I have always been a fan of studying other cultures. I started out studying Art in college but change my major as an Art History major with a minor in Archaeology after being introduced to Art History as a prerequisite of an Art Degree. My Grandmother had been an interior designer and loved all things Asian so I was used to being surrounded by beautiful art objects as a young child. My husband and I had one child then were not able to have another so we adopted our middle child from Korea 29 years ago. Yes, we then as the story goes had another daughter. At any rate, at that point I started concentrating on Korea to learn as much as I could about my daughter's cultural history. I think the first show I watched was on Netflix...Perfect Kiss. My daughter has always made a sound as an exclamation that I was never able to duplicate, nor had I heard before. As I was flicking through the shows...I heard that sound....on Perfect Kiss and the rest is viewing history. I don't watch any American TV at all as I am too busy behind my computer. Everyone teases me that I am more Korean than my daughter...LOL
