The cutest, fluffiest little rom-com ♡

For a one-episode drama special that is one hour long, this was so enjoyable and so, so adorable. I was giggling and smiling like an idiot, kicking my feet while trying not to wake the whole house up because it was way past midnight here. Why are they so cute omg!? I saw an edit of this today and as soon as I realised that it was Kim Do Hoon from Moving and saw that it was a rom-com special about two genius rivals, I decided to watch it. BEST DECISION EVER!!

It was like watching a short campus rom-com movie, it had everything: the enemies to lovers, she fell first but he fell harder, college rivals, funny moments, and cute (almost cringe at times lol) and romantic moments, the whole episode was so nicely written. Seriously, I never rewatch anything, and never dramas, apart from some of my absolute comfort movies or Korean variety shows, but I could rewatch this again any day, whenever I feel like not watching anything from my list or when I can't find anything to watch. Perfect for an evening when you want a break from your current watching or on-air dramas, this has all the elements not to get you bored, it's cute and funny, and the actors have amazing chemistry. That kiss omg I don't think I ever jumped and giggled this much at a kiss scene before lol, that took me so by surprise lol, just the funniest scene ever!! Although the whole fake love confession plan was silly and childish from the male lead's side, both leads were smart and relatable, they were in two very different but similar situations and the message at the end was perfect. As a student myself, this really resonated with me and really gave me a little boost, so I loved it even more. It was a relatable message offered to us as viewers in the form of a cute little love story.

I 100% recommend this to everyone, and I hope everyone watching it enjoys it cos it is so fluffy and doesn't overthink it. This made my whole week, I honestly can't wait to rewatch it lol ♡

I'M GONNA MISS THEM SO MUCH :(

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't think I'd watch this at first but then after I knew about Kim Jung-hyun's cameo I had to watch it because of the tragic ending for Seo Ji Hye and him in CLOY.

The drama was sweet haha, in the sense that it's a feel-good 'summerish' drama and I loved it. Been watching this religiously every week as it came and this is such a pleasure to watch. Lightweight and funny. I loved the ML's chemistry and I loved their characters too. But especially WOO DO-HEE PD-nin, she’s just amazing. I don’t think I've ever liked a FL as much as her (maybe IU in Hotel del Luna? And maybe now So Yea Ji in It's Okay Not To Be Okay?) AND KIM HAE-KYUNG, that adorable yet sexy human omg, it was my first drama of the actor and he was really good. But also let's not forget about our KEANU and 'JENNIFER' (sorry, I call her like that after 'Thirty but Seventeen', that name suites her so much haha), they were absolutely adorable and that funny music that used to come every time there was scene with them killed me all the time.

This is a must watch for those who want a little break from all the somehow complicated dramas we had this year but honestly for everyone. This drama offers everything: a good laugh, some dark and heavy topics such as psychological issues, romance, friendship, and really good supporting cast.

The OST was also really good tbh, I listen to the song often. I rarely rewatch dramas, hence the 5 but ignore that and know that this drama came as a surprise and filled my heart with happiness.

I really enjoyed watching this.

WILL BE THINKING ABOUT THEM FOR A LONG TIME ⯎

I have no words to describe this feeling, but Twinkling Watermelon is one of the best things that I happened to watch this year. This and Moving got me out of a horrible drama slump, the kind where you want to watch something so much but you still can't manage to focus on anything.

I recommend Twinkling Watermelon to everyone, it is such a perfect and comforting drama. The cast is simply amazing, Hyun Wook is, at this point, the king of high school roles in 90's youth dramas, it's like this boy was created to play soft but cool high school boys, it suits him so well. But it is beautiful to see how all of these roles are different and how he can give layers and emotions to different characters. He still shows so much variety. Ryeoun is so talented and is such a pleasure to watch always, I love his acting so much. They were so perfect in their roles that I cried and laughed with Yi Chan and Eun Gyeol.

I loved every single character from the Watermelon Sugar members and Ma Joo to Yi Chan's grandma. Cheong Ha made me cry so much but I am so happy for her growth and empowerment. Although the father cannot be forgiven for neglecting her throughout her childhood, I am still so grateful that they managed to fix their relationship thanks to Eun Gyeol and that Cheong Ha now has an additional member of her loving family. No one could have portrayed Cheong Ha the way Shin Eun Soo did and I am so amazed by how strong of an actress she is. I found Eun Yu annoying at the start as I couldn't understand her motives and there were so many parts when she was almost on the verge of ruining everything but after a while, I started to enjoy her and Eun Gyeol's banter and goofiness. It was beautiful how she and Eun Gyeol finally understood that they were not there to change anyone's fate but to help their parents fix some of their regrets and enjoy their youth and life's little moments. Everyone in this drama has become my comfort character and I loved all the songs so much. I believe that OSTs really complete a drama and I only truly enjoy a drama if the OST is just as good. The music, the friendship, the nostalgia and the youth of the 90s created pure magic altogether and I will be thinking of this drama for a long time. Usually, with time travel dramas they end up giving a rather unsatisfactory ending but I felt the happiest watching the final half hour of the last episode. I feel like nothing could have been done better. Yes, I hoped that Yi Chan's accident wouldn't have happened, but I had a feeling that the accident was always meant to occur one way or another and that Yi Chan was bound to lose his hearing. However the ending makes up for all of it: Eun Gyeol is finally back with his family, their love and support for each other is just as strong and their life is still what it was always supposed to be: shining and bright, no matter their situation. It was so beautiful to watch Yi Chan and Cheong Ha be so successful and happy, using something they considered their 'weakness' to shine ever more brightly.

And this is not even everything I wanted to say, but like I said above words are not enough for me to describe how good this drama was, and how wonderfully the actors portrayed the beautiful characters in this drama.

Thank you to all the writers, directors and producers for bringing this gem to us. Thanks to the amazing staff and the brilliant actors, main leads and all the support cast, I had the most beautiful time watching this the past couple of months. Thank you for making my autumn 2023 so memorable, I will be thinking about Twinkling Watermelon with affection for a long time ♡

"From time to time, let yourself enjoy the moment. You can never get back your youth. Let yourself twinkle while you can. Do things that make your heart flutter. It won't make your world come crashing down." (Ha Eun Ho)

"Life didn't have to be perfect for it to shine. It's the little moments that make your life twinkle, and happiness is what you experience when those moments come together." (Ha Eun Gyeol)

DEFINITELY SEEN BETTER BUT IT WAS FUNNY

Since the very first episode Backstreet Rookie has been quite the scandal, and after completing the drama I can agree with the fact that there were problems: romanticizing student/adult relationships, black cultural appropriation and the fact that the whole was tagged under 'family comedy-drama'. At first, like many, I took that first episode rather lightly, saying that since it's a webtoon adaptation the facts and events are very unrealistic and that I should not put too much thought into it. But the more I read discussions and opinions from others the more I realised that although it's all unrealistic it can have a bad impact or trigger some people, which made me further realise how unsensitive that first encounter between Saet-byul and Dae-hyun was. Although she started everything and kissed him it was still giving a wrong message to younger audiences who might confuse a fictional love story of 10 years into something romantic and to try in real life. Also, it was insensitive towards people who had similar bad and traumatic experiences. The second point is the best friend Dal-sik, whose character was just totally wrong for me. His presentation, behaviour, and style were just so offensive and are the biggest mistake the writer or PD team made in my opinion and the fact that until the very end, they didn't try to change or develop anything about him. Yeah, he was funny, but also cringey and disgusting.

From what I heard these kinds of dramas were popular in South Korea in the '90s but for audiences today, with all the talks about gender equality (do we want to talk about the father being beaten up religiously lol), cultural representation and misappropriation, a lot of things here were offensive and ignorant. Yes, SK is usually pretty insensitive in these cases, but honestly, if the writers and directors gave some points a little thought it would've saved them so many of those complaints and hate towards the actors.

Now let me mention why it was funny, despite all the issues I discussed above. It was silly, stupid, completely unrealistic and very colourful. Everything was a mess at times, but that's exactly what made it comic and at times relatable. Apart from all the bad stuff, it gives rom-com, and although kind of slow, it had all the elements and I don't regret watching it to be honest. I'm happy how so many people, me included, recognised the wrongs in the drama but still gave it a chance.

The OST was really good, and that's totally what I loved most out of all the drama. The acting was also good, it was a new kind of role for Ji Chang Wook, his character had problems but he did a decent job.

Those who want to watch it, do it with an open mind, knowing all the negative stuff about it, if you don't want to get triggered or disappointed.

I've seen better but it was okay nonetheless.

HEARTBREAKING BUT BEAUTIFUL

IONTBO made me feel so many different emotions altogether. But mostly the main leads did, they were all hurt and wounded in their own ways and needed someone to love them and understand them. The very fact that it was a drama that treated psychological problems was a little different since I haven't really seen a drama this focused before. Some people said that the character's didn't even seem to have any of those mental health problems but I want to remind everyone that at the end of the day it's a Korean drama and not a documentary, of course the romance and the drama is supposed to be there, of course at one point it seemed to focus more on other elements but it was essential for the healing of the characters. Personally, I feel the actors did an awesome job, so good that at times I just couldn't stop the tears cos it seemed so realistic and painfully sad. The relationship between KT and ST was so pure, but they had their problems but I'm happy that as brothers they managed to solve them all the time. MY's slow but steady, but not complete development made her look more human by the end and I'm happy about that, since many hated her personality at the start, but probably it's because they didn't try to understand. Yes, she was rude and extra, she still is at times, but try to go to the start of her behaviour, you'll understand why she is, or why are all the characters the way that they are. It's called It's Okay Not To Be Okay for a reason.

I also wanted to talk about OK Psychiatric Clinic, the staff and patients there. Their stories made me realise and understand so many things and I just want to say that those actors also did an absolutely amazing job.

KSH and SYJ are both very good actors, and they had a very good understanding of their characters and they played their roles well. They broke my heart, they made me cry but also smile and laugh. Them two were mood. The supporting cast was also very important and without them the drama would have been surely very different, they were so essential. Also the director, writers and production really did an awesome job, the way they assembled everything, the cinematography, the dialogues and everything is needy of praises.

The OST was awesome. I pay very much attention to the soundtrack and music of a drama cos I believe that it can make a huge difference to the overall mood and atmosphere of a drama. Many of my fave dramas are also my favourites because of the high quality music they offered.

To conclude, the ending was good. The only thing is not knowing more about how things went with the mother, but maybe it's good like this. Everything I wished for happened and I have no regrets. I want to say that it was a really good journey to watch this for the last month and a half, I met so many wonderful people while commenting and discussing this k-drama on MDL, and it was a good ride. You should really give this drama chance and understanding, it's actually really beautiful.

SO MUCH MORE THAN WHAT I EXPECTED ♡

Wow, I cannot believe this has ultimately reached its end, six weeks went by in the blink of an eye. Castaway Diva is so much more than anything anyone expected. Emotional and heartbreaking from the very first episode, it set the tone right and never disappointed once ever since. Even when one thought the main or side story could get messed up or disappoint viewers, it managed to prove us wrong.

The characters were beautiful and raw. Mok Ha and Ki Ho left such an impression from when they were school kids on Chunsam Island that it was impossible not to feel for their story and cheer for them to have a happy ending. They both went through so much even as they grew up and as adults, so I was the happiest when they finally managed to let go of their worries and finally be happy together with the people they love the most. Woo Hak/Chae Ho was always such a scene-stealer, his goofy and straightforward personality lit up the scenes in more ways than one. The Kang (or should I say Lee) brothers' love and support for each other and the way they had different ways to express themselves was one of the highlights of the drama. They are so different in personality but that's how siblings are, it was so relatable. They were so funny and adorable and I am going to miss seeing them onscreen together. The supporting cast was brilliant, every character was built on different human emotions, you could understand their motives, fears and moves and that is what made these characters human and relatable. Ki Ho's father is the only character that I despised the most but hats off to the actor, as these feelings only come out when an actor manages to portray them well, Lee Seung Joon is always such a versatile actor. On this note, a big part of this drama was its actors, and Park Eun Bin once again proved why she is the amazing star that she is: I have watched almost all of her dramas and she is such a talented actress, she portrays her roles with such diligence and perfection and this time she even sang so many songs for the OST and this step further made her shine in the role of Seo Mok Ha, as it is her voice and the facial expressions that made it such a delight to watch. I don't miss any of Chae Jong Hyeop's dramas as well and once again he charmed us with his eyes and amazing smile, the best Ki Ho we could have ever gotten. His facial expressions and acting are so captivating and I am so excited to see his future lead roles, he is a fantastic actor. It was my first time watching Cha Hak Yeon and Kim Hyo Jin and now I want to check out more of their works, I loved them so much: they were rash and almost selfish in so many instances but I can't fault them as these actions made their characters unique and real, and as actors, they were brilliant in portraying them.

A special shoutout to the child actors, Lee Re and Moon Woo Jin, they have such a bright future ahead of them, and the level of detail and passion they have at such a young age is commendable. The way they made us cry and love them in that first episode, wow I don't think a first episode ever left this much impact on me. It was like a whole movie, rather than an episode :)

The OST is such a hit, not one song is a skip, especially Park Eun Bin's songs, she surprised me so much, and her voice is so beautiful that I need her to sing OSTs in every drama she does from now onwards.

I have only praise for this drama, and I am happy about it. I enjoyed the last six weeks, waited for the weekend, and rushed everything so I would be sat when the episodes dropped on Netflix. Thanks to the excitement, the whole week would pass in a blur and I just genuinely enjoyed all the beautiful emotions this drama took out of me. I cried, I laughed, I was furious but the next moment I was giggling and covering my mouth at cute and fluffy scenes. This drama is a full package of emotions, so please be ready to feel them all along with the characters and I promise you won't be bored.

Thank you Castaway Diva, I was really happy the last six weeks. Thank you to the amazing cast, directors, screenwriters and all the staff for bringing this absolute gem to our screens. This is a 10/10 for me without even thinking, they deserve it in every aspect ♡

LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT TO TEARS TT

This is my second Song Joong Ki movie and I sure was not disappointed. I was waiting for this one for a long time and I loved every bit of it. I cried a lot, yes, but I loved it. It sure was predictable, and the storyline was pretty straightforward but the action and sci-fi elements were too good. Most importantly, a difficult or rich storyline is not always a must to make a movie watchable or good, on the contrary, this movie proved to me that simple and fun is best. I may be a bit biased here cos I love anything space, sci-fi and post-apocalyptic related but this was such a sweet watch. I loved how there were so many languages and so many actors from different countries, it felt like such an international and inclusive movie, which I did not expect. The actors and their characters were really good too: imperfectly human, (plus a robot and a supernatural kiddo hehe), trying to survive in a dying world but still, they were strong and had pure hearts.

South Korea now definitely has to make more sci-fi and space movies!!

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!

BEST HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA OF 2020

As many people before me have already said, this is not your typical high school drama. This is not the typical love triangle or rich-poor story, (the only other high school dramas I’ve seen are ‘Extraordinary You’ which had the whole comic world concept which made it exciting and maybe ‘Cinderella and the Four Knights’ can be considered high school too. I wanted to watch the ‘School’ series but then it seemed kinda boring and repetitive and I was scared to drop it, which I hate doing). This drama shows the darker and more dangerous side of the high school experience which includes themes such as smoking, and bullying which are relatable to almost everyone who went to high school and some that are less relatable such as sex trafficking and gangs. A good, exciting and educational break from the cute but at times unrealistic and annoying love lines that happen in a Kim So Hyun drama, for example (I don’t hate her, she’s the one that I can think of at the moment if I think of romance-high school drama). All being said, I don’t hate high school dramas or love triangles in general, I’m just expressing my preferences as someone who usually avoids high school dramas.

Going back to Extracurricular, I started watching it as soon as it came out because it was showing on my Netflix. I knew it was coming but as the main leads were high school students I thought that maybe I was not going to like it but then the illegal activity after school mentioned in the synopsis made me curious. I stopped it for a couple of days in between and went to finish Sky Castle with my sister and then Kim Dong-hee made me wanna finish it. He is a high school student in both these dramas but the difference in the two characters is astronomical. Like Ji-soo, woah, what in the world are you doing!? And Park Joo-hyun was so good too, I loved her. We’ve seen many female characters in dramas that are unhappy with their parents and hate their life but she took action and did something about it, even though what she did was illegal. She portrayed her character so strongly, showing all the emotions and making Gyu-ri a real person not just a character in a story. All the actors did such a good job. I was feeling all the emotions while watching it.

As for the ending, wow again. I’m not going to say much as I don’t want to spoil but I wanted a season 2 at first, as I always do, I don’t want to let them go if you get what I mean, I just want the story to keep on going (only if the drama is really good though). But now I think that season two is not needed. What are they even going to show? Even though how they left the ending is just too much to decide on our own as viewers, I feel like maybe another season is not necessary. But if they decide to make it, I wouldn’t mind.

One of the most exciting high school dramas ever ⭐️

Loved the concept

I watched this mostly for Xiumin and he did not disappoint. His role was adorable and cute and he did a great job acting. Especially with that smile, he does not fail to charm viewers. The concept was really good and I loved how they revolved the whole story around the symbolism behind Pierrot and how they developed Do Jeon's character in just a couple of episodes.

The only bad part was how it was directed and shot. They should have focused on that aspect more. For the rest I'm quite happy.

Definitely enjoyed watching this as sort of a break from the heavy dramas that I'm currently watching. I really recommend this for someone looking for a short yet fun viewing :)

JUST AMAZING

I finished it in one day. I had no plan whatsoever to watch it nor what the story was about but after I saw this popping up on my Netflix I couldn’t resist but click on it. The cast is so good, let me tell you. Every single one of the characters (humans and monsters) are so well thought and the actor deserve so much praise. Lee Dohyun and Song Kang seemed so mature and real after all the romcoms it was almost refreshing.

They made me cry, think and just love the whole concept. As I always say, I love sci-fi, dystopian and post apocalyptic stuff so much although I always cry but honestly it’s so necessary to watch something raw and “real” every now and then. The ending left so much room for a possible season 2 and I’m really excited at the thought.

For those who are planning to watch it, do it. It can get bloody, scary, disgusting and very emotional throughout but it’s really one of the best kdramas I watched this year. What a wonderful binge worthy finish to this year!

*Fans of Alice in Borderland, Alive, Kingdom and similar will really love this*

BEAUTIFUL AND REAL

This drama is not for everyone, but at times you need a realistic relationship like this. Not everything is lovey-dovey all the time, and at times you have to let go of someone you love as it might not be the right time, but that does not mean that they never shared a connection. I feel like people really just want a happy ending and find it frustrating when there is some kind of open ending. Believe me, I am the same lol, I try to look for hints and go over the drama again for details. I think this is the case for Doona, there are some hidden but important details and clues in the last episode and in the intros and outros to each episode that personally made me think that the director very cleverly wanted them to be picked up by the viewers themselves.

The drama as a whole was beautiful to watch: the cinematography, the ost, and all the actors were superbly talented. I loved the friends group, and all the support cast was amazing in their roles. I do like more straightforward dramas with more rom-com elements as well, but I also love it when there is a more realistic twist and here, there was a realistic portrayal of how your twenties are such a tumultuous time of your life, and how complex love can be when paired with all the other things one has in their plate in this period of their life. Doo Na can be very unlikable and almost toxic at first, but as all her layers come down, you see that she's just a girl struggling to understand what makes her happy and who just wants to be accepted and loved. It showed us how tough things can get for idols, how little help they can get when they are struggling with anxiety and confusion, and how quick people are to hate them. Of course, this does not mean that all that she does throughout is acceptable, but I could see where she was coming from. Won Jun also just loved her for what she was but also told her when she hurt him and eventually let her go so that she could be herself while doing something that she loved, which was singing and being an idol. But at the same time, he let her go for his own good too, because he realised they were not happy together at that time and prioritised his and her individual happiness, but never stopped loving her. By the end, they were both doing what they wanted to do, and from the hints I picked up from that last episode they might even have given each other another chance at being together, as this time they were older and knew how to handle some things better.

I feel like everyone should try and watch this drama as it is, and try to understand the underlying meanings and the characters. I personally really loved it and I felt so understood while seeing all the various characters go through all their different experiences, feelings and emotions. The director was really clever, he so beautifully gave us the ending without actually giving it to us directly.

GOOD FANTASY IS FINALLY BACK!! THE HONG SISTERS DID IT AGAIN!!

I officially got into k-dramas because of fantasy dramas. It has since always been my favourite genre, although I haven't finished any good one in a while now. I keep starting so many in hopes of finding a good fantasy that keeps me glued but just end up putting them on hold soon after. But this. JUST WOW!!! The story, the actors, the chemistry, the visuals, the aesthetics, the set, the music!!! I am just so obsessed with everything in Alchemy of Souls.

I did not start it immediately cos I was in a drama slump (again, I keep getting into slumps and my currently watching lists is reaching astronomical heights) and I think this actually helped me enjoy it even more. Binging it was so much fun, I haven’t stayed up this late clicking next episode in a long time.

I loved how it was historical but somehow modern as well. The language was a bit more graspable, the interactions were flowing and so were the overall dialogues. Like it was not your usual historical drama, and that was not just because it was a fantasy as well. The two usually distinct genres really fused together. The humour and comedy were also never really out of place, even in the most serious of scenes I never felt annoyed by the little silly moments (do we want to talk about Uk and the crown prince’s exchanging stares, they are always so effortlessly cute and funny. Also Park Jin with Kim Doju and Master Lee, what a love triangle. Park Jin and Jin Mu fighting over honey biscuits had me rolling on the bed). Like, I promise, you are not going to get bored one moment haha. But again that’s me but give it a chance.

The actors were amazing in delivering their characters. Usually with ensemble casts you have big expectations but not all the time your hopes are fulfilled. Our main leads were a group of talented actors, new and established, and I can say that I am so happy for them and how hard they worked. Seeing their hard work being paid by a second season within the end of the year just proves how much the story and their acting wowed the audiences. I am so proud of Lee Jae Wook btw. He has come so far since Extraordinary You and I’ve been watching and waiting for him from almost three year now. I prayed for a role like this for him so bad!!! I’m so glad this worked out for him. Can’t imagine a better Jang Uk. (Also are we ready for badass Jang Uk? The teaser better make him justice in season 2)

The individual stories of each character and how they were presented was really catching. After 20 episodes I know why they are the way they are and why they have been key in the story building process. Jang Uk, Seo Yul and Park Dang Gu have my heart!! Even the crown prince to be completely honest. The women of this drama woah!! Strong, elegant and resolute. Like I enjoyed this drama so much that I don’t actually hate any character. Like okay, maybe I dislike a few for obvious reasons, but the comedy made up for that. Also where can I find these honey biscuits? Like they were the main character.

The only little downside was Nak Su. It was a bit disappointing how she transformed into Mu Deok by the end. Like yes, she did not have powers anymore but somehow she just became more gullible. It’s like they were two different people. Like Nak Su’s soul was in her but it was Mu Deok who was controlling it which was one my theories as well. And with the Jin Bu Yeon twist they did to some extent make sense into that aspect. This is why I am excited for Go Yoon Jung being back as she added the essence and life into the original Nak Su. I am happy with how Nak Su/Mu Deok/Bu Yeon fused in Jung So Min but I crave more of that badass Go Yoon Jung Nak Su.

A lot of people consider this an overrated drama, and I can admit myself that until a few days ago I could have thought so too. When the final episodes aired I was at around episode 13 and thought that yes, I am loving it so far but is it actually going to live up to all the love I am currently feeling? And you know what, it did. I feel like the last 10 episodes really did it for me. Honestly you could not really stop at any point. Like at at around Hal dramas i start feeling bored because of the usual politics and power plays but not this time. While in the first half we were slowly flowing and building the momentum, the second half really showed so many important and necessary developments. Some dramas play their cards too early on, and it leaves boring episodes by the end where unnecessary subplots are added and are mostly just filler episodes. In here, although there were so many characters, there were subplots but they were somehow expected and everyone was waiting for those secrets to be out and put the final puzzle together. Like for a 20 episodes drama which was averagely more than an hour long they really managed to wow me.

I loved how between the last two episodes there were moments of calm before the ending. We knew it was going to one hell of a ending. Explosive. And that teaser at the end!! Are you kidding me!? How am I supposed to wait until December? Thank God I am going back to uni otherwise the wait would have killed me. I think I’ll just rewatch it (which from me is a big statement, because I never rewatch dramas)

I know that some people might feel disappointed by what will happen or not with Jung So Min but I am sure the writers have something good in store for us. The original Nak Su impressed me so much with her strong personality so I am very excited about Go Yoon Jung returning as Nak Su. It’s going to be just 10 episodes and from the teaser I am expecting a rather fast paced plot, which is honestly required at this point of the story. I hope Seo Yul finds his happiness, he was truly the scene stealer for me.

Rather than a review this was more like a rant to myself. I do understand the reasons many people might not like this but personally for me their points are exactly why I enjoyed this. I am just happy many people, just like me, loved and enjoyed the characters’ journey and the story. That is all that matters at the end. We are all different and have opinions but at the end of the day what matters is if the drama made you feel something.

Thanks for reading this messy train of thoughts!! Season 2!! DECEMBER COME FASTER!!

PERFECT FOR A RAINY EVENING

Omg this was so so good!! I liked this better than some longer dramas, which may sound ridiculous since this was just a two-episode drama special, but this was so easy to watch and had all the elements a good rom-com needs. The historical and time travel concept did not drag, and the ending was satisfying. For two one-hour episodes, this was perfect. This is by far one of my favourite Korean short drama/drama special!

The cast was also really well blended together, I loved seeing Ahn Hyo Seop here. The main leads were so cute together, I kept smiling and giggling like an idiot once they started liking each other. The final scene was also beautiful, such a satisfying ending.

This is a perfect evening watch, it's like watching a two-hour movie and I loved how it was raining while I was watching it, the perfect ambience for the concept of this drama. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a light but well-executed watch.
