Hello!:D
I'm just your average avid watcher of BL and all good from the east.
It was a dark and stormy night, probably evening, when this little racoon grew bored of watching the same episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, over and over again. She knew it was time for something new. That's when she pressed the Netflix home button, and what was there at the top of the screen, eagerly waiting for her with a preview of what it kept inside, as it had done for weeks on end before? It was none other than the 10 episodes long series: Sweet Home! Starring Song Kang, Lee Do-Hyun, Lee Si-Young, Go Min-Si, and many more...
It took me a blast; I loved it, adored it, it broke my heart at times. But I wish I could say I fell in love with Kdrama immediately, I really do. But it was already the new year, before I really got into it. And now.... there is no escape.
I currently mostly watch BL's, from various different places, but as that is the motherland of BL, they're mostly from Thailand. At the moment, my top 5 favourites BL's are I Told Sunset About You (2020), Your Name Engraved Herein (2020), HIStory3: Make Our Days Count (2019), Gameboys (2020) and Great Men Academy (2019).
What I generally look for in dramas, is a good storyline and cinematography. I feel that a lot of shows, that could have gone through the roof in excellence, often refrain from doing so because they lack in the visuals department. That's why I appreciate a good picture because it can really affect the way a program or piece is perceived.
I just recently finished watching HIStory3: MODC literally just 2 hours before writing most of this paragraph, and am currently in the middle of crying my eyes out, because I also just finished watching I Promised You The Moon, so please, let me sob in peace.
Or message meplease do, Idk, do as you wish. Have a nice day:)
