Cho Seung Woo is in discussion for his first-ever OTT K-drama project.
On September 11, media outlets reported that Cho Seung Woo will star in the upcoming fantasy action K-drama Donggung. It was also stated that the actor will work alongside the reported main leads Nam Joo Hyuk and Roh Yoon Seo.
Cho Seung Woo's agency Goodman Story Entertainment shared their official statement. According to them, "Cho Seung Woo did receive the offer and the actor is positively reviewing it."
Donggung will tell the story of ghosts that keep on appearing in the palace which is full of deep secrets. A ghost mower and a court lady will sneak into the palace to solve the problem.
According to reports, Cho Seung Woo got the offer to portray the role of the King of the palace.
Donggung will be broadcasted on an OTT streaming platform. There is no confirmation yet on the release date and official platform where it will premiere.
If Cho Seung Woo confirms his casting, this will be his comeback K-drama after almost two years. This will also be his first ever OTT K-drama project since his debut.

Cho Seung Woo was last seen in the 2023 K-drama Divorce Attorney Shin. He worked alongside Han Hye Jin, Kim Sung Kyun, Jung Moon Sung, Kang Mal Geum, and Jeon Bae Soo.
Aside from being an actor, Cho Seung Woo is also active in the musical scene. This coming October, Cho Seung Woo will appear in the musical play Hamlet which will open on October 18 at CJ Towol Theater at the Seoul Arts Center.
