it has very sweet romantic moments but also some sad moments. The man is very cool towards the girl. The girl Mi Young is very clumsy and not smart nor beautiful. But she falls in love with the CEO Lee Gun. In the beginning she has to marry this man because of an accident she becomes pregnant of him. It's also very funny. The series gives a similar feeling as It Started with a Kiss.

If you're looking for a different story with a similar feeling and great chemistry between the actor and actress. Then go for this Korean Drama!!!

I am surprised no other recommendations for this. If you preferred the love story when they were younger but not of the main leads but girl with the step brother than this is the drama for you.i watched tree of heaven first so I didn't get the connection but I think tree of heaven was made with these 2 specific characters in mind or maybe they wanted this actress and actor they did have great chemistry in stairway to heaven. The younger couple. And tree of heaven was released 3 yrs later.. ..Both just tearjerkers. Oops ok I just saw others did recognize the 2 drama similarities.

Both refer to people who enter a criminal band as an undercover!
Cruel City is more professionally-made as a crime drama but both are woth watching !

While Mask is a deep melodrama, Goong is just a typical romcom.
But still they have some commons:
- Ji Hoon as male lead
- A contract marriage, where the guy cant the girl, his wife, at the beginning and is mean to her
- A female lead, who comes from a poor family and just married into a rich family to help her own family out of financial issues
...both dramas are defintely worth watching.

The older woman x younger man plot is what connects these dramas.
