When I found out that Filipino stars Emilio Garcia, Marco Morales and Paolo Rivero are playing supporting roles, I didn't hesitate for a second. The Philippines is special in itself, surrounded on all sides by other religions, customs, names, and it is also special in filmmaking, indigestible for many Europeans. The understanding of eroticism and sex and the view of it is completely different. The film certainly does not belong to the top of Filipino production, because I am generally very interested in Pinoy films, however, looking at the film through Filipino eyes, it caught my attention, even if some moments seemed rather funny instead of dramatic, and I recommend the film only to a small group of viewers who understand the mentality and creation of this country
