New Stills Unveiled for K-dramas "Revenant" and "Numbers"

SBS has unveiled new stills from their upcoming drama Revenant featuring Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se. 

Kim Tae Ri takes on the role of Ku San Young, a hardworking student preparing for the civil service exam during the night while juggling part-time jobs during the day. She inherits an heirloom from her late father, Ku Sang Mo (Jin Seon Kyu), which makes her a victim of an evil entity.

Meanwhile, Oh Jung Se portrays Yeom Hae Sang, a folklore professor who has had the ability to see spirits since childhood. Driven by the desire to find the demon who killed his mother, Hae Sang delves deep into folklore and eventually becomes a professor. After years of searching, he finally meets the demon, which now possesses Ku San Young.

The newly released still image captures the pivotal moment when Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se's characters encounter each other through their connection to Jin Seon Kyu.  

Hae Sang knows that a demon possesses San Young and tries to warn her about it. But San Young, burdened by the harsh realities of life, finds it difficult to believe his claims. As the story unfolds, questions arise: Why did Ku Sang Mo leave behind a forbidden and dangerous object for his daughter? How will the divergent perspectives of Ku San Young and Yeom Hae Sang converge to catch the demons? What is the true nature of the demons they are chasing? These mysteries add intrigue and will slowly unfold throughout the drama.

Kim Tae Ri expresses her admiration for Oh Jung Se, referring to him as a "senior actor she admires." She reveals that working with him was a delightful experience, and states that their shared concerns and similar thinking process brought them closer both on and off the set. Oh Jung Se, in turn, praises Kim Tae Ri for her vitality, purity, and passion, noting that her natural acting greatly assisted him in portraying his character. He emphasizes how her ability to authentically convey San Young's human and possessed sides added depth to their scenes together.

Revenant is set to premiere on June 23 on Disney+. 

MBC's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama Numbers is a captivating human office drama. The series revolves around Jang Ho Woo (Kim Myung Soo), a rookie accountant with a high school diploma, who decides to root out corruption from a prominent accounting firm. Although he adheres to the principles of his profession, Ho Woo takes an unconventional path to achieve justice. As the premiere of the K-drama approaches, the newly released stills featuring Kim Myung Soo and Choi Jin Hyuk have been released. 

The recently unveiled stills capture the intense confrontation between the duo. The tension between them is palpable, as evident in their unwavering gazes. The subtle dynamic between Jang Ho Woo and Han Seung Jo, characterized by restraint rather than familiarity, hints at the intriguing beginnings of their extraordinary relationship.

Furthermore, the contrasting temperaments of Jang Ho Woo and Han Seung Jo amplify the excitement surrounding their future collaboration. 

Jang Ho Woo's confident and composed demeanor, unwavering in the face of Han Seung Jo's sharp scrutiny, conveys the charm of his character. Meanwhile, Han Seung Jo radiates an aura of an authoritative man.

The production team commented, "The remarkable chemistry between the two actors, in their first collaboration, is nothing short of astonishing. Ho Woo and Seung Jo's cooperation, how they leverage each other's strengths, and their intellectual battles will be key highlights of Numbers. Numbers is releasing on June 23 on Viki.
