Veteran actress Kim Soo Mi's side has responded to all the circulating rumors about her current health condition.
On September 11, actress Kim Soo Mi's son Chung Myung Ho who is also the director of Morning Glory F&B clarified the reports about her mother's current health condition.
The businessman clarified that Kim Soo Mi's recent appearance on the home shopping channel was due to exhaustion from a lack of sleep and a tight filming schedule. He reassured fans that her health was not a major concern.
During a home shopping broadcast on September 8th, Kim Soo Mi promoted her kimchi brand. However, viewers expressed concern over her appearance, visibly swollen face, shaky hands, and slower-than-usual speech.
Due to health issues, Kim Soo Mi took a temporary break from her home shopping broadcasts in July. She was also hospitalized previously due to fatigue and had to halt her activities. This made viewers even more concerned when she returned to the show.
Kim Soo Mi was born in 1949 and she is currently 76 years old.
The veteran actress is best known for being part of the K-dramas Man in the Kitchen, Legendary Witch, The Incarnation of Money, Vampire Idol, Unstoppable Marriage, The King and I, What Happened in Bali, Salted Mackerel, Country Diaries, and more.
