed it!
I think the concept behind this story was very interesting, it had the whole 13 going on 30 vibe but make it bl version. However, I would have liked to have seen them be maybe a bit older than 11? I thought it was just a tad uncomfortable when they’re in bed together cuddling because it’s storming outside and Sat is afraid of lightning, it started off cute but then took a bit of a sexual turn that I wasn’t too comfortable with. On one hand, they are both 18, but in the other hand Sat is literally his 11 year old self in his 18 years old self’s body. So not quite sure how I was supposed to take that scene lol I also really liked that their childhood, for the most part, was done in an anime style. I haven’t seen that in any bl i’ve seen so far so it really gave an interesting aspect to the story. it’s like there was a clear definition between what was like the current and the future if he got what he wished for. I kind of wish they would’ve kept the anime style throughout the whole time when they showed them as kids, but nonetheless i liked it.Also, not sure what was with them speaking english, and it was quite jarring at first when Sat spoke it bc i wasn’t expecting it but it was cute! and also added a different and refreshing aspect that you don’t normally see in bls
I loved every bit of this couple and their storyline. It was the most realistic one by far and it really weighed on all of your emotions. You can’t really blame Puth for not wanting the friends with benefits type of relationship anymore and it was nice seeing him explore the possibility of being with someone else, but you could tell he was very conflicted with ending things with kaeng. Kaeng as a character is what really got me though. You can see his obvious want to date puth and him changing and trying to be a person that puth would like and want to stay with as more than friends even if all that resulted was them sleeping together. You can really see his inner turmoil with not wanting to let puth go and wanting to be an actual couple. This episode definitely pulled me in and made me feel all of the emotions. I was crying because I was so heartbroken at how sad Kaeng was and him literally watching the person he’s in love with fall in love with someone else. I feel like I was on that emotionally journey with him. I was scared that he wasn’t going to get his happy ending but I’m glad Puth came around and realized he loved Kaeng too. This was truly a beautiful and heart wrenching story and I really enjoyed it. These will probably be the only 2 episodes out of this series that I would rewatch. The fact that it was only 2 episodes was surprising to me because it actually felt fine. It didn’t feel rushed, or forced at all. The way they went about unfolding and developing this relationship within 2 episodes was perfect. I have no issues at all. Great couple and great episodes.
I went into this episode with very high expectations given that it has the highest rating out of all of the episodes in this series, and boy was I not let down. First of all, the chemistry between these 2 actors are great and definitely the best. I have to admit I did like the friends with benefits trope bc I feel like it’s a trope we don’t see often especially with how realist it is. Friends with benefits never end well bc someone always ends up catching feelings and as much as you don’t want to like Kaeng, you really start to gain sympathy for him. First did an amazing job portraying Kaeng and his emotions and you can really start to see how this type of relationship can take a toll on one, if not both parties. This was very good.
This couple’s storyline was definitely the most interesting one. I wasn’t sure how their relationship was going to play out given Pao is a ghost, but I really liked the fact that they could be together in Thurs’ dreams but it definitely made me sad bc there’s no way they can actually be together. I wasn’t holding out much hope for Thurs getting a happy ending, but I’m pleased with the way that he did. 2 episodes was definitely not enough for this kind of storyline and left me feeling confused and still have quite a few questions left unanswered. I think this would do well as a mini series for sure! I enjoyed it quite a bit and found it very cute.
I’m gonna be honest, this was not off to a great start and I thought I would really dislike it. But, as the episode went on it actually wasn’t too bad and I think how they went about this ghost relationship was really interesting and something I haven’t seen before. The acting was pretty good and I actually ended up liking Thurs as a character a lot. They didn’t have the best chemistry I’ve ever seen but I think it came out well.
I did like the second episode a tad bit more than the first one. It was nice seeing the character development in Team and I think, given the time they had, it unfolded nicely. Mon’s character still not great at all. Idk why but everything that he did just irritated me and it was so cringey. Korn did a fine job given his role, but I feel Gung did much better. He seemed more natural I guess. Their storyline wasn’t awful but it wasn’t great either. It was fine but I don’t think I would ever rewatch this.
This episode wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. I don’t think they have good chemistry at all and I just hate how mon’s character is portrayed. he just seems a little too childish and shy. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a shy boy but this was just not a good way at doing it. It was to the point where I was getting irritated about how shy he was getting over literally everything. Team’s character was better in terms of the acting but it’s just so off putting how their relationship started out.
I liked their storyline quite a bit! I thought Nuea was a bit too much at first and that Sun was a little cringey but Max and Nat’s chemistry for this quick, 2 episode storyline is what makes it an easy and fun watch. There’s a little bit of angst but then they get their happy ending and I really like the contrast between their 2 characters. Definitely a cute and little fun episode.
Tbh after watching the first couple I wasn’t holding out much hope for this next one but I was really hoping it would be better considering it has max and nat. i like max and nat’s chemistry, and the first episode was okay. it wasn’t anything special, i think max’s character was a tad bit too cringey, but all in all you only get 2 episodes and i think they did a great job in this and the storyline is pretty realistic!
Seriously, what is this storyline? It’s the most messy and all over the place storyline i’ve ever watched. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt with only them getting 2 episodes to fit everything into it but come one, it could’ve been done way better than this. Everything about this was awkward, and weird and just plain cringey. No tea no shade to the actors, but literally what is this plot. i hated every second of both of these episodes.
I don’t really know what exactly I was expecting coming into this series, but it does not start off strong by far. There’s not really any background as to why they’re enemies (you’re not gonna sit here and tell me it’s just bc he cut him in line be fr). The way their relationship starts to unfold is just weird? The acting was very mid and tbh i liked kong more than i did the actual couple
