being a mobster is forever

I don't know what other people were expecting for the last episode, however, it was consistent with the reality of a mobster. a mobster will never stop being a mobster unless he makes a big deal with the government and the justice (which is very rare, actually). still, they are in danger of being killed. so it’s more advantageous to stay in the mafia. with that in mind, it is more than reasonable for Vincenzo to stay in another country and find a way to tell Hong Cha Young that he likes her and that he expects her to visit. more than that would be very illusory. I liked that they leave open the possibility of a second season, which may well be possible. I will not comment on the fight and flight scenes because since the beginning of the series, almost all of them are unrealistic. but it is acceptable the way an Italian mobster was portrayed, after all, it is a drama, lol. and, as someone of Italian descent, I can say that I loved this drama. there is nothing that has offended me. I also loved the performance of Song Joong Ki, which I didn't know before (yes, I never saw Descendants of the Sun and I don't believe I will have the patience to watch it, lmao).

it is simply indescribable the feeling of watching Choi Myung Hee, that b*tch, in a panic right after threatening another person. family is something sacred, so the price to be paid must be the highest. I can't wait for the next episode.

hilarious TOP and predictability

[warning: spoilers ahead, don't read if you don't want to know what other people are thinking about the plot of the series)ok, this episode was a little hilarious due to the TOP character. i loved seeing him acting again. i found some of his lines quite ironic. i hope SK swallows his character without complaining, lolabout the episode itself: there is predictability and that is a bit discouraging. if the police officer's brother lost a wife because he didn't have someone compatible to donate organs, then it makes sense, in an attempt to revenge mixed with justice, to create a black market for obtaining organs, which is what they do with those who die in the games. i found this possibility very predictable, so i hope to be surprised in the next episodes. btw, the reason the boss spared his brother, the police officer, makes more sense now.besides, the NK girl is just a b7tch. the series makes us feel sorry for her at the beginning, but she is just a bad person with no scruples. so she makes a lot of money by killing others? ok, i hope she dies in the end.

i loved that episode 1 is all about gong yoo's character. i liked that they didn't take his story forward, i don't see the need to try to humanize a clearly psychopathic character.

As a super fan of the original American series, Jane The Virgin, I couldn't help but compare the two versions. In the Korean version, I thought they made a good adaptation. The original series has a super crazy script (it's mostly a satire of latin melodramas), so I think it can be difficult to understand all this craziness in the first episode in an adapted way. I loved Woori's mother, she has the right tone of the character, and I think Woori's grandmother promises more than what was presented in this first episode (I was super curious how they would portray the two). They maintained the Catholic Christian character of the series, which is fundamental as a backdrop to Woori's choice of chastity and how it relates to her mother's story and her grandmother's. Woori's boyfriend is also being similarly portrayed, right to the point. And LOVED that they kept Raphael's name! hahahah The order of facts and some relationships are in another order in this version, but nothing that spoils or completely changes the central story of the series. And I also expect a lot from the character who plays the gynecologist. The actress did very well, but I imagine that they will give another background to her story. Anyway, I'm super excited lol. Despite the frenetic pace, the first chapter was very good! ^^

This was a drama with a linear plot and very coherent. I loved the acting of the actors, in particular Kim Jae Wook. He has a really good comedic performance in a subtle way. I was afraid the authors would spoil the story at the end, but I found it very cohesive. There is a redemption of the main character, Noh Go Jin. It ends up being much more complex than that superficial image of a cold person that passed in the first few chapters. I also liked that Lee Shin A shows a strong personality until the last chapter, going to work in the competing company. From a completely toxic and abusive duo (in the boss and employee relationship), they become a very healthy couple, supporting each other. I also liked that they gave Oh Se Gi a bigger base. Maybe the pacing at the end was too fast, but nothing that spoiled the plot totally. It's a very fun and unrealistic series, initially reinforcing abusive behavior that should never be normalized (in real life, an employee should never accept bad treatment like Lee Shin did, let alone get revenge, let alone relate to the abusive ex-chef, but ok, this is just a drama and we are here to get out of reality hahaha). By the way, The Devil Wears Prada's influence is absolutely clear here. In the first two chapters, there are almost identical scenes of the relationship between the boss and the secretary. I really liked this reference, because I really like the mentioned movie. Anyway, it's a very light and fun drama that in the end brings redemption to the characters and reinforces good behavior, something completely opposite to the first chapters, lol. I loved it and will definitely see it again in a few years, hahaha

I think the writers managed to make a good penultimate episode. Normally tv dramas don't stay good at the end and I think this one still manages to have a surprise factor as ML's ex-fiancee can still do something.

lol just ridiculous

the last episode is just ridiculous. it took the screenwriter of this shitty overrated drama 3 years to write a sequel as rubbish as this? the only good thing about season 2 is that they introduce us to gong yoo's character a little better and then end it with him. that alone has value in this sequel. this series is ridiculous. is it a boring analogy that no one gets the system? we already know this...

the scriptwriter can even try but there is…

the scriptwriter can even try but there is no way to humanize or justify what anyone behind the scenes of the game does. the NK girl won't be any less evil if she acts leniently and kills people before they have their organs removed while they're still alive. so, squid game is basically a way that the boss found to find organs and, in order not to feel guilty about what he does, he chooses people who have no scruples, who go to the limit and who show their worst. that doesn't make what everyone who kills does, what the boss does, any less culpable. this is practically a game played by a psychopath who thinks he is God, while everyone who obeys orders is broken inside.

Now it is possible to understand the possible reason why the ex-wife made the request she made... It's impressive to see ML's emotional fragility.

Just love it. I was about to give up on this drama, but this episode convinced me to keep watching. I died of embarrassment at the various scenes of FL being enchanted by the new client, the scenes were hilarious! LOL

i really appreciated the fact that FL acknowledged what she felt, expressed what she felt, and took the initiative to kiss. things would be much easier if we could act like this.
