Girls Generation's Im Yoon Ah may star in a new fantasy K-drama by My Love from the Star director.
On September 24, media outlet OSEN released an exclusive report that Im Yoon Ah will be the next muse of director Jang Tae Yoo in his new K-drama.
Im Yoon Ah's agency shared their response to the reports. According to them, "Im Yoon Ah got the offer to star in the new K-drama A Tyrant's Chef and she is currently reviewing it." Nothing has been finalized yet.
A Tyrant's Chef will focus on the story of a chef who time-traveled to the past while she was at the peak of her career. She meets the worst King who is a great gourmet.
Im Yoon Ah was offered to portray the main lead role, the chef who will time travel and meet the King.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next project directed by Jang Tae Yoo. The director is known for creating the series Knight Flower, Lovers of the Red Sky, Hyena, My Love from the Star, 101st Proposal, and more.
There is no confirmation yet on the broadcast channel and date of the upcoming K-drama A Tyrant's Chef.
If Im Yoon Ah decides to join the upcoming fantasy series, this will be her follow-up K-drama after the hit 2023 series King the Land. She last worked with 2 PM's Lee Jun Ho and showed great chemistry.
