Mais um Boys Love que não entra no conceito

Lamentável, mas este é mais um BL que não entra no meu conceito, e aqui o motivo é mais simples, existe nitidamente uma falta de conexão entre os atores que fazem o papel principal. Outro ponto que percebi acompanhando a série até agora é a razão é que às vezes Natsukawa age um pouco demais como um gato assustado, como quando ele quase (não) entra no restaurante, quando ele derrama a bebida, etc. Tudo bem não ficar confortável, mas ser tão constrangido ao ir sair para comer algo me parece problemático, e não, isso não faz parte da cultura japonesa, o que poderia ser para muitos uma justificativa. Normalmente, isso é possível conferir nos sites e outras plataformas, os BL’s que mais chama atenção são os que, atores se comunicam muito bem na atuação, uma história bem objetiva (enredo e roteiro), e personagens que conseguem cativar de modo geral seus fãs.

Unfortunately i did not like this drama. I am a person who loves - romantic dramas and love write good reviews.

I usually complete a drama before commenting. Somehow this drama did not get me... I watched only 6 episodes and got so bored to death with a typical lala land romance and felt didn't want to continue it so I decide to drop the series without even to curious about the next remaining episodes.

The humor in the series was entertaining but there is nothing to gain and the story seems so dull and only a common love story. Not sure why this drama has high ratings. Sadly this is not my cup of tea :(

Dumb in the best possible way!

This drama has been a very fulfilling experience from beginning to end. Show of the year so far! A list of amazing elements:
- The pilot episode: Hear me out, every kdrama so far for me has been a struggle to get into. No pilot episode by itself has ever held my attention the way this one did. KHY’s acting alone in the first episode was enough to pull me in. They did an Excellent job on writing the best pilot episode in the entire dramaland!
- Excellent FL! One of the best FL’s I’ve ever seen in a kdrama. She’s brave, determined abd puts him first almost everytime. Also, the actress is incredibly entertaining and has the most cheerful temperament. She’s a delight to watch!
- A ML who is worth all of the struggles! Sun Jae(a)… is sweet, shy, caring (the whole list of positive adjectives lol), but also kind of an idiot/loser in front of Im Sol. He truly brings life to the show with his smile and infectious energy. (And his ‘aggressive’ kissing scenes ?)
- Usually I’m not the most interested in romantic shows, but this is certainly Romance done right! They’re overly cute, but when you consider the timelines and everything they went through, the cuteness/aegyo makes sense!
- The supporting cast (In Hyuk, grandma, Kim Tae Sung, mom, dad, manager) were all perfect in their respective roles. All of the supporting cast had their own mini story, and a purpose in the plot, which is refreshing since they weren’t simply adding pointless characters.
- The music/orgininal soundtrack from “Eclipse” charted for real in Korea, since that’s how amazing it is!
- Exceptional acting from all of the actors, but especially from BWS as this is his first large scale male lead role!
A few cons (unfortunately!) :
- I liked the best friend, but in the early episodes Im Geum and her story was the only parts I forwarded in the show. It didn’t hold my attention, seemed a little pointless, and it kind of made me cringe. (Like them happily married with kids in the future though!)
- Plot holes: regardless of how interesting or amazing the show is, it has quite a few plot holes. In one of the early episodes Sun Jae says “I would have still done swimming at 19 even if I knew how it would turn out.” That made me so sure he knew what was going on, or time travelled as well. Since the original webtoon has that story, perhaps they planned for it but changed it after? It was just a little strange that the ML ended up being more of Mary Sue character (very iconic lol) despite multiple parts that make you believe he knows what’s going on.
The time travel has some issues as well with timelines not matching up and some stuff they missed. Sun Jae’s unexplored depression and Sol’s disability were kind of pointless at the end and should’ve been explored more.
I’m not usually the person to say this, but there’s enough sadness and social commentary in real life. I like the idea of the leads having a miserable fate and a fun adventure which leads to a way happier ending. Ultimately, it’s good, direction, acting, singing, so I can overlook the writing here because of the joy these dumb characters bring. And the show is worth more than 1 watch, which isn’t something I’ve felt about any show before!

Wholesome

I have been starting many shows and dropping them after 1 episode but this one caught my interest. I looked up the plot and realized that it has 50 episodes,I thought of not watching but idk I just wanted to give it a try. It did not disappoint me at all. However, I'd say if you don't like family drama and only wants to see the FL and ML then this might not be for you. This gave me the old kdrama kinda Vibe.The actors are very good and my favorite is the youngest child he is so adorable. It's very fast paced and binge worthy.
It might not be very aesthetically pleasing like the usual ones we see but trust me it's very wholesome.I'll add this into my comfort watch because I'm really enjoying the whole plot.Its going good so far and the storyline is not dragging.
Give it a try if you want to watch something that is family oriented and very wholesome

Started on a high note but..

The first few episodes were good and created a curiosity about the characters' stories. Episode 3 climax was also interesting as I thought that finally the good lawyer will team up with devil to take out the devil instead of being straightforward.. He hardly says it that the crash happens. And then he dies???? What the! I was hoping to see how they team up and win so this was an anti-climax. Also, had high hopes for Yoo Jae-myung after his performances in Itaewon and Stranger so this seems like a wasted opportunity especially after his almost equal presence in the first 3 episodes!! Another untapped charatcter- Yang Kyung-won from CLOY. Disappointed. Now, I have to put up with a over the top female lead trying to do what I am not sure, her silly ass intern, slow motion and opera music, the main character being stylish from a 100 different angles! Zzzzzzzzzzzzz... Predictable how this will turn out.. I am dropping out. No thanks!

Over the top girl

Strong Girl bong soon introduced me to k dramas was great romance innocence and of course funny storyline with drama had everything. I know Nam-soon as i write this is only ep2 but im disappointed weak storyline not even funny its lost its way. i be a bit unfair and hopefully it will improve later and i can give a better review but so fair its dying a deah to me if i had watch this as a first intro to kdramas i would have given up on them an miss a lot of dramas that i now love. Like i say im hoping for improvement as i was eagerly awaiting this title like everyone has strong bongsoonis still my favourite kdrama and my go to feel good show. heres hoping it gts better.

FROM START TO NOW EP 42, I DONT MIND ALL THE BORING PARTS LIKE THE AUNTIES DANCING ETC. ALSO EVEN IF I AM ANGRY WITH THE THE 2ND FEMAILE LEAD FOR WANTING TO SEDUCE BO HAI, BUT THE MOST ANGRY IS WHEN THE FEMALE LEAD DECIDED ON HER OWN TO BE THE HERO TO SAVE BO HAI USING HER OWN SACRIFICE BUT ACTUALLY IS LETTING PPL USE HER TO HURT BO HAI. JUST FEEL SHE IS SO STUPID. AFTER SEEING THIS I JUST CANNOT STAND HER ANYMORE BECOS SHE BELIEVE IN THE DEVIL (MO NAN). SHE THOUGHT BECOS SHE DO WHAT THE DEVILS ASK HER TO DO SHE CAN SAVE BO HAI. SERVE HER RIGHT FOR LOSING HIM .

AS I HAVEN WATCHED TO THE END, BUT I SUSPECT THIS MO NAN IS ALSO BEING DECEIVED BY THE OTHER DEVIL (WILLIAM). PROBABLY HIS FATHER KILLED BY THE WILLIAM.

HAVEN WATCH TO THE END , HEARD THE ENDING NO SO TERRIFIC ALSO. WILL UPDATE AGAIN AFTER WATCHING THE ENDING. ALSO OF COURSE I HATE THE 2ND MALE LEAD AND THE FEMALE 2ND LEAD , MALE BECOS HE IS EVIL AND FEMALE BECOS SHE KNOWS HE IS EVIL BUT STILL WANT TO SYMPATHISE WITH HIM.

ALSO WATCHING BECOS OF BO HAI, FROM THE COLD TO THE WARM AND BECOS OF COURSE LOVE HIS LOOKS AND ACTING.

Typical and mediocre shonen anime...

Oh boy, let me tell you about this series. No matter how much the enemy flexes their muscles, how invincible they seem, or how high their rank is, the main character always manages to beat them in the most ridiculous and absurd way possible. And how does he do it, you ask? With some conveniently-timed training, of course, guided by a grandmaster who's conveniently trapped in a magical ring with all sorts of sweet relics and powers. Oh, and did I mention that this ring was just conveniently passed down to the main character by his mom? Talk about some serious plot convenience.

Now, I'm not saying it's a crime for the main character to always win, but come on, can't we have some unpredictability in this show? I mean, half the time the training sessions are way more epic and intense than the actual fights. And don't even get me started on some of the character's skills, like flying, which the main character conveniently forgets about until he's about to get his butt kicked. Classic.

And let's not forget about the main character's mysterious seductive charm, which seems to make every female character swoon over him or become somehow related to him. It's almost like the other characters in the show only exist to make the main character look good and show off how strong and badass he is. But hey, who needs character development and depth when you've got an overpowered protagonist with a convenient training routine and a magical ring?

Really want to like it but it was just too slow and confusing for me

I really wanted to like Psych-Hunter (2020). It has the mystery, thriller, action, adventure, investigation, bromance, and romance. Plus the three leads have good chemistry and are not annoying. But it was just so freaking confusing and slow. I gave up during the 6th case: Game of death. I was just so confused with what was happening in that case that I skipped to the part where one of the main characters EXPLAINED to the other main character what the heck happened during the case. Like thanks for the recap, but it still didn’t make sense or make it any better. Skipped to the last episode and like everything was in Jiang Shuo‘s head???

I didn’t not sign up to work that hard to understand this drama. I thought it was going to be a fun crime solving drama with a dash of fantasy, not a head scratcher. Dropped it after watching 16 out of 36 episodes.

1) The way this series picturized is very soothing to eyes
2) The way actors playing roles is the perfect casting according to the story
3) The scenes are very natural with 0 akwardness?
4) There is no back story ( as like some bl dramas contain some lagging and unnecessary trauma?)as we can see they are childhood friends.Lol?
5) the location and places where this series shooting has done a wonderful job in selecting these places for their story to look tooo natural
5a) the chemistry between actors is also soo good
6) If you see first episode of this series i can gaurantee you that you will wait for next episode

Home is Where Family Is

What is it like to be in a different country living another person's life for 72 hours? Overwhelming, I guess, when every turn you make comes as a surprise. So far, I am loving the show. Park Bogum's experience was absolutely overwhelming that left me in awe because of the emotional roller coaster he felt for the entire 72 hours. Myungsoo's "life" was funny and heart-warming. Of course, there is no place like home but they found a "home" in a country that was unfamiliar to them. Personally, family is most important and this show touched this subject in a different way that you hesitate at first and go with the flow in the next few minutes until you see yourself feeling the way "Garbiel" does. I love it. I hope people get to watch this as well.

Not dropping it yet..........but its close

Lets first start by saying the acting is great. I have liked Shawn Dou for a while but never seen the female lead, Chen Du Ling in anything before. She was pleasant surprise but I feel could have been more so if the script had let her be. Which leads me to my main problem so far with the show and the reason I am struggling to keep watching. Although I am not dropping it yet its a close run thing at times.

Call me silly if you like but after 16 episodes I expect some type of character development in the main leads. Our ML, the third Master Bei Chen has had alot of character development. He began as a irresponsible playboy and has become a high ranking soldier who who is more than capable of using his mind to stand up not only to the warlords of the era but also protect his family. However the same can not be said for the FL Hang Jing, which is were the drama gets annoying.

Hang Jing joined Bei Chen's family when the show began as her father and his were good friends. Hang Jing's father has basically treated her as his own daughter for years, and yes she did get bullied by the ML and his sister early on which didn't leave a good impression, but the FL has always had a sense of 'i know what's right and no one else does' about her. She even allowed the very family who had protected her for years to get in serious trouble because she was protecting a rebel friend of hers who tried to kill someone in their house! Then when she found out the ML had gotten into serious trouble for rescuing her she instead chose to trust the rebel, who she knows is lying to her, over the man who has done nothing but protect her. where is the logic? Plus she says she will take responsibility for her actions but only wants to do so on her own terms, that isn't taking responsibility! The girl has not moved forwards in 16 episodes, very short-sighted and only thinks about her own needs, constantly getting people around her in trouble and seemingly not bothered that she does until she is forced to face it, even then she faces it as least as possible. Over all the actor is good but the character is not likable and has had no growth.

The costumes and the cinematography are great in this show, so are the actors. But the one badly written lead serves to uproot the whole drama if it isn't solved soon.
