I really liked this drama. I'd just watched Micky in Sungkyunkwan Scandal and then I watched this drama.
It has a lot of the elements of a normal Korean drama, which i've grown to love. I like the mix of scenes of Joseon Korean and Modern Korea. I loved the heroin and the main guy. I didn't tire of either of their personalities. I also liked that their personalities were consistent. I find a lot dramas in which the person after the romance is a complete 360 from the character's personality before they fell in love. This was not the case in Rooftop Prince.
This drama was absolutely hilarious. Definitely one of the funniest dramas I've ever seen. Especially in the beginning of the drama.
The ending of a drama usually gives a final impression, and oftentimes makes or breaks my opinion of a drama. I'd say it accounts for 1/4 of my overall opinion for a drama. The ending of this drama, I think, really added to the drama. It was, in my opinion, original and refreshing. Although, I haven't decided if I like the ending, per say, but It was memorable. I still think about it, because I feel that the ending was very interesting.
Finally, the music in this drama was also really memorable. When I heard the song "Hurt" by Ali I was like, "Woah, her voice is amazing." I don't know what it is but I'm really drawn to her voice. And I usually like men's singing. There were other really good songs too. It is one of the few OSTs that I've ever downloaded.
