Out of all the dramas I've watched, this has got to be the most dramatic of them all! Maybe it was the over-exaggerated BGM that made me feel like I was watching an American soap-opera parody... During very climatic scenes there were times where I just couldn't help but roll my eyes, due to the BGM.. and it made me feel bad, because obviously those scenes were meant to be taken seriously. BUT! Despite that one problem I had while watching this drama, everything else about it was PERFECT! The acting that was delivered by both the child and adult actors were spot on. I was forever conflicted on which male lead to support... along the way, I couldn't help but fall in love with Nam Goong Min's character. He was just one of those dark characters you wanted to hug and smack some sense into. I know, contradicting. Watching this drama can be emotionally-draining with its twists and turns.. you're either really happy.. or incredibly depressed.. But if you can handle those feelings, it's a drama that will leave you touched. I laughed and cried my heart out watching this drama. Can You Hear My Heart has the best list of characters compared to many of the rest.
