Berlin was fine but the original one had that nonchalant relaxed air about him which in my opinion made him seem "psychopathic" and unpredictable, I don't think Park Haesoo's interpretation was bad but he just didn't seem as scary or imposing and honestly his acting felt a bit redundant since his character in Squid Game was really similar.
I like some of the characters' interactions better like Rio and Tokyo, I enjoyed seeing them together, same thing with Denver and Miseon I much prefer the slow burn here but overall I felt like the group's dynamic was off they just didn't have that feeling of unity and their dialogues and interactions sounded very unnatural and forced to me.
I don't have much to say about the plot I was honestly quite bored but I don't think the drama is fully to blame because one of the main appeals of La Casa de Papel was the fact that it had me at the edge of my seat, it was really gripping and I was dying to know what was going to happened and what the Professor had planned so obviously I couldn't have had the same experience with this, however I do think that the original felt a lot more "intense" here it fell flat for me sometimes and what were they thinking with the music choices or lack thereof? Good hard-hitting music could've easily made many scenes much more impactful pleaaase fix this in the second part
I still think it still has the potential to blow me away but everyone who's working on this drama needs to step up their game for the next 6 episodes.

Thankfully the drama eventually takes a turn and becomes less stagnant when our prosecutor starts accepting reality and using his brain to try and figure out what happened the night his wife died. I think from this point on things become way more compelling and the characters more interesting. My favorite thing about the drama was the bromance between the cellmates it was really endearing and I particularly loved how Jungwoo and Shin Cheolshik's relationship evolved from enemies to accomplices who share a common interest to actual friends.
Overall I really enjoyed watching this drama though it has its flaws and was quite predictable but I would say that it most definitely didn't reach the standards that I set for dramas Jisung stars in.

Finished it in two days
This show was a pleasant surprise to me as I went into it with no expectations, it completely drew me in and got me very attached to most of the characters even ones that were a bit morally ambiguous. Though the story is nothing extraordinary it's a character-based show that focuses mainly on the characters, how they develop and how their relationships change in the midst of the crisis they're facing and it does an excellent job a it.Nevertheless it does have some flaws, notably the CG which I honestly found quite janky, the monsters looked very irrealistic which threw me off at times especially in the beginning. Not only the monsters but also some basic things like fire and the snow looked very fake which I assume was a budget issue, hopefully the second season gets invested in more. Also, some events seemed rushed but that's usually what happens with webtoon adaptations since you can't fit everything in a limited number of episodes. Overall, I'd say it's a very good show and I highly recommend it, I'll probably be reading the webtoon now.
