Story,- The story was average. Some plot points are unbelievable. The pacing was okay. The ending seemed rushed.

Cast- The mail leads chemistry was off. They just did not seem believable. The second couple suffered from the same issue. The supporting cast was just average.

Production - The cinematography, lighting, and scenery we're done well. The sets were just dull as dishwater. Nothing special.

OST- Nothing special. Not rememorable. Did not enhance the movie at all.

Enjoyable

I've watched episode 1 through 9 so this review will be updated at the end of the series.

Finally a BL series that displays genuine relationship building. The mail leads are very affectionate and tender toward each other. The relationship is very believable and genuine.

NSFW Content. - 1 - 9 Very sweet cuddles, hugs and affectionate touching. First Kiss in episode 6. Nice setup for NSFW scene in episode 8. The scene was sexy and classy. Not over the top., just enough to satisfy the viewers anticipation. Well done.

Story- I love the writing in this series. No , unnecessary frustrations. No stupid plot points. No lazy writing. No overused BL tropes. Good communication between the male leads. The story makes sense with a great plot and interesting twists. I'm enjoying the series immensely. It just makes you smile. The producers, writers, screenwriters, directors, everybody involved with this production has done an amazing job.

Production- The production is well done. Great cinematography, lighting, and scenery. High quality production. Thanks to everyone involved with putting the production together well done.

Casting,- The male leads are on fire. They are doing such an amazing job. I love it. They are so charming and sexy. The chemistry is off the charts. They're doing a wonderful job. They're budding relationship is very believable. The supporting cast is also doing a great job. Everyone should be very proud of themselves.

OST- Nice music played at the right times. Not overplayed. Well done. Nice addition to the show.

Better than most movies in the genre

Story- Good story. Very believable. Very realistic . The ending lacked depth. The ending was the weakest part of the movie. Ending a movie must be hard because it's a common issue. Especially with low budget films. I guess they run out of money. Lol.

Cast - The actors were excellent.

Production- Good not great. The cinematography and lighting enhanced the story vibe.

OST - Great karaoke scene. The song was very fitting and add dimension to the storyline .

The NSFW scenes were tacky.

I am all for a good steamy sexy mature content. I love great love scenes. With that said the love scenes in this particular series were over the top and tacky. Mail genitals should never be shown in this genre.

NSFW Content - X Rated. Extremely explicit sex scenes.

Story- The story is very confusing. So many flashbacks and forwards it's hard to keep up with the timeline. More episodes were needed to tell such a complicated story.

Cast- The acting was fine. All the actors did a good job.

Production - The production was fine. The cinematography, lighting, and scenery or great. A little dark at times but I think that was intentional.

OST- Nothing special.

Over Rated

This series is completely overrated. The actors absolutely missed the bar. They were unbelievable as a couple and they had zero chemistry. It was obvious that they were very uncomfortable playing this type of role and neither of the male leads should do another BL series. They don't do the genre any justice.

NSFW- G Rated. If you need to put a finger in between the male leads mouths doing kissing scenes, just delete the kissing scenes altogether.

Story - The story was stupid and unbelievable.

Cast - The two male leads were very uncomfortable playing their BL characters. It was obvious that neither one of them should ever do another BL series again. The supporting cast was unremarkable.

Production - The production was high quality. But the scenes were very simple. Nothing out of the ordinary.

OST,- Nothing special. Did not add anything to the show. They had a few special songs that each of the least performed but still nothing special.

Started Bad - Ended Great

This particular drama did not start well. But if you can make it to episode 6 until the end. you will be rewarded with a really great BL series. This series has one of the most best NSFW scenes in BL. Start at episode 6 and enjoy the buildup.

NSFW Content- One of the best intimate / affectionate scenes in a BL series.

Story - it's good at episode 6 until the end. The ending is really great very satisfying.

Cast- the male leads really do a great job after episode 6. Which shows that it was not their ability but the material they were working with. Supporting cast was also good. Nothing special but good.

Production- Nothing special kind of low budget.

College aged man acting like a 5-years ols is not sexy or cute.

I've watched episode 1 -5. Review update.

Opening scene was really good. The show is a mixed bag. At first I thought I wouldn't like it but it's growing on me. Easter's childlike behavior is very annoying but Hill"s straightforward and mature approach is very appealing. There are a lot of flashbacks. The flashbacks are starting to get confusing so hopefully everything is cleared up as a series goes on.


1. The comedy themed music is ridiculous. And it's not making the scenes any more funny. Totally annoying.

2. College age men acting like they have the emotional and mental aptitude of 5-year-olds is not appealing or believable or cute or sexy.! Just stop it already.

3. Obnoxious nosy characters. Who act like other people's lives are more important than their own it's just ridiculous. It's ridiculous and absolutely annoying.

4. The miscommunication trope is done. It needs to be buried. It's not a believable trope if your characters are college-age students. It creates a very unpleasant viewing experience. I find it extremely annoying and frustrating..

Great Relationship Dynamics!

Writing
I like the way the writers have developed the relationship. Very believable. Its not easy to write complex relationships with depth and weight.

Normally writers use flimsy and shallow disagreements to create the enemy relationship so they can also use flimsy and shallow writing to create the LoverTurning Point. Creating the familiar Enemies to Lovers Throne.

But that's not the case with this particular series The writers took the time to create a real reason for one character to be angry and the other character's desire for redemption.

The writers also did a good job defining the character traits of each lead. They are both kind people that displayed kindness, compassion, understanding and forgiveness .

Good writing makes thier relationship dynamics believable and enjoyable to watch

Acting
Both of the male leads and the supporting cast acting is good. But Joke is really carrying this series.. Joke is a multifaceted and dimensional character. It takes substantial acting skills to portray characters like the Joke.

Production
High Quality. Well done. The production quality of BL dramas has improved dramatically.

Amazing Love Story!

One of the best BL series ever. Absolutely phenomenal. Such a sweet enduring love story. In a class by itself.

My favorite BL Storyline / Thorpe: Is a couple liking each other early in the series.

Because that leaves more time for the cute fluffy sweet moments.

This type of storyline requires great writing.

Some shows have that WOW factor, a show that manages to get everything right: Acting, Casting, Story, Writing, Pacing, Production, and OST.

Some shows just make you feel good ,right. This is one of those shows.

The two male leads are absolutely adorable together. Their chemistry is to the moon and back. So cute.

I could say more but I don't want to spoil your fun so just watch it and ENJOY!

Episode 6 English Subtitles are really bad.

Story- a very cute story that is complimented by good writing and editing. So far the pacing of the story is good and keeps the viewer engaged.

Cast- The male leads are fantastic. At first I didn't really see the pairing but as the episodes went on they really grow on you. Their chemistry is electric. The actors are doing a really good job building the relationship. The sexual tension is palpable. The supporting cast is also doing a good job. There's really no stand out supporting cast members yet but they are some very good looking cast members. Lots of eye candy.

Production - The production is well done. Good cinematography, lighting, and scenery. So far so good.

OST- None of the songs really stand out but they're not bad either. It's still early in the series so maybe they're girl on me.

NSFW Content - So far PG level. There's been some cuddling and affectionate touching. Good sexual tension building scenes.

Masterclass in storytelling.

The lead actors and supporting cast are amazing. Very realistic and authentic.

The cinematography and lighting adds warmth and beauty.

The OST sounds like it was produced for each scene. Each song complements the corresponding scene perfectly. The music matches the mood and vibe of the show.

The english subtitles are so well done. Each conversation adds meaning to the storyline. The translation is well done.

This is a Chinese BL so I would be surprised if there is any intimacy. But thats okay.. Its just nice to get a beautiful Chinese BL love story.
