1. Love and Redemption
Chinese Drama - 2020, 59 episodes
This drama will always be one of my top watches as I experienced many highs and lows with this show. This story was definitely an interesting watch and one of my favorite Xianxias.
Pulling off a great Xianxia seems to be tricky for CDramas as many have the same recycled stories. Where this one stands out is they don't start off in heavenly arc but the mortal one. The love between the characters was deep and the acting was well executed for this heavy, angsty drama.
Definitely a recommended watch for those that like a deep romance through multiple story arcs.

2. Love Is Sweet
Chinese Drama - 2020, 36 episodes
The chemistry between the leads was amazing! Very well written story and fun, light hearted watch.
The production value was pretty standard for a modern drama. Would have liked to see some of the supporting characters fleshed out a little more but our main leads carried this drama through just fine.

3. The Romance of Tiger and Rose
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
This was a fun transmigration story and our 2 leads were adorable. The well placed comedy kept me engaged throughout and I appreciated they added that in here.
There were some plot holes and cliche bits but overall the story was strong with good acting. I definitely recommend this for a watch.

4. Imawa no Kuni no Arisu
Japanese Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
I enjoyed this drama but wish it could be a little longer. The overall story is strong and engaging with a sense of mystery to find out what the games are all about. Each game is very interesting to watch and keeps you on the edge of your seat to see how they will survive.
My only issue is since it's short, it's hard to fully connect with the characters. I am interested to see the proceeding seasons to wrap up the story.

5. Forever Love
Chinese Drama - 2020, 28 episodes
One of the better schools dramas. This was a cute watch, although it had a couple of odd moments for drama sake. It’s one of the better high school/college dramas.
The overall plot was strong between the couple meeting and their relationship progression was natural and sweet. They had an even balance of misunderstandings and happiness in their relationship and it showed how dedicated they were as a couple to make their relationship last. The acting was decent in this drama and everyone played their role well. The drama was the perfect amount of episodes and provided decent closure to the story.
The dubbing wasn’t always the best, especially during some more emotional scenes. I also wasn’t very fond of the ending being shown at the beginning. It sort of spoils the drama for me if I already know how it ends. I didn’t like the huge focus on FL’s family and ML’s family just sort of disappeared. I also feel like we didn’t get closure from the 2nd ML, he sort of just disappeared as well. Lastly, I wasn’t a huge fan of the lighting in this drama. It had a very washed out tone through out.
