I got to know about Asian dramas through a few friends who have been telling me about them for ages. I would hear them go on about this amazing guy named Matsujun and his band Arashi. It wasn’t only until 2008 that I finally understood their obsession and gave Asian dramas a go. It’s mostly because I got into Kpop and became little more open minded. My first dramas were Hana Yori Dango, 1 Litre of Tears and Bad Family. All three are awesome dramas and I would recommend them to anyone.


I’m a huge So Ji Sub and Kang Ji Hwan fan and decided to keep them off my favs list only to give them a special place here ^_^










A little more about me - I’ve been studying Japanese at university for the last 3 years but I’m nowhere near good enough to watch dramas J-dramas unsubbed (as that was the aim originally :P). I’ve never been to Asia. Always wanted to visit South Korea and was supposed to start teaching there this year but sadly couldn’t go. I generally like all kinds of music but my favourite genre’s have to be Punk Rock and Kpop (if that’s even a genre). My fav Kpop groups have to be DBSK, SHINee and Big Bang. Im not a big fan ofJpop but in terms of Jrock I really love L’Arc En Ciel and Gackt.
