My favourite genres are wuxia/xianxia, fantasy, horror, and historical dramas. What I generally like most about shows is the costumes and the fighting choreography. Even if the plot is questionable, if it has those things then I'll love it. I also really like romance ♡ 

Other tropes/themes that I like are revenge stories, enemies to lovers, and also characters who are charismatic and righteouscx but bad things still happen to them (eg wei wuxian)
