Cute filler show

Umm , this show is strange but in a unique way , it’s also cringe but it in a charming way . I really enjoyed dutifully putting it on everyday after a couple tasks . It’s a really cute filler series as well for when you need a nice fluffy inbetweener or a break from a heavy drama you may have on rotation . Or just a good ole binge . It won’t take long .

The leads have great chemistry and deliver cute performances that make you root for their characters' budding romance. Their on-screen dynamic is filled with charm, and their interactions are both funny and endearing.
This show doesn’t even make sense like how they fell in love sooo unrealistically quickly but I rolled with it unabashedly and SKINSHIP helped too. wink wink

Side bar : sometimes shows are good for the charisma even though they have zero plot and Shanai is such an example.

Love-Love Beam

Shanai Marriage Honey is a Marry First-Date Second RomCom drama. Not only do the MCs look good together but they have great chemistry. A few cute scenes here, one-line swooners there and fluffy moments around the corner, all add to the entertainment of the show. Although there is no primary plot, the audience mainly watch it for the interaction and progression of the couple from getting to know each other as strangers to starting to develop feelings. Being 7 episodes only and 25mins each episode, there are no filler parts and get straight into the scenes. Also there are alot of 'intimate'/flirty scenes, you have been warned.

Quick Story/Plot
Similar to the summary on the MDL Page, the ML and FL decided to do a shotgun marriage due to their own reasons. I don't believe they are under a contract marriage, but after moving in together they started developing feelings for each other and found out that they work at the same company. Then comes the comedy and fluffyness in trying to hide their relationship in the office and getting to know each other better as a married couple off-work. What was also great about the story was that their progression was realistic and often the worries and concerns of the FL are expressed and not drowned out until it's all too late. Communication is key in a relationship and she picks out times to bring out mature topics to discuss for a better married life.

Quick Acting/Cast/Characters
- The FL recently broke up with her boyfriend after finding out he has been cheating on her and decided to marry the ML after a dating app alert. The FL is very friendly and sociable which often makes a lot of the men misunderstand. After marrying, she decided to make the ML fall in love with her.
- The ML is the top salesman in the business and is highly popular. On the day of the wedding, it was love at first 'moment' and later he tries to hide how much he loves the FL. The ML trys to halt the advances of the FL, but everytime, he breaks down to her cuteness when he leaves the room.

Music/OSTs
The OST Playlist is so great and literally a bop when it starts playing during the cute fluffy scenes. Also the starting OST dance was cute too.

Rewatch Value
Would definitely rewatch for the sweet scenes, it is a very short drama and can be binged in 1 night.

Why my rating (10)
Although other reviews say the drama is very conventional and not much depth, the enjoyment I believe is the interaction and progression of the couple. They discuss their feelings and concerns and work together as a married couple to overcome the challenges. Sure, the drama is more on the mature and flirty side, but that is an added bonus ontop. Please give this drama a try as it is really short and well produced. There are candy scenes in every episode and the one-line swooners that make everyone giggle with a grin. It is the only JDrama that I have given a 10 and had me constantly coming back wanting more from the couple.

See, this is interesting.
I'll keep this short and straight to the point because honestly what i want to say isn't much. This review doesnt contain "spoilers" perse but like... whatever I'll just get into it:
This drama is plotless, and it makes absolutely no sense, BUT I LOVE IT!!!!!
ITS SO FLUFFY SO CUTE SO ADORABLE AND LET ME TELL YOU THE ML-- PICTURES DONT DO HIM JUSTICE
and OH MY GOD He is soooo young. A 20 Y.O man- ksghigsigdul
HE reminds me so much of Gordon and Mackenyu ( tho Macken will always be my no.1) BUT I WAS IN LOVE
IT'S JUST LOVE. OVERFLOWING LOVE.
If you want something that wont give you a head or heartache, you know, something sweet and straight to the point and adorable and loveydovey... something that doesnt make sense but still makes you feel so loved and has you squealing every two seconds, then
THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT.

May not be the review you're looking for

This review may just be long overdue. I have finished watching this last year (2020) just thought that leaving this review won't hurt anyone. So here it goes...

If you're looking for something sweet, romantic and you're into "TSUNDERE'' type of MC then this one is for you. The story revolves around this newly married couple that didn't marry for love but found it eventually. It's a "love after marriage" kind of story with Office Romance and misunderstandings. I gave this drama a 8/10 rating as the story line was typical but still good to watch. Although you might already know what's going to happen next, It still has that element of excitement and cuteness.

Not Perfect

Short Drama

PROS:
◇The couple was cute

◇Short drama only 7ep (20-30min)

◇How the leads both apologized often and wanted the other to be happy.

CONS:

◇Wish they focused on getting to know each other a little more before the physical realtionship.

◇Production wasnt great low budget it was 2020.

◇Insta Love through ing the L word only after days of knowing eachother.

◇Wish there were time skips or lapse showing the realtionship grow.

Overall a one time watch for me personally.
PG13 for the married couple realtionship. More then Kdramas less then american shows

Um Jdrama fofo e gostosinho de assistir ??

Comecei a assistir esse jdrama so para passar o tempo enquanto fazia pulseiras (tenho mais costume com a língua japonesa e portanto entendo os diálogos sem precisar ler 100% da legenda) mas foi um achado que vai ficar pra sempre na minha lista de confort tv shows. Esse é aqueles doramas japoneses onde temos alívio cômico, cenas fofas, diálogos apaixonantes e engraçados ao mesmo tempo, casamento por conveniência que se torna amor, não tem brigas, tem diálogo entre os protagonistas, ele é simplesmente um slice of live de um casal recém casado gostosinho de assistir.

Eu super recomendo para quem quiser ver algo leve, romântico, fofo, engraçado e sem brigas ou dramas desnecessários! 🫶🏻

8.5/10 (só não dou 10 pq queria mais episódios)

WATCH WITH CAUTION! MIGHT CAUSE SEVERE CUTE AGGRESSION ❗️❗️❗️

This extremely cute and equally unrealistic short series is made to be watched so you can forget about your own shitty or non existent love life.
The couple gets married on the second time of ever seeing each other and the guy isn’t a serial killer who collects women as wife’s and then killes them. No, here he’s the perfect man that falls in love after meeting her for the first time, treasures and takes care of her in the most beautiful way possible.
Every episode has some conflict that gets resolved in the same episode with… healthy communication… I know, unrealistic 👀 He even wants kids but only when she’s ready because he knows that it’s her body and she has the autonomy to decide when she’s ready…like..can you stop????
Everyone who’s love and touch deprived, watch with caution because this will only add to it. Saying that from my experience.

PARFAIT

The word "parfait" means "perfect" in French, and refers to a sweet dessert in English. This means it fits this very short, VERY sweet Drama "perfectly"

There was really NOTHING wrong with this Drama. Even the length was right. Seven super short episodes was just right for such a frothy, sweet, cute Drama, one with no "drama" in it. No angst, no bitterness, no clouds of darkness, just a sweet cute couple being sweet and cute together. I was originally going to rate it around 8/10 but upgraded it to 9.5 because it is a basically perfect example of a "dessert Drama". If you need a sugar hit, and want one free of toxic chauvinist tropes like tsundere ML gods, this one is just what the doctor ordered

The thing is, this was such a brainless fluff I wish they were more cliche and used more typical rom-com tropes. More pining, more silly jealousy - fill that screen time with more variety of situations, because the second half kind of became repetitive.

That said, the chemistry was amazing. I think my favorite aspect of the show was how the characters were completely different from the initial impression they gave. Miura Manatsu is not this cold and detached dude who is completely not interested in his partner and Haruta Ami is not this innocent pushover. There is a great amount of mutual push and pull and flirting/bickering. The dynamics were great, all thanks to great performances.

I also appreciate how the show put a twist on some characters and their reaction to the relationship - this was refreshing.

Overall, perfect as a palate cleanser between more complex/serious dramas - there to appreciate the romance and give your brain a break.

Tooth ache sweet

This is perfect for when you need a romantic pick me up dopamine supercharge. There were no huge conflicts like the harmful flirting or cheating and no huge arguments it was just straight out, let's love each other from beginning to end! Only down side was it was a bit to Short. And the FL seemed to hide her feelings a bit for the sake of being "cute" they always worked it out in the end tho. Lots of skinship and laughs this will be my go to when I'm in a funky mood and need a quick boost. My review has to be longer but I don't know what else to say.... Both leads were hot and the chemistry was good, I typically like stuff more steamy like S. Dori super seggsy but this wasn't bad either

its short drama,its not boring to watch...i so love it

wahhh it's so cute... it's my first time watching jdrama...and I can say I'm hooked on it...the character the story...even the bed scenes hahahaha..its hotttt ..any recommendation, please?
I've watched over a hundred k drama and more than 50 c drama and as time passed I got suddenly bored and I'm looking for a fresh and not-so-long drama, and guess what?i landed in this drama,and to my surprised I enjoy it,I even got a butterfly in my stomach hahaha..now i have plans in j drama so ill start searching hahaha...
I even remembered the reason why i started watching c drama.its all because of SUNNY HAPPINESS although its a t drama but that was the start...
so I'm looking forward for any j drama recommendation from people in this site...

Enamorado de este drama corto

Puede que tengan algunas quejas de este drama porque no se presenta en ningún momento una oposición a los protagonistas que haga alargar la historia pero personalmente creo que este drama en el momento justo de buscar algo con un amor hermoso, sano y maduro. Este drama, es perfecto.
Hasta el momento cada vez que me cansaba de ver tantos melodramas con familias que se oponen o ex parejas que vuelven a querer causar problemas o estratagemas del mundo empresarial o asesinos en serie o traumas de la niñez, siempre recurría a "touch your heart" que me parece un drama fácil de digerir con grandes actuaciones y un amor sumamente bonito porque aunque ese drama cuenta con un poco de estos clichés era bonito de ver a lee dong wook y yoo in na mostrando la química en pantalla. Eso fue hasta el momento que me recomendaron este drama y no podría estar mas agradecido porque fue un desarrollo de pareja con actores entrañables y actuaciones muy bonitas de ver con 0 toxicidad de la pareja, donde ambos se apoyan y intentan comprender al otro, donde son pacientes con el otro hasta conocerse y dar un amor digno de un enamoramiento real.
Personalmente ame Shanai Marijjihani desde el primer capitulo hasta el ultimo segundo de este porque fue una relación madura de dos personas realmente enamoradas con ambiciones y expectativas pero siempre respetando, confiando y apoyándose en su otra mitad.
El nivel de trauma que me dejo ver tantos dramas que en cada momento cuando aparecía un personaje nuevo o alguien decía algo de manera ambigua en cámara yo pensaba "oh no ahora se van a interponer en la pareja" o "van a querer hacerlo/a sentir mal" pero no este es un drama hermoso y sanador para estos traumas, es una pausa entre tantas cosas malas y si estan como yo hasta empezar a verlo, se los recomiendo muchísimo
