Whatch this if you need a pick me up!

Perfect, cute, little romance drama. No dragging, no misunderstandings, just love.
What really got me was that the lead woman wasn’t this timid, little woman that needs saving but actually a woman that takes care of herself and isn’t afraid to lead. I appreciated that she was the one who initiated the kissing scene, because I’m just so tired of women always being the shy ones.
And the fact that there wasn’t misunderstandings!!! I’m ready to marry the scriptwriter, because THNAK YOU!! As soon as I feel that there will be the miscommunication trope in a drama that I’m watching, I drop it immediately, because life is too short for that.
also the male lead knew his feelings, want afraid of them and went for it, I wish we all could do that in real life.

The amount of times I saw Jung So Min's hair extensions is unsettling

This drama gave me bigger trust issues than any man has given me. Yet. I enjoyed the direction the relationship between the main couple was headed, I had high hopes, also motivated by the plenty of good reviews that this drama had received. I've been an avid and loyal K-drama consumer in the past year, but I think this one broke me.
All was well in the world of the main lead until episode 13, when suddenly Nam Se Hee’s ex shows up as the CEO of an entertainment company and gives Yoon Ji Ho a solid job opportunity, not knowing about the connection all three of them have. AND IN COMES THE BIGGEST CLICHE I'VE EVER HAD TO ENDURE. Yoon Ji Ho figures out who this CEO is, and yes, it's understandable that it makes her upset, but instead of doing the reasonable adult thing you do in a confusing situation - talking, she just decides... to end their marriage. In the last three episodes of this show, Ji Ho announces that she and See Hee are getting a divorce while declaring to everyone how much she has fallen in love with him ( instead, of course, telling him directly), and I had to agree with the CEO/ See Hee's ex when she asked the reasonable question as to - why the fuck are you breaking up then? But the moment that made me want to punch a wall was the 'miscommunication trope' - Ji Hoo and See Hee sat down to talk, See Hee to confess to her, but of course, he doesn't do it, instead he lets her speak first and she drops the bomb, that she wants to break the marriage contract. AND I WAS SCREAMING!!! (internally, because it was 4 am and I have roommates). I hate this trope in general, I have an allergic reaction to it, but so far this was the most unbearable case I've witnessed. So they just... divorce because she thinks it's one-sided, though See Hee has been, in my opinion, pretty clear in his actions, that he likes her, especially the part where they slept in the same bed, hugged, and kissed, and he was looking at her with the most loving eyes anyone could ever do... But no....it's one-sided because Ji Hoo just likes to be the victim.
So she leaves, and See Hee sells his apartment, which was really important to him, it was pointed out many times in the series because he's so heartbroken by her leaving that he can't live there anymore. He's miserable. But then, after a few months, she shoves up, because she has decided that they should start again. He's understandably really angry at her, pointing out that he even sold his apartment, but as per usual, in total disregard for his feelings and emotions, she forces a hug on him, and then, after threatening to leave him again, they kiss. Fast forward a few years, they are happily, officially married, and I see how this was supposed to be a cute ending, but not for me. In the end, she gave me a narcissistic vibe, she got what she wanted by manipulating him. Her reasoning for breaking up with See Hee was that he didn't open up to her fast enough, and INSTEAD OF TALKING TO HIM, SOWING HIM THAT SHE'S A PERSON THAT HE CAN TRUST AND OPEN UP TO, SHE BREAKS UP WITH HIM TO MAKE HIM MAD AND CONFESS HIS FEELINGS WHILE BEING ANGRY.... As any reasonable, loving person would do... The part when he was angry at her, and told her that what she did was messed up, and she just smiled and said that he finally said what he felt, gave me goosebumps. This is what in real life would be considered a toxic, manipulating relationship....
This is why King The Land is the best K - drama because there's clear communication, and any potential conflict gets resolved by TALKING!!!
The only reason why I finished watching this drama was because of Woo Soo Ji and Ma Sang Goo's relationship, that was the green flag of its drama.

WATCH WITH CAUTION! MIGHT CAUSE SEVERE CUTE AGGRESSION ❗️❗️❗️

This extremely cute and equally unrealistic short series is made to be watched so you can forget about your own shitty or non existent love life.
The couple gets married on the second time of ever seeing each other and the guy isn’t a serial killer who collects women as wife’s and then killes them. No, here he’s the perfect man that falls in love after meeting her for the first time, treasures and takes care of her in the most beautiful way possible.
Every episode has some conflict that gets resolved in the same episode with… healthy communication… I know, unrealistic ? He even wants kids but only when she’s ready because he knows that it’s her body and she has the autonomy to decide when she’s ready…like..can you stop????
Everyone who’s love and touch deprived, watch with caution because this will only add to it. Saying that from my experience.

Thai meets Hunger Games meets The Divergent

This was so cute! The plot was simple and cute. It felt like The Hunger Games cute little sister, that’s more simple and adorable. It had cringy humor but I didn’t hate it, I was embracing it. The acting was awkward at time, but you could tell that the actors were trying.
I watched it in one sitting and it left me feeling excited. If you need a break from more serious dramas, this one is for you. I’m currently watching The Glory and I needed something the cleanse my soul a little bit, something predictable and cute and this was exactly what I needed.
Love it! ?

If Tim Burton's son was Korean and was trying his hand in movies

This drama felt different from all the countless others I've seen, and I liked that about it. This drama can't be put in one box, it felt refreshing. My weaknesses are stories about found families and this slapped my loneliness right in the face. Thanks for that.
If you're looking for something to quench your cravings for romance, this will not be it. Watching this you will see so much more than just blunt romance, instead, you'll be thrown into a story full of traumatized people finding healing and happiness with the help of people around them, with a subtle dark twist to it. All the characters were unique but relatable enough so that everyone could find themselves in at least one character.

Autism is a taboo topic anywhere in the world, but especially in the more socially conservative Asian countries, so to have a main character with autism spectrum disorder was what made me wanna watch it more. With Extraordinary Attorney Woo and now this, it makes me happy to see that being different is being normalized. <3 But the ending was a bit unrealistic when it comes to a person who is on a spectrum, especially on that level, but still, good for them for trying.

The main couple represented two traumatized people finding refuge in each other, helping one another to open up and see the world in more colors. It really shows how you can live all your life isolating yourself from others, thinking that you're stronger alone, but what makes us human is the need for others. We thrive in communities, no matter how small or big they are.

And I totally agree, after watching this drama I also wish I wasn't the oldest daughter, but had an older brother who could look after me.

I listened to all the reviews that said to skip from ep 10 straight to the ending and I won't miss anything. I did exactly that and I agree, I don't feel I missed any important details.

But having said that, this drama portrayed the slow and confusing process of falling in love. The fear of confessing your feelings and being rejected and the first time holding hands. The portrayal of all these experiences and feelings was so well done, that often I forgot to breathe. The honest and naive love that the ML had for the FL is something we all can dream about. But I did skip all the miscommunication and break-up drama that went on for 6 episodes because the last episode summarized everything and then ended on a good note.

Overall it's a must-watch for every K-drama lover and anyone interested in love because it should become the golden standard of how love and relationships should feel like.
