Way under rated
This was such a roller coaster of emotions from beginning to end. It was pretty short so there's not much to say, except I'm incredibly impressed by the people who made this happen. I have watched this so many times trying to figure out what happened at the end and coming up with all sorts of theories and each time I'm even more intrigued than the last. If this were made into a full-length movie or even a short drama where the character's emotions and thoughts could have been explored more, I would watch it religiously.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
*SQUEAL*
Bro, I don't know why I like this show so much. The plot is arguably nothing special, but the way the actors portray the character's emotions feels so real. One of my favorite parts has to be that if there is a miscommunication the characters talk about it instead of breaking up for some stupid reason and going 4 episodes without talking or something.STORY
Bro, I could go on for days about how cute the story is. We get a backstory as to why the characters hate each other and there is some mystery as to why the parents have had a rivalry that has been going on for years, and the suspense is enough to drive you mad.
Honestly, there is only a couple of bad things overall and that's the ending and Pran's shitty friends. The fact that Pran had to apologize to Wai when HE was the one to expose them to the whole school and possibly put them in danger because he was a little butthurt his friend found someone who made him happy had me rolling on the floor ready to punch someone. On the other hand, Pat's friends are the best. 10/10 would recommend
The only other thing is the ending. I know many people have already said this but the ending was so disappointing. It's realistic, though, if you look at it from a real-world perspective. You can't always get everything you want but as long as you're happy and your partner is fine with it, it's their choice yk?
ACTING
There's not much to say really besides the cast was hand-picked by God Herself
MUSIC
Bro the ost is stuck in my head and on repeat in my playlist.... all the time.
REWATCH VALUE
This is such a good comfort series when you want to watch a cute fluffy drama with some angst here and there. Not ashamed to admit how many times I have watched this tbh
Overall it's a must-watch not just for BL fans but also just for anyone who enjoys watching 2 people gradually fall in love while the whole world seems to be against them.

Cliche but so cute
Honestly this has become one of my favorite shows ever. Its cute, has tons of fluffy scenes, doesn't overly sexualize the characters and while it is short it gives the characters time to be able to develop and get together in a natural way instead of having them fight in every episode and then make up in the very last one. There's no toxic exes, and any miscommunication is resolved within 2 episodes at most. The storyline is pretty cliche but there is something about this one that just stuck with me. It's not for everyone, (especially if you're into more intense dramas) but i do think it's worth watching at least once.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
So much wasted potential
Kind of a late review, but here's what i thinkThis drama started off so strong, the characters actually had chemistry, the storyline seemed pretty well planned out, what could go wrong? Well as this series proved, everything could turn to shit in less than a single episode.
This had so much potential that just went down the drain, and i truly believe the only reason it got so popular is because the actors are appealing to the eye, and I can't confidently say that I don't believe they were cast simply for that reason.
Win's role as Tine deserves some recognition seeing as it was one of his first ever roles. Bright on the other hand; i can't tell if his acting seemed so standoff-ish because the director instructed him to act that way or because he simply didn't have the ability to act like he wasn't put off by the mere idea of kissing someone of the same sex.
They started off strong in the first couple episodes, and i can't exactly pinpoint where but at some point all the chemistry between them just evaporated into thin air, never to be seen again.
The kissing scenes were absolute abominations as well. It felt like the directors out a gun to their head and said "kiss or die". I recently rewatched it hoping that i just overreacted the first time i saw it and there was some chemistry left but it was even worse because all i could think about when they had to kiss was that it looked like those videos where someone brings a pocky to a party and gets people of the same sex to bite it until they "kiss". It just looked forced.
I will give some credit to the actors however, because they seemed much more comfortable when they were acting in F4 and that just reinforced my belief that they used BL as a way to get popularity and then when they got enough money from it they would just act in a straight drama. As a queer person, i'm tired of seeing these actors use, what is for most of us the only representation we get, as a stepping stone for them to gain more popularity. I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason they haven't done the same dumb shit Krist did on instagram is because they have so many social media managers that wouldn't let them post it.
In conclusion the show was ass and the only reason i'm not giving it a 0 is because of Green.

Pretty basic
The storyline isn't anything groundbreaking. Guy#1 meets guy on street and have a fight. Guy#1 curses out other guy without realizing he has enough money to buy and destroy his whole life. They meet and start to bond and feelings blossom yadda yadda yadda. They did have a lot of chemistry but there was also a lot of conflict that could've been avoided if they had COMMUNICATED.The side couple however- i feel like toxic relationships aren't portrayed as well as they could be in a lot of dramas, but this one really showed how hard it could be to leave someone, especially when you've been together for so long. Their story was also nothing special and it took so long for them to actually get together that when they finally did it felt a bit off. Idk how else to describe it.
By episode 5 i wanted to just drop it but I wanted to see if it would get any better. Up until episode 7 i had absolutely ZERO hope but episode 8 kind of made up for it and it felt a bit less like i had wasted 8 weeks of my life. Everyone got their happy ending and Thaenkhun got what he deserved.
By the time episode 8 ended i had one exactly 2 characters who i still liked- Phirada and Ping and they are now one of my top 5 ride or die characters and i will die on this hill.
One last thing; the kiss scenes. I would rate it a 2/10 at best. I'm a firm believer that shows don't have to have sex scenes to be good, they don't even have to have a kiss scene, like a lot of dramas have proved (i.e. cherry magic, kieta hatsukoi) but if you're going to include one MAKE IT LOOK REALISTIC. The side couple had a cute little peck on the forehead at the end and that was honestly good enough. It was one of those cute moments that make you smile even without meaning to. However the main couple should've probably done the same thing cuz the kiss was giving "it counts as a kiss cuz our lips touched". If the actors felt uncomfortable kissing, either don't cast them (because it's literally their job to ACT and play a CHARACTER) or take out the kissing scene altogether

A slow burn that didn't make me wanna quit watching halfway through
Ok so first off, I'm gonna start by saying that the characters took their sweet time admitting their feelings. Now was it worth it? Depends.Personally I'm not going to be re watching this anytime soon, but that is only because i feel like i would just skip over half of the show. I might re watch it again in a couple months tho
Moving on to the actual plot- this is a slowwwwwwwwww burn
We don't get any actual couple scenes until the very end, but in my opinion this makes for a great cliffhanger for a season 2. Will this happen? probably not but it's nice to hope.
The characters were cast to perfection and while their chemistry isn't exactly RamKing level it's definitely not BrightWin either.
I'm pretty sure the actors are rookies, so I'm impressed with how well this turned out
I liked pretty much all of the characters, but especially Yu He, which is why i found it really messed up when she outed Amber but other than that i loved all the characters
The side couple deserved way more screen time than they got and I'm kind of upset they didn't get any screen time after like episode 9.

There's not much to say except I wanted to gouge my eyes out 90% of the time while watching this. There were some cute moments but it doesn't make up for everything else. The first part of the first episode already had a rape trope which was then romanticized and turned into just a regular one-night-stand where one of them just so happened to be blackout drunk to the point he didn't even recognize vee and the other just so happened to have a girlfriend. I loathe the cheating trope and often the writers try to make it seem like it's okay or not cheating just because it was with a guy. IT'S STILL CHEATING! I think they also tried to make viewers feel less weird about the whole situation by making the girlfriend cheat, which is total bs. All in all, this was just not for me. No. Just... No
After watching this I can confidently say... I have finally found it. I have found a series that made me want to blow my brains out more than 2gether the series. It took me almost 2 weeks to get through this dumpster fire because I had to keep pausing and contemplating all the life choices that had led me to this very moment in time. It was cringy, repetitive, and just overall so cliche in the worst possible waysSTORY
The story itself was really cute- or it would've been if the writers and producers knew their heads from their asses. Tonhon, from the very beginning, is a self-obsessed jerk who has so much internalized homophobia he can't even realize his closest friends who he has known for years are gay themselves. This wouldn't be such an issue, however, if he didn't treat being gay like it was the plague.
The trope of him being violently, disgustingly, vomit-inducingly homophobic to telling his childhood best friend he was in love with him would have been kind of cute if they hadn't made him SO homophobic to the point he refused to even acknowledge it wasn't a disease. This just added to my confusion when one second he was punching a dude for flirting with chonlatee and the next he was kissing him. It just didn't make sense.
Chonlatee was such a sweet character and he deserved way better. By episode 6 I was rooting for the second lead to end up with him. I knew it wouldn't happen but I just needed some motivation to keep watching. The fact that Chonlatee said being in a relationship with Ton was tiring just solidified my opinion that just because you love someone is not reason enough to stay together. They were borderline toxic and I will die on that hill.
Ai and Ni made me more interested in their story than the main couple did and they only had like 10 mins of screen time in each episode if that. I would've loved it if they had gotten just a bit more time cuz they were so cute together. Also, fuck the directors for not giving us the AiNi kiss scene we deserved. We were robbed.
As episode 10 rolled around the corner I liked exactly 2 characters- Itt and Miriam. I would say pang too but she didn't get enough screen time for me to get to know her character.
STORY
Boring and so cliche. The crazy ex-girlfriend trope can be pretty interesting if implemented in the right context. As you may have guessed whoever decided how they should include the trope in this series did not do a great job of it. Not even a half-decent job at that. They didn't just include the trope- no they instead made the whole storyline around the girl.
Every. Single. Episode. There she was. Oh, the main characters are having a cute moment. How cute! Oh, wait Amp is right around the corner about to throw water on the poor dude. Damn. Oh, how adorable they're going on a date! Oh wait never mind she's there and now all three characters are in a bad mood.
There was not a single cute moment that wasn't ruined by her presence. I can't remember most of what I watched, but you know what I do remember? Amp was there.
ACTING
Overall the acting was pretty good. The actors did the best they could with what they were given. While most people probably don't like the antagonist the actress who played Amp did a wonderful job of making us hate her.
All in all, would I ever watch this again? I would rather willingly jump into a pit of lava. I do however want the intro played at my funeral.
