Romantic, Fun & Feel Good

They rarely make dramas like this now. It’s a fun and fast paced imperial whodunnit with plenty of romance in the form of multiple couple story lines. There wasn’t a single episode that dragged for me, thus increasing the rewatchability. The ending also wrapped most everything up.

Both main couples’ romances were enjoyable, but I had a soft spot for the elder sister and Zhou Shian due to the extra angst and sweetness.

I actually wouldn’t mind this drama being longer to have more time to look into the side characters’ stories (like Fan finding her sister, and Yang Zong is such a nice guy I want to know what happens to him).
