Imperfect and cute
What a rollercoaster of emotions this show was! First I was sceptical of their relationship because of how it all started. I also didn't like the fact that it wasn't really addressed as much as I wanted it to be.Then again if I put that aside, there were so many things I did like about the show. For example the chemistry between Vee and Mark was spot on. I hope they make a lot of shows in the future.
I liked the side characters as well and I really hope they redo their shows as they did with Love Mechanics. I haven't seen the ones that were made before but lots of people on here said that this is definitely an upgrade. So watch this one!

Not for me but great acting
I don’t regret watching it and it’s about what I expected from a drama about infidelity. Honestly, I can handle angst but I do get frustrated with angst when it’s due to miscommunication. Like y’all, stop moping about and playing games and just TALK. It would save so much time. Was pretty intrigued until about midway through when the same drama just began to repeat over and over.
That being said, I actually did think the main characters were well written. Especially Vee, if I’m looking at it objectively. He’s a really complicated individual, in that, he’s not really a bad person but he’s also not a good person. You can see good qualities in him, which I feel is what Mark chose see in him, but he’s also selfish and immature.
Really great acting from the leads in this, especially Mark. I never watched the original En Of Love series but I instantly remembered people talking about how one of the actor’s was the break out actor of the original series, and I could tell instantly tell it was him.
Anyway, I did finish it, which means at the very least it wasn’t boring. Probably wouldn’t recommend it to a friend unless they were specifically looking for angst.

A realistic example of enemies to lovers relationship
This series is a great model of what a professional boyslove drama is.Actually, there are a lot of interesting points in this series which make it kinda special among the other bl dramas you can watch..
The fact that each character is important because they make each other ones evolve in their own life is pretty accurate and that’s why this series is so realistic.
On my first time watching this show, I didn’t really like the character of Nuea because I felt like he was too involved in the life of Mark and it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.. But after rewatching it, I think he is one of my favourite characters because of that actually.. His character shows a side of people in love’s personality that is obviously relatable in real life.. Moreover, I assume that is way of thinking is the healthiest among all of the other character’s mindset.
The other character that I wanted to talk about is Mark.. I despite the fact that he eventually forgave Vee, but in the other hand I understand his choice because of his personality.. The actor War who played his role is so talented in every aspects, and is able all along the story to make the audience feels his character’s emotions and troubles..
Finally, I wanted to highlight an honorable mention to the actress who played Vee’s ex girlfriend, because she made me appreciate her, then pity her, then hate her and eventually forgive her.. Her acting was so good and I think everyone can tell.
Concerning the story, I think it portrays quite well how a toxic (at least in the beginning) but deep love relationship can occur and even if there’s some lack in the plot (like the fact that some side characters aren’t enough developed or else), the story is still great and not unreasonable.
In my opinion, the chosen ost were really useful and absolutely not meaningless, especially during the lovely and unhappy scenes..
In a nutshell, this BL series is a must to watch if you want to have some experience in the field, and it wouldn’t seem ludicrous if you want to watch it as a first BL to lay the foundations of your new trip in the world of the boysloves :)

YinWar makes this good
Honestly, the reason I love it so much is because of War. This man takes you on a journey with his acting. Yin improved quite a bit from the first rendition, but War exceeded what I expected from him. I love how he’s able to act with his eyes. The expressions he makes to convey marks feelings in every scene. How he was able to make you cry and laugh with him. I could honestly go on for hours talking about this man’s talent. The story line is frustrating as heck. And can feel a little drawn out at points. But getting to see the full spectrum of mark and vees feelings/moments, it’s worth it. You see them as enemies, you see the shyness and flirting, the anger and jealousy, the pain and suffering, the seduction and spicy scenes lol. Finally the loving and caring moments.
This series is in my top 10 for sure! I’ve already rewatched it twice( considering how many Bl series are airing rn that I’m keeping up with, twice is pretty good 😂)

It was good
I liked the main characters of this series, not only were they good looking but they had chemistry. However I feel like they could have done more, the series was just too plain and didn’t really have any interesting plot other than the cheating which didn’t take long to resolve as well.I would like to see these actors in a different series and plot, I felt like Mark had a more playboy and cold demeanor then Vee and I look forward to seeing their roles switched.
On the other hand i felt both of their emotions just felt like things weren’t as serious as it was made out to be and the story just had one problem from the beginning to the end.
Nevertheless I still enjoyed it

Wish granted and then some!
We got a 4 episode series of the same title in 2020, with mostly the same cast and this left us wanting, no, needing more. These 4 episodes will hence forth be treated as extended preview and this series of 10 full episodes (first 3 eps also available in Director's Cut) will be the OG. I was so looking forward to this one and I was totally hooked from the first second. The chemistry between the leads is off the charts, even more than in the extended preview. The drama has been taken down a tiny notch, but the butterfly dial has been cranked up to the max. There were some humorous scenes added and parents that are more relatable than before, Ploy is very likeable and I even felt sorry for her, although the way both she and Vee handled things is stil annoying af. But hey, we need at least some drama, right haha. Some scenes made me actually squeal in joy or burst out laughing. The sass of both of them, but mostly Mark is amazing. The murderous looks he gives Vee are hilariously scary. The heart eyes they give each other are next level lovey-dovey.I could have done with a little less obvious tropes, but the execution of these is so good, it is only mildly annoying. I pity Nuea, who seems such a great guy who just came along too late. The scene of him comforting Mark while they both cry is so touching. There are many iconic scenes in this series, not the least of which is the end scene. I cheered when I saw Mark come out from behind that curtain... I will not spoil any more. Just know you will absolutely not regret binging this one.

The love was a frustrating one.
As one that's new to the BL world, Love mechanics was one of the first BLs that I watched and honestly speaking I wasn't really feeling it from the start but I got to love it sm. Especially War. I really love War's acting skills and I believe that I finished the series just coz he was in it. I almost dropped the series coz of my frustration from vee but Omo like I said i just couldn't stop watching it😂🤚🏽 the chemistry between Vee and Mark. Is what kept me going, I'm awaiting their next project with excitement!!!!I might rewatch it again just coz wanna see my Baby Mark's cute but hot body again but like who knows🤭 I definitely recommend you to watch Love mechanics! It's one of the best BLs this year❤️✨

Odd plot with amazing acting and chemistry
Gonna start by saying that I really did not enjoy the idea of the series and frankly only watched it for Yinwar. Cheating is such an odd plot point to base a romance around and the thing is... I actually hate how much I liked this show for the simple fact that the idea is so horrendous. It took a lot for me to not think about how messed up the entire start of Vee and Mark's relationship was, especially because they were so so cute together. If the actual plot was literally anything else, this show would've very very easily have been an 11 star show.Things I liked:
Chemistry - For watching this show for Yinwar, I can say that I was certaintly not disappointed by their chemistry. They were absolutely amazing and their scenes together felt magical and real. It's a shame it was wasted on Mark basically being a side chick for the beginning of the show. If you can look over or not think about that, then it's truly enjoyable
Consistency - I liked how they kept going back to small details, as odd as it sounds. It made it feel a little more real and put a smile on my face. (Ex: the white bridge and the rooftop) I feel like it's tiny things like that that can make the show just a little better
Things I didn’t like:
Cheating plot - I almost had to stop watching for the simple fact of what the heck is this plot? I think this may be top ten worst things to base a couple around, and the thing is, they did it in the worst way too. While I think in general its a bad plot idea, I think you can also make it work, but this show really didn't. It felt like nobody really thought that Vee and Ploy cheating on each other was a big deal. For dating for 3 years, Vee really didn’t act guilty for cheating on her, especially right after he did it, since he kept wanting to mention it to Mark. I feel like it's so unrealistic, and that's what made it even worse.
Drunk nc scene - The very first scene frankly really put a bad taste in my mouth because it almost felt like assault, and it honestly mightve been. They were definitely both drunk, but do I think that Vee was conscious enough to not sleep with a very clearly blacked-out drunk man who even mistakes him for someone else? Yes, especially because of his reaction towards what they did the next morning, which really pissed me off as well.
Overall: Its not the worst show I've ever watched and I actually really enjoyed it after basicslly getting over the first like 4 or so episodes. I also think that if it wasn't for Yinwar, I would've dropped it 2nd episode. Some parts of the series were extremely questionable and unrealistic, but I think their chemistry and their relationship in the end makes up for it.

Forbidden fruits is always the sweetest
Just like the headline forbidden fruits is always the sweetest really suits this drama..i really love this series but in the same time hate it too..because all the sweetness came from all the wrongs..The opening of the series are already on the bad side where mark slept with someone who already have a girlfriend...and also in the same time shows how vee does not stand firm to his relationship as he get easily seduced by mark...but damn!! The chemistry of these two leads is a whole other level they just gives you butterflies after each frustrations...like they keep on playing with your emotion making you completely hooked to them...like you wanna hate them for being unloyal and stuffs but they do it so good that you actually ends up loving it instead...they gave you the feeling of frustrations on how indicisive vee can be and how mark keeps on falling for vee despite knowing the fact that vee having a gf and still he cant control his feeling and became more and more selfish as he wanted vee for himself yet you cant stay frustrated at them because once they show the sweet side of their relationship you just cant help but get butterflies and be sweep off of your feet...like damn...and the story lines, the progression of the series from hate to love is just so greatly executed...it does not feel rushed at all even though there are so many things happening but it really didnt felt rushed everything was perfectly timing and done. This drama at a first glance or based on just the synopsis are so clichè like you can already expect what need to be expected..but as you watch it you dont even realized how clichè it was anymore you just totally forgot about the synopsis you read because they will make you focus only on them and their chemistry and their stories. I just love this drama...if you want something that is intensed ,a roller coaster ride but fun one and heartbreaking but still sweet and romantic with a happy end then this is a series that you have to put on your list. 😘

The actors carried the show
This remake is faaaaaar superior to the original En of Love: Love Mechanics that came out in 2020, which was a follow up to Tossara. The original had restraints with limited episodes and resources. So, this remake had an advantage. Of course there are many differences, but the general plot thred remained relatively the same for both versions. I’m pointing this out because quite frankly the plot sucks and annoyed me so much that it was excruciating to watch the original version. So, I had bias coming into this. Yet with the remake, the main leads and their chemistry had me hooked. I was still annoyed by the plot and the unnecessary wedges created between the 2 leads amongst other issues. For example the issue with consent is still here and it didn’t make sense how Ploy is getting the brunt of the shame when Vee also cheated on her. But besides all that, the lead actors made the show watchable for me to the point where I actually enjoyed it which is saying a lot since the original version was so bad. I was truely astounded by their performance and at times it left me in awe. Both actors deserve to be casted in another project with a better script. It makes me sad that their talents aren’t being fully maximized because of how bad the plot is. It still boggles my mind that I enjoyed this drama. It really exemplifies how crucial casting is because both these actors made something out of nothing and I hope they get recognition.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
Worth It
After the og mini-series where Vee was an irredeemable piece of garbage I was very worried going into this. I wasn't sure how they would tell that same story and end with me not hating him.But they did! Don't get me wrong, I did absolutely hate him at times. He had a LOT to improve, but they had his growth be well earned and well established. Mark obviously had his issues, but overall is such a lovely boy who I would die for. Seriously, he's so cute. And I really couldn't stop smiling at the end.
I can't give the most adequate review since I took a 3 month break between episodes 9 and 10 (for no reason) but as I just finished it, I can say that the ending is stellar. It makes all the angst feel worth it, and the characters all come around to being very lovable and beautiful. I especially loved the story with the parents.
There were a lot of frustrating moments in this show, but War and Yin did a fantastic job where I couldn't help but love them. It was well worth the wait, because I had high hopes for the mini-series and wished it could have been better because of the potential the two had to make a great couple. This series is that potential fully realized.

I don't usually write reviews, but...
I have to give an applause to the actors. Although the story is something we've probably all seen before many times and it gets frustrating here and there, the actors make it so entertaining to watch that I'll gladly go through all the pain again. Especially the main couple impressed me. Whatever emotions the characters were going through, I was going through it with them. Both of the actors did a great job and the series wouldn't be as strong as it is without them.I also really enjoyed all the side characters and how (honestly kinda strangely and unrealistically) nice everyone turned out to be, and that there wasn't too much "sauce" around. Sometimes there's too much focus on the supporting storylines that it takes away from the main one but here it was a perfect amount for me.
Also, War could narrate a book and I'd listen to it every night before sleep. I found his voice so soothing that I was kicking my blanket whenever he had a longer dialogue.
