Mixed martial artist Choo Sung Hoon (Akiyama Yoshihiro) will make a special cameo appearance in the ongoing action comedy K-drama Family: The Unbreakable Bond.
On May 1, tvN released the still cuts of Choo Sung Hoon's upcoming special appearance.
Family: The Unbreakable Bond tells the story of a NIS agent husband who disguises himself as an ordinary worker and a sweet and brutal wife who wishes for a perfect family. The tvN K-drama is the work of directors Jang Jung Do, Lee Jung Mook, and writer Jung Yoo Sun.
The ongoing series is led by Jang Hyuk, Jang Na Ra, Chae Jung An, Kim Nam Hee, Lee Soon Jae, and Kim Kang Min.
This will be the comeback of Choo Sung Hoon to K-dramas after eight years. He last appeared in the 2015 series The Time We Were Not in Love.
Choo Sung Hoon has made a special appearance in several K-dramas such as Athena: Goddess of War, A New Leaf, and Triangle. He also participated in the films Detective Chinatown 3, Operation Chromite, and Thrilling Daily Life.

In the still photos, Choo Sung Hoon is seen fighting against NIS Black agent Kwon Do Hoon (played by Jang Hyuk) on a bus. Choo Sung Hoon's character and Kwon Do Hoon are wielding a weapon in a narrow bus.
In another photo, Choo Sung Hoon's character is pointing a gun at Kown Do Hoo causing tension as to what will happen. The stills give tension with Choo Sung Hoon being a threat to Kwon Do Hoon's life.

Family: The Unbreakable Bond airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:40 PM KST. Global viewers can watch the K-drama through Disney+ and TVING.
