The highly-anticipated K-drama "Kokdu: Season of Deity" premiered on January 27 with an average nationwide rating of 4.8%. The show casts Kim Jung Hyun and Im Soo Hyang as the main leads. "Kokdu: Season of Deity" is a romantic comedy with a fantasy twist to it. Kim Jung Hyun plays the role of a grim reaper Kkok Du who comes to Earth every 99 years to punish humans. Whereas, Im Soo Hyang plays Han Gye Jeol - a doctor from a low-ranking medical school who has mysterious powers that can control Kkok Du. The two cross paths without realizing that they are connected by a tragic past.

The revenge thriller "Payback: Money and Power" achieved its best-ever rating of 11.1% for its 7th episode on January 27. The K-drama made an impressive comeback from last week when it got its lowest-ever rating of 7.1% for its 6th episode. After maintaining a streak of single-digit viewership ratings, the drama has finally broken into double-digit ratings. The show has only five more episodes left till the season's end. Hopefully, the K-drama will continue breaking records. 

"Payback: Money and Power" is a tale of revenge of a group of people who butt heads with a powerful cartel conspiring with the law.
