Greetings my fellow Drama Addicts!
I've been a dedicated drama fan for about 10 years now. I watched hundreds of dramas and movies and I'm still in the process of updating my drama list. Right now it's about 60% complete.
About my drama tastes:
- I am a romance addict. And a picky one at that. But I do watch other genres (sometimes).
- I love old Jdramas (from the 90s and early 2000's).
- I prefer dramas with adult/mature relationships. If there's good kissing, that's a huge plus!
- I really don't like long dramas (over 16 episodes). I avoid them like the plague.
- When it comes to movies, romantic melodramas are my favorite.
- I wish other fans were more open-minded about trying different dramas and genres.
Also, I really like sharing the Asian Drama love. Writing about it, giving recommendations, reading other people's reviews, etc.
Let's be friends!
During my first years of drama addiction I really tried to "balance" my drama list so that I had the same number of Japanese, Korean and Chinese/HK/Taiwanese dramas and movies... but then I failed. As the years went by many of my main sources for dramas closed down and it became harder and harder to find older dramas, Japanese dramas and some underrated gems.
I also find most fans nowadays focus solely on Korean dramas. It's difficult to find other people with similar tastes.
