☆ The Best Ones
I cant think of a more befitting title for the dramas that are included.

7. Goblin
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
I've always been a sucker for fatansy & supernatural themed romance drama--- not to mention how good the drama looked in terms of quality! Although this drama is not relatable due to its fictional nature, every character within this drama had the looks and personality to keep me glued to the screen!

8. Queen In Hyun's Man
Korean Drama - 2012, 16 episodes
The cutesy Yoo In Na is here to make me cry again! Oh man, this one is so romantic. I really do love time travelling type of drama, they gets me every time.
-
9. Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me
Chinese Drama - 2017, 23 episodes
-
10. Who Are You: School 2015
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
Viewer discretion is advised as this drama heavily deals with bullying and suicide. This hits very close to home as we all had (or will have) to deal with bullying, whether we were the bully or the victim ourselves. I really enjoyed how the story unfolded in such a way that depicted all the characters in different positions dealing with bullying in their respectful ways.

11. W
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
I'm not as shallow as I originally expected myself to be lol. Lee Jong Suk is definitely an eye-candy, but the plot itself was very fresh and interesting. I love mystery & suspense and this drama was right up my alley. The romance itself was not out-of-this-world, but it was intriguing and worth the watch.

12. Nightmare Teacher
Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
Good teachers are hard to come by; teachers that actually makes an effort to change students for the better are as rare as mythical beings. I've never had the fortune to actually meet one in my life, even so, I've been brought to tears because of how wonderful this teacher was.
There's another similar drama called Misaki Number One! J drama that I've watched recently and have given it a drastically lower rating than Nightmare Teacher. Unlike the hot headed Misaki who wears her sense of justice on her sleeve, this guy was not afraid to get dirty for the sake of his students. This individual would probably not exist in real life, otherwise he would probably end up in jail, which is why I think he deserves so much more love and respect.
And then there's Kuro no Onna Kyoushi. I think that one is pretty much the best Japanese take on the same genre. I don't remember much from that one, which means it didn't strike me as hard as this drama did.

13. 9 Seconds: Eternal Time
Korean Drama - 2015, 7 episodes
Originally I was interested in this because of Na Hae Ryung. She's always given one of those rich girl roles, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out about this drama. I really like how even though disability is a very sensitive topic and have been proved very challenging to juggle, the production team had managed to bring out the sweet and bitterness of the challenging memories and burdens that the characters had to face-- without making it cliché just as how the drama tropes tend to happen with the illnesses and random car crashes.

14. Dream High
Korean Drama - 2011, 16 episodes
What a classic! This drama is basically the Korean version of High School Musical with its own unique characters and how they grow into a better version of themselves.
-
15. Bring It On, Ghost
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Kim So Hyun is truly fantastic at what she does. She really makes my tears swell up whenever she's involved one way or another in a drama that I happen to stumble onto. I did not give it a much higher rating because Ok Taec Yeon did not seem to break out of his frame ever since Dream High... a bit disappointing, but a thrilling experience as a whole for this drama regardless.

16. Simple Man
Chinese Drama - 2016, 17 episodes
This gave me the Detective Conan feels. I normally only dig historical and supernatural themed Chinese drama, but this one definitely stood out with its J&K drama influenced style.
-
17. Mirror of the Witch
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
Again with the supernatural theme, I know! This is the 2nd drama I've watched starring with Kim Sae Ron. The first one was Hi! School- Love On. This particular one is very different from HSLO and I could totally tell that she had been working hard and trying different roles, because this one was much heavier and less bubbly than HSLO. The ending was less than perfect, which was why i could not give it more ☆s, but it's still a good drama to enjoy.
