Short stories (15min), with a deep meaning in each story.

Science Fiction series and takes place in Futuristic world . (Most of them, few are not)

Hoshi Shinichi is very well known for his short stories and this series is based on his stories.
He has written more than 1000 short stories and this 18 - 20 stories are selected among them.

Some short stories are humourous, some are satirical, and some are cynical .
Importantly each story has a unpredictable and mindblowing ending !!
And almost all the stories have some deep meaning which is thought provoking !!

Highly recommed Hoshi Shinichi no Fushigina Fushigina Tanpen series !!

Though Fantasy , Human emotions are the same !!

This series has all the important genres: Romance , Action, Comedy, and Mystery.

Well made series and writers have given through thought to each character.
Acting is amazing by all the characters and supporting characters as well !!

Though it has fantasy elements, human emotions are the same at the end and everything was perfect till 19.

However Ep20 is not that well thought, all powerful ones who controlled icestones get manipulated easily and importantly there was no clue about it in first 30 hrs or so. Last 20 min is done in a hurried manner.

Overall satisfying series in 2022, could have made with better ending !!

Just ok types series however overhyped one.

Positives : FL acting. Slightly different cases. Visuals, Few cases were good like case 4 : Geuramis father property.

Others: Weak plot, no development of any character and especially no importance to ML and no strong reasons why he liked her. And the converse as well, no good reason why FL liked ML. And character s change their nature over a night in the second half.

Though cases were different, they became dull after some episodes, and it’s too much of a drag when a case is dealt in 2 episodes. Imo, some of the cases could be re solved with just legal consultation

Overall can be watched once without much expectations and especially for acting .

Consider this as a light series, then it’s a enjoyable ride. (The unnecessary expectations were created because of the short 1 min scenes in each episode about mother , rivalry of firms, personal grudges)

Metaphors and Life meaning questions, and of course barn burning

Its a terrific movie, just may be they would have reduced the movie length by 10 min or so (WHERE ML alone scenes before BEN comes), would have been perfect.
Still its a excellent movie 9.5.

Though movie seems prolonged, it has excellent metaphors, analogies , and deep questions.
Also importantly the meaning of Barn Burning by the author Murakami is portrayed well. (I would recommend to read that short story or summary after watching the movie, otherwise u might not be engaged)

Note; If some one expects sth to happen , its not going to happen. its very slowburn movie.
Lot of methaphors, life questions were included in the movie.

Excellent acting by all the cast especially 3 Leads. (JJS plays the role with such ease is mindblowing)

Decent movie though not great !!

Well, This movie in a way is very similar to part 1, however crew became oblivious that audience already knew that the girl has supernatural abilities, so there is no surprise element. Also the power is of great magnitiude compared to part 1, so it becomes like animation.

More characters leads to less depth of characters. The Girl is just a blank paper (She gets 8 to 10 Dialogues overall) and JaYun gets very less screentime as well.
JaYun saves her friend in part 1, here the Girl did not save 2 people and exhibits enormous power later which she could have used earlier to stop those bombings. The other is not shown as smart like the former one, she used excessive power on those gangsters when its unnecessary.
Genetically modified people are not only known for their physical power but also they are considered as smart (in all aspects) in understanding the situation and dealing with it. Also surprisingly Girl never had any objective in her mind.

IMO , I would recommend to to use limited power (Otherwise it would become like X-Men )
Note the comments are about the Plot and ACTING wise Everyone did an exceptional job !!

Not so great, routine random twists

Never seen a stupid drama like this. It’s just 6.
if you have lot of free time, you can give it a try and however don't expect the same if you like 2 or 3 initial episodes.

Characters are so inconsistent…. It’s neither mystery, horror,action, revenge , law… and no way close to thriller…. Many random inconsistent characteristics.
1. Supposedly ML, Why he hides and lives like that and again later he gets into affair and dont care much about family is awfully inconsistent to me.

2. ML Mother's: Is she stupid mother or what.... omg insanely crazy... (except lead actress most of them are insane and lead actress is crazy in her own way)

IMO, There is nothing much to write. its not dark as well.

However Good acting by all the actors, still this doesnt make a good drama to watch..

It’s about humans trying to give meaning to supernatural events..

Overall series is decent though not the great one out there.
There are some logical gaps for sure.
Series is about: (these are obvious and many understood in same way, just wanted to state here)
1. How few use the some supernatural phenomenon to their advantage and they eventually end up becoming more evil to maintain that image.
2. Another set of people involve in satisfying their whims using the same event. They are more dangerous from the very beginning.
3. If god created that Supernatural phenomenon , there might be some mistakes in the process. It would take time to rectify/modify them. GOD’S CREATION IS NOT PERFECT. IT EVOLVES OVER TIME.
4. The CGI MONSTERS are just using the brute force and they do not have the ability to care about consequences. Those visuals were unnecessary, horror can be created with simple creatures as well.
5. How humans try to give meaning to any event though it’s never clear why few were selected for that hell.

Few unanswered questions for season 2
1. What is the selection criteria.
2. How did baby survive
3. Why that dead lady became human again .
4. What is the intended message for that supernatural phenomenon or is it just random or is it done by some demons.

Seems it’s so so hyped, so just thought of copying the comment I have written earlier.

Not so great, unless u have time. Plot is pretty weak. No depth in characters or relationships. No thrilling moments or suspense, bland.

Acting was good. Decent action sequences. It’s 7 imo.
