THIS BETTER HAVE A SECOND SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG, I can't even begin to describe how amazing The On1y One is! This drama is just everything. The slow burn and all that intensity? I’m all in! Watching Sheng Wang and Jiang Tian find comfort in each other was so heartwarming. It really nails what it feels like to be a lonely teenager who doesn’t fit in and worries about how others see them. I love how it dives into these feelings—it’s super relatable and done really well!

The "villain" in this drama isn’t exactly a full-on antagonist, but more like a bad guy who sabotages Sheng Wang here and there. He doesn’t have a huge role, but his actions create just enough tension to keep you on edge. He’s not a character you hate entirely; in fact, understanding where he’s coming from makes his character more complex and interesting, even though he's not front and center.

And then there’s the second couple. Their chemistry? Absolutely incredible! From the moment they appeared, I honestly thought they were already together. They have that natural connection that’s just magnetic like they’re meant for each other. Their storyline, with its subtle jealousy and unspoken feelings, brought a whole new layer of intensity and excitement to the show. I was so hooked on their scenes, and their backstory made their relationship even more fascinating.

What really hit home for me, though, was how realistic Sheng Wang’s journey is. I grew up in a similar situation, and I could totally relate to what he was going through. The way he shows his struggles feels so real and authentic. It made me feel all the feels!

The only thing that disappointed me was the cliffhanger ending! It just leaves you hanging, wanting so much more. I’m crossing my fingers for a second season because this story deserves a satisfying conclusion, and I need answers!

Overall, The On1y One is such a gem. It’s this perfect mix of drama and real-life struggles that pulls you in completely. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re missing out—go watch it!

This was a disaster!

I don't write reviews often, but I was so shocked by this drama that I couldn't help but share it!
First of all, watching the female lead was painful. I have never seen someone more stiff. A wall has more emotions than the actress. Honestly, I'm not sure I've seen her in something else or if she can act. Maybe this was just a new thing she was trying. so I have no other choice but to judge her solely by this and say that she should look into some acting classes!

Sadly, the female lead wasn't the only bad thing. The plot was even worse. This drama was seriously bipolar. First, the love triangle was randomly shoved in, and then the two male leads turned on each other which was just stupid. When I started watching I thought that this was supposed to be Kang In Ha and Han Tae Ho against In Ha's father. I thought they were supposed to say as friends and work together because that's what we were shown at the beginning but it all went crazy in the middle. Kang In Ha killed his brother and blamed it on Han Tae Ho and then Tae Ho went to jail and got broken out by Kang In Ha's father... etc. And not to mention that all of this was crowned by people dying and coming back to life randomly.

The only good part or thing in this show was Kang Hee Joo. I know that she is a flawed character but her scenes were the only ones I didn't want to skip through. the actress is very talented. despite her playing more of a negative character I still managed to enjoy some of her scenes. maybe because she is that good or perhaps the other characters were so badly written that she just shined through.

I have watched a lot of dramas. I might not be a professional screenwriter but I at least know how to differentiate between a good and a bad drama. this took me THREE MONTHS to finish and that already says a lot. I have pulled all-nighters for a good drama or a TV Show. I've gone on with 2 hours of sleep merely to finish a good show but this took me three months. I had the chance to finish it in a week or 2 weeks tops but it was just too painful to turn it on. but over time it got more painful to see it every time I looked through my "watching list". That is the only reason I decided to finish this drama. I simply couldn't bear being reminded of it.

Kinda confused about the age gap

“First Note of Love” isn’t a bad watch. It’s interesting and has its moments, though I wouldn’t say it’s groundbreaking. I’ve definitely seen better, but honestly, there are way worse dramas out there. The plot is decent and moves along pretty well, but it could have used a solid villain or some real tension. Every good drama needs that bit of conflict to keep you on the edge, and this one was missing that.

One thing that did throw me off was the age gap between Sea and Neil. Sea’s supposed to be a college sophomore, which makes him around 20, while Neil, based on the flashbacks, seems to be pushing 30. That 10-year gap felt a little iffy and even uncomfortable, considering Sea is so young. I get that age gaps can add some depth to a relationship, but this one just felt a bit too much.

That said, “First Note of Love” is a chill show. It’s light, kind of sweet, and easy to watch when you just want something simple. There’s nothing particularly unique here, though, so it’s not the kind of drama that’ll stick with you long after.

Overall, it’s a decent pick if you’re into Taiwanese BL dramas and looking for something casual. Just don’t go in expecting a masterpiece.

Finally finished!

I started watching Alice in Borderland Season 2 just yesterday, and wow, I wish I hadn’t put it off for so long! I watched the first season as it was coming out, but I was hesitant to dive into the second one because I thought it was going to be the last season. I didn’t want it to end, so I waited. Then I find out there’s going to be a THIRD season? OMG, I’m so HAPPYYYYYY!

This season is seriously amazing. I love how it dives deeper into the characters’ backstories and develops their arcs even further. Arisu and Usagi really grow as they face all these insane challenges in Borderland. The flashbacks are a great touch, giving you more insight into what drives them. And then there’s Chishiya—he’s definitely the love of my life! His character is so complex; he’s charming, manipulative, and super smart. One minute he’s helping out Arisu and Usagi, and the next, you’re wondering if he’s playing them for his own gain. It keeps you on your toes, and I love that about him.

I really liked how the plot kept raising the stakes with each game. The games are not just about physical challenges; they also test mental strategies and trust among the characters. There’s a lot of tension and emotional weight, especially when you see the characters pushed to their limits. I started watching at 11 p.m. and couldn't stop until I finished the whole season!

As for the ending, I wasn’t totally in love with it at first, but now that I know there’s a third season, I feel way better about it. The Queen of Hearts was absolutely SERVING CUUNT! She’s such a villain, but honestly, you can’t help but admire her style. But let’s be real—FUCK Niragi! Both figuratively and literally! I can’t stand that guy. He drives me insane every time he shows up.

That said, I did notice some plot holes here and there. Some of the game rules felt inconsistent, especially in the Jack of Hearts game. It was a bit confusing how some players could trick others without any consequences. And while the concept of Borderland being a sort of limbo is interesting, the reason behind why certain characters are chosen to play feels a bit random.

Overall, though, Season 2 of Alice in Borderland is just as gripping as the first. The twists, the character development, and the intense storytelling keep you hooked. I can’t wait for the next season—bring it on!

It had the right idea!

I liked the plot they planned for Stay Still, but honestly, the duration just wasn’t enough to really explore it fully. The drama itself isn’t anything super special, but it’s not bad either. This is actually my second time watching it, and the first time there wasn’t even a 5th episode, so I ended up rewatching when everything was out. To be real, I didn’t feel like I gained or lost much from watching it again—it’s an okay drama with a lot of potential that didn’t quite get there.

One thing that bugged me was the third couple. I didn’t really get why they were there. They didn’t add much to the story and honestly just felt kind of pointless. I could see how the first and third couples were connected, but Hayden and Damien? I had no clue where they fit into the bigger picture. It felt a little random like they were thrown in just to fill time, but without a real purpose.

Overall, Stay Still had great potential, but it didn’t fully live up to what it could’ve been. It’s not a bad watch, especially if you’re looking for something light, but it might leave you feeling like something’s missing if you’re hoping for more depth.

It's soo good!

I honestly don’t even know where to start. "His" completely took me by surprise and really hit me in ways I wasn’t expecting. It’s not just good—it’s one of those movies that stays with you long after you’re done watching.

The acting? Amazing. The actors made everything feel so real like you were right there with them. Shun’s quiet loneliness and Nagisa’s struggle between the past and present were so genuine. Even the little girl was adorable and added so much to the story. You could just feel the emotions between Shun and Nagisa like there was all this history and unspoken love that neither of them knew how to handle.

The plot is simple, but that’s what makes it work. It’s about two people trying to reconnect after years apart, but it’s also about self-acceptance and what it means to love, especially when life has changed so much. Watching them figure out their feelings for each other while dealing with the weight of their past was equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking.

What really got me, though, were the small moments. There aren’t any big dramatic scenes—it’s all in the quiet glances, the hesitant touches, and the things they don’t say. That’s what made it feel so real. And the way they dealt with being LGBTQ+ in a society that’s not always accepting felt really honest. It wasn’t overdone or cliché, just a real reflection of their struggles.

It is a good movie!

I had been putting off watching Your Name Engraved Herein for way too long. I’d seen some spoilers on TikTok a couple of years ago, so I was kind of hesitant to watch it because I knew it would be emotional and heartbreaking. And yeah, it totally lived up to that. But honestly, I’m really glad I finally gave it a chance.

The plot itself is pretty straightforward, but it’s the way the story unfolds that really gets you. It’s set in Taiwan during the late ’80s when being openly gay was still super taboo, and it follows two high school boys, Jia-han and Birdy, as they try to figure out their feelings for each other. The whole time, they’re battling their own fears and the pressure from society around them, and you can just feel how heavy that weight is.

The acting was hands-down one of the best parts. Edward Chen and Tseng Jing-hua really nailed their roles. They brought so much depth to their characters, and even though the movie is only about an hour and a half long, I felt really connected to them. They made the emotions feel real, especially during the more intense scenes.

Speaking of which, the shower scene and the beach scene? Wow. Both were beautifully shot, and you could feel how desperate and scared they both were. In the shower scene, the tension between them was so thick, and you could see how badly they wanted to reach out to each other but were terrified of what that would mean. Then, in the beach scene, it was like all those feelings were on full display — the love, the fear, the confusion. It was heart-wrenching but also really powerful.

That being said, there were a couple of things that didn’t quite work for me. The pacing felt a bit off in some parts. I wish they had spent more time diving into Jia-han’s family dynamics and Birdy’s struggles with dating a girl. These were touched on, but I feel like they could have added more layers to the story if they had been explored further.

One thing I have to mention is the music. The song “Your Name Engraved Herein” was absolutely perfect for the movie. It’s haunting and beautiful, and every time it came on, it added so much emotion to the scenes. It’s one of those songs that stays with you, just like the movie.

All in all, I really enjoyed Your Name Engraved Herein. Yes, it’s sad and heartbreaking, but it’s also so raw and honest. The ending is bittersweet, but it feels real like it fits with the journey the characters went through. If you’re in the mood for something emotional that will leave you thinking about it long after it’s over, this movie is definitely worth watching.

it's another cliche

If you want a drama just to have it running in the background this is for you! This show has nothing no depth no plot no action! They are literally showing how two people fall in love. that's it! There were a couple of moments when I thought that the plot was going to start to get interesting but nothing happened. They had so many chances, with Zhen Shao Xiang or Meng Yi Ran but nothing. The show had so many characters but no one did anything. I finished it because I love this kind of cliche drama but that's the only reason. They had nothing going on. I love Yang Yang a lot but honestly, I can't give this drama a good review just because of him. at first, it was going okay but it got boring towards the end. after I realized there was no villain I just stopped carrying. If you skip this drama you won't lose much.

if you want a show just to chill this is for you

1% of Anything is definitely a cliché story, but I still had fun watching it. The plot isn’t anything new—if you like the poor FL, rich ML storyline, you’ll probably enjoy this one. But honestly, after episode 15, things started dragging. Everyone was getting some kind of redemption arc, and the only real issue left was the FLs constantly needing approval and not wanting to upset the parents. Despite its 26-episode run, the show lacked a true villain. One thing I did like was that they didn’t turn Lee Jae In and Min Tae Ha into rivals, but they really could’ve used a proper antagonist. They teased a few possibilities—first the art teacher, but he disappeared, then Lee Jae Yeong’s friend, who just made Kim Da Hyun jealous, but didn’t do much else. Min Tae Ha seemed like he might turn into the villain, but that was just a fakeout. His mother had potential, but she switched up pretty fast too. In the end, there just wasn’t a proper villain... unless you count Lee Jae In himself. He’s easily one of my least favorite characters. He’s arrogant, rude, and has a terrible temper, but the worst part is how borderline abusive he is. In the early episodes, you can see him gripping Kim Da Hyun’s arm so hard that she gets bruised. He’s impulsive and hot-headed, and in a culture like South Korea, where respect and politeness are huge, his behavior felt even more off. I know that that was the main point, his redemption arc but it didn't do much for me. Honestly, I liked the second lead couple way more—they felt real and had actual chemistry and also it didn't include Lee Jae-In.

I did like Kim Seo Hyeon’s character, but it was weird how he seemed to have romantic chemistry with almost every female character. It got awkward at times. And then there’s Kang Hee Jin and Kang Yoo Jin, who were thrown into the story so randomly. They didn’t really add much except to give Kim Seo Hyeon a love interest, but it felt forced.

The acting wasn’t great either. It was my first time watching Kim Jung Hwa, and she didn’t make much of an impression. The same goes for Kang Dong Won—they both felt stiff, which didn’t help the story.

All in all, Only 1% Make It Better isn’t a bad drama. It’s a bit stretched out, and the lack of conflict and stiff acting bring it down, but if you enjoy these kinds of familiar love stories, it’s still worth a watch. I’d give it a 6.5/10.

Loved It!

The Victims' Game completely caught me off guard in the best way possible. The plot was super intriguing, and the whole thing was written and produced really well. I went into it a bit skeptical, not expecting much, but as I kept watching, I found myself totally hooked. Each episode pulled me in deeper, and I couldn’t wait to get to the next piece of the puzzle.

Being a huge fan of detective dramas, I’ve seen a lot of different storylines, including ones with “suicide groups", which can sometimes feel overdone. But what I loved about The Victims' Game is that it didn’t feel like just another case. The way the show handled the investigation was fresh, and it really got into the emotional side of things for the characters. You could feel the weight of what they were going through, and that added a whole new layer to the mystery.

Joseph Chang’s performance as Fang Yi-Jen was amazing. He plays a forensic scientist with autism, and you could tell he put so much thought into making the character feel real. He brought this quiet intensity to the role, and I loved how he balanced his character’s personal struggles with the demands of his job. His acting really stood out to me and made the character so compelling.

I also really enjoyed Tiffany Hsu’s character, Hsu Hai-Yin. At first, I thought she’d be your typical pushy journalist—characters like hers can often be a bit annoying in detective dramas—but she surprised me. Yes, she’s flawed and makes some reckless choices, but that’s what made her fun to watch. She became one of the most interesting characters, and her scenes quickly became some of my favorites. Her chemistry with Fang Yi-Jen added a lot to the show as well. They really do have a great friendship.

What makes The Victims' Game special is how it mixes the mystery with real emotions. It’s not just about solving a case—it’s about how that case impacts the people involved. The drama touches on things like mental health and family issues, which gave the story a lot of depth and made it feel more than just your usual detective show. It made the stakes feel personal, which really drew me in.

Overall, The Victims' Game is more than just a crime drama. It’s an emotional ride with a gripping mystery, strong characters, and moments that really stick with you. I ended up loving the whole experience and would totally recommend it to anyone who’s into detective dramas but wants something with more heart.

Not bad

Going into this drama I didn't know what to expect at first. I thought it would be more flawed and possibly very controversial (which it was at moments) but overall it was quite enjoyable.
The plot was fun, actors were good. I loved Shison Jun's performance not to mention how beautiful he looked. The drama didn't do a bad job of showing many hardships of being a trans woman in a more lighthearted way in only 4 episodes. During this short period, we were able to get to know and empathize with the main character quite well. The only part I disliked was that often Miki-san was referred to as a man. Overall I enjoyed this drama and might even rewatch it in the future. I definitely will recommend it to my friends.

BORING!

I CAN’T even with House of Stars! This was just TRAGIC in all the wrong ways. I only made it through 3 episodes, and honestly, it made me question my life choices for sticking around that long. Where do I even start?

First off, the acting… yikes. It wasn’t great, but I kind of expected that since it’s not uncommon in some Thai dramas. So, I figured I’d let that slide. But the plot?! Oh man, just NO. I couldn’t get behind it at all. It was a total mess. The whole idea of this glamorous house full of celebrities and their secrets should have been exciting, but instead, it felt all over the place and hard to care about.

By the time I finished episode 3, I realized I just wasn’t invested in any of the characters. The drama didn’t feel intense or intriguing, just forced. And the twists they tried to throw in? They didn’t land for me at all. It felt like the show was trying way too hard to be dark and mysterious, but it just came off as confusing and cringy.

Honestly, I was ready to drop it way before episode 3, but I was hoping it would get better. Spoiler: It didn’t. Overall, I wanted to like it, but House of Stars was just not it for me.
