Hi! I'm a 25 year-old k-popper and drama lover since middle-2012! I've started to watch dramas (and consequently Asian movies) kinda late, so my lists aren't that extensive . Unfortunately, I currently don't have a lot of free time, not as I used to, so I come back to Dramaland in waves of willpower and leisure.
I tend to prefer Korean dramas, but of course I sometimes find non-Korean pieces I really want to watch; for movies, I don't actually have any preference. As far as plots go, I can watch any genre at all, although I do have my favourites. I mostly enjoy a good romantic comedy (historical or situational are a plus), and I do think they are what dramaland does the best.
I direct a fair amount of anger towards dramas that cause me Second Lead Syndrome (aka Almost Every Asian Drama Ever) - so please don't talk to me about Boys Over Flowers and especially You're Beautiful (seriously, I can't even hear about this one anymore). All in all, I always enter a new adventure praying for the writer to either not go over the top, be too cliche or dive so deep into stupidity it hurts.
First drama: Reply 1997 (an all time favourite!)
First movie: Shutter (who'd know this would be one of the first Asian movies I would ever see)
Find me! I'm on Tumblr (mostly EN) and Twitter (mostly PT-BR)
