The anime, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, is one of my all time favourites so when I found out a couple days ago about this movie I just had to re-watch it in preparation for the movie.
Overall, the movie was not that bad. It included most (but not all) of the characters and had a lot of jokes from the anime - although I do wish it included more, but it's understandable why there weren't that many. This movie is very funny and I really like how they based it on the festival from the anime, although I must admit, I was rather disappointed about the girls in the movie as not only were they very different from the original characters, but they were also in it a lot more which I felt took away from the point of it being about the boys. Also I must admit I did not approve of how they incorporated Ringo's character as she was a completely different person... However I think Nomura Shuhei slayed as Tanaka~!

All in all it was a good, funny movie but did not do the anime justice.

Okay, so I'm not going to sugar coat it; this movie was horrifying. From the painful acting to the agonisingly cliché storyline, this movie was hard to watch.
Not even 5 minutes into it I knew it'd be a painfully long 1 hour 50 minutes... but I continued to watch anyway as the beautiful Boyfriend started in it and right up to the closing credits I was praying that it'd get better, but no. This movie was a combination of every stereotypical Japanese comedy ever - with gag humour that honesty made me gag. And I don't understand why people feel the need to include random lines of terrible English for no real reason at all...! Not to even mention the predictable and, to be honest, overworked female leads character and the overall casts wardrobe... I could literally write a 100 page essay on what's wrong with this movie... But instead, I'll end my little rant with this.
If I'm honest, I'm actually angry that Boyfriend would waste their time on such a piece of rubbish and their beautiful faces and blissful songs are the only reason I could even give this movie any kind of rating at all!

I have juts finished the whole Reply series and by far Reply 1988 is my favourite and, in my opinion, the best! I think that the actors were perfectly chosen for each role and really complemented each character. I found that they had the perfect mix of comedy and romance. And, although the husband (I won't say who) wasn't who I'd initially hoped for, I think that they made a cute couple in the end. The ending was absolutely perfect and left a tear of happiness in my eye. This drama is a MUST watch and I recommend it to any and everyone~!! Even my friends who don't watch Korean shows want to watch it!

If I'm honest, I didn't mean to watch this drama... I was actually trying to watch a Chinese show called 'Tiger Mom' but when I typed it in to the search engine the first couple links said 'Angry Mom' and, assuming it was just a translation thing, I clicked on a random link. As soon as the episode started I knew I was in the wrong place, but I'd already started so I thought I'd at least finish the first episode. I wasn't really sure what to think at first, but a couple days later I was bored so I thought I'd check out another episode and I am so happy I did!! This drama is officially one of new my favourites~!!
I have recommended this show to many friends but none of them even got threw the first episode!! I assure you though, the first episode may be kind of... strange... but after that it gets SO GOOD~! I couldn't recommend this drama any more (and not just because of the cute guys in it ;) )!! Just PLEASE get past the first episode before you make any judgements...!! ^^
