Both dramas tematalize the revenge in very sophistically way. They ask about, why people murder other persons.
Both dramas are dark and realistic, enquiring human morality. Both FL are complicated persons, with problematic past.
Both dramas are dealing with serious social problems (media impact / status of women in society etc.) and dark side of depicted professions (manipulation of medias, dilemmatic court cases).
Both dramas depicts dark family ties with psychopaths. Both murderer believe, that hero (policeman/detective) are like them.
1. strong woman
2. younger man
3. noona romance
4. teleshipping, vendor themes

Tha characters are playing with love and with sexual weaknesses of their opponents too
There is similarity betweeen princes in ML and three friends in GF, characters was changing from harmonious friends to enemies in both shows.
Marriage at the begining, crossdressing, similar clever heroine and similar feeling of these shows, but the end of PC is realy funny.
Same scriptwriter and same tendency to relativity of good and evil.
Both dramas have same actress, she playes similar character (her behaviour and her job too, MDS inspirated IHYV in my opinion). IHYV is mix of comedy, romance, thriller and justice drama, MDS focuses more to relationships in family, guilt, and its consequences. MDS reminds me work of Thomas Hardy, because you can't avoid your past, it will be hunted you and it can destroy you.
Characters of both dramas found, that every blade has two edges and every thing has two sides and what you give to other people, it can return to you in bad or good meaning. P is for wider audience then PB IMHO.
Gender bender. DRRT seems to me, that it tookstory of TB. TB contains quite logical behaviour of character and story is well done, DRRT has more weak points in my opinion.
