Pleasant few hours viewing but nothing special
This is a fairly run-of-the-mill Thai BL university series. It is pleasant to watch, the OST is not invasive, not a lot of drama or over the top comedy.Pros:
Attractive but not distracting actors and locations
Male partners as parents
No forced sex
No graphic sex
Duck
Cons:
Male beta turns into stereotype bottom ~ whiny, greedy, false shy instead of just modest
Almost exclusively male cast except for a few stereotyped female characters
Way too many unresolved storylines
Disjointed story
No compelling story to capture and hold interest

A Survivor's First Steps to Himself
SPOILERS: As a survivor I've been thinking alot about "Light". Don't read if you haven't seen "Light". There are also a lot of triggers in the movie so take care. The actor who played Light was brilliant in conveying his vulnerability and the hope and innocence that still exists in him. "Even if its not true, can you say that you like me."
Emotionally, Light never experienced love without pain, never received affection, however false, without suffering. He learned that the only way he could be loved or valued was through his pain. He learned he had no value to anyone except as an object.
Physically, he was conditioned to experience sexual arousal through pain. His gratification was incidental to the gratification his pain gave others.
Is Shou's feeling for LIght strong enough to help Light heal? Can he accept that LIght has a long journey and may fall occasionally?
Can Light learn that pleasure for others doesn't mean his suffering? Can he learn that sex isn't the only way to show love? Can he learn to take pleasure from a loving touch? Can he accept that he has value? Can he learn to love himself? To love another? That love comes from within and flows out?
Light did two important things to begin his own healing ~ he stopped his participation in the cycle of abuse and he stepped away from depending on another (Shou) to take care of him, he stood on his own.

A Heartbreaking and Bittersweet Story
This series gives us two engaging story lines. It is not really a love story as much as it is a story of people looking for love and acceptance and learning to love and accept themselves. This is story of forgiveness of others and for yourself. All of the actors are impeccably cast. The writing is natural and understated, never descending into forced melodrama. The sets and locations are believable. The OST suits the theme and is not intrusive. The director got this one right.
People always want to know if series have happy endings, wanting to get there without experiencing the journey. I will say this ~ there is a satisfactory ending but not in a way one might wish.
The ending was realistic and what the viewer might expect ... Until ... Well I don't want to spoil it for you. It's a short pleasant watch ... So watch it yourself.

A Short Story Anthology ~ Ep. 2 is charming
This is a collection of 6 short stories about different types and stages of love.I think many reviewers were confused because they thought that it was supposed to be a connected series instead of a series of unconnected stories. These were lovely interludes in the lives of lovers of different types. They are beginnings endings and middles not the whole story, yet each episode is a complete vignette. What an amazing challenge for the writers, directors, and actors to create an entire world in just a few moments. I think that they did very well.
A word in particular about episode 2. I have a cat. I believe cats feel exactly the way the actor portrayed a cat in this episode. We saw the story both from the viewpoint of the cat and from the viewpoint of the owner. Kudos to all especially First, who will forever be the quintessential fluffy orange kitty to me.

A work-place drama with some issues
The kisses in this drama are knee-weakening. Some are so tender and poignant, while some are passionate and hungry. The chemistry between the couple is amazing. But ...
As a work-place drama I found the actions of the boss a little predatory. I know it's a trope in BL dramas but this went too far in some scenes. The secretarial unit's "humorous" acceptance and encouragement of the situation was also disturbing. This lessened the overall impact of the main characters' trauma.
That said, I did watch it twice.

This is the BL against which I compare all others
This is the BL and drama against which I compare all other BLs. Although it started a bit slow for me and was a bit confusing at first, I put that down to it being one of the first BLs I watched. After watching this one and being so affected by the story, many other BLs were disappointing.
The actors, director, writers, and production staff did an excellent job.
I have rewatched it several times and am always caught up in the story and amazed at the actors' skill at such young ages.

Some stories are beginnings. Some are endings. This is a middle.
I really liked this series. It was cleanly stripped down to the main characters story. There were no unnecessary scenes. There was no second couple to stretch the length. There was no over the top humor for the sake of humor. The characters are engaging without overburdening the viewer with backstory.Although the first episode was a little awkward, the writing and acting got much better. The chemistry between the main characters developed naturally. It left us wanting more. So I hope there is a second series coming.
The OST is wonderful and I'm going to add it to my favorites playlist.
