In contrast to many viewers, I actually didn't really like the first few episodes. Maybe because I'm used to more intense t-dramas, but the beginning felt very bland for me. The story was heartwarming, though, and very realistic. There was no unrealistic plot or elements. The storyline was more or less predictable but I loved how the character development was played out. ShanShan's growth was tremendous throughout the course of the drama. She grew from being insecure and a little naive, to a mature, confident woman. Throughout it all, FengTeng supported her. Of course, there's always a antagonist but thankfully it doesn't last that long and I could never fully hate her since she's not evil. The cast was great. I really liked all of the characters. Most characters were understandable and the drama plays out class differences pretty well. The leads (ShanShan and FengTeng) were just so adorable! They had great chemistry and whenever FengTeng pinched ShanShan's cheek I was like "aww". I actually liked the eating food together scenes a lot because the dishes were pretty common but they made it look delicious! OST of this drama was just ok. Usually after a drama, I keep humming the songs, but I don't remember any songs right now. Overall, I would probably re-watch some scenes and maybe re-watch the whole thing if I have time. I recommend this drama if you like a slow romance with lots of character growth and overcoming class differences. (8.5/8.75)
