Love this drama the chemistry between the ML and FL was fantastic rest of the cast was fantastic as well. So scary at certain times you couldn't embrace who you truly were without suffering repercussions.Beautiful cinematography and the music was haunting as well as so apropos for various scenes in the drama. A little draggy and some spots but that's to be expected with dramas that run 20 to 30 hours long. I give it a overall 9½ and would recommend it to anyone. And I have to say male lead, Ro Woon has beautiful lips ??

Child actors stream the show.
This was a very good drama even though I'm watching it over 10 years after it aired It didn't appear dated much at all. I was going to the drama because the two young male and female leads I've seen them other dramas and wanted to see some of their earliest stuff and was very pleasantly surprised with the entire cast for this one.Big fan of the production of Sageuk dramas.
It amazes me with the depth of political backstabbing that went on during the Joseon era. The actors did an excellent job portraying the climate of the times as well as the emotional turmoils they had to endure... Very well done considering it's over 10 years old.

Love the drama love the actors especially the two main leads, Chen Fei Yu and Zhang Jing Yi. But the story got a little convoluted at some points which took a little bit away from the overall flow of the drama for me. Some silly mistakes had me like why would they do that??♀️. But I did like it for the most part and the original soundtrack is stellar!!You can't control who you fall in love with and life choices are often times based on emotions, and always feeling the need to be on top of the world regardless of collateral damage were 2 main take aways in this drama.
But I did enjoy it for the most part and I would watch it again and did I say the soundtrack is stellar!!!

Super cute drama! I'm a fan of Zhao Lusi's fragile but tough persona and this drama was a pleasant surprise. The chemistry between the actors is pretty good. This was a pleasant change from all the Historical dramas I usually watch. Quite a few good looking actors is always a good thing in my opinion.??I do like the strong female characters and they are well acted.
A couple of things going on and some surprise plot twists makes this an engaging drama without being too many episodes to wrap up the story. Recommended, especially if you're a fan of Zhao Lusi.

Loved everything about this contemporary drama! Acting, storyline, music were all well done. I love anything Diliraba and as this is my first drama with Yang Yang, I was a pleasant surprise and what a good kisser he is ??.The storyline will resonate with a lot of people because it deals with decisions people make and dreams they have. Well done and highly recommended.
I didn't realize how modern Shanghai and Beijing look because I've watched so many period dramas.
Waiting to see what these actors do next!

I'm binge watching this series because it's just that good. I had it on my Amazon watch list for at least a month and honestly the first 2 episodes kind of put me off because one characters kept whining and I thought, not 50+ episodes of her ass ??.But everywhere I looked everyone's recommending this drama so I said okay let me give it another shot and I am hooked!!??
I've watched over 30 episodes in probably 4 days because I'm home recuperating from hip surgery and can't get out much.
My roommate asked if I was leaning Chinese??.
So many plot twists and the actors do a good job relating to their characters.
Can hardly wait to finish!! Thank you Viki, Amazon, Netflix, and YouTube for bringing us Cdramas❤️❤️❤️!
