Mother & Daughter

I will never forget Mother. I knew from the beginning that Mother was going to be special, and I am so glad to have been given this blessing to experience it.I am so happy that Yoon Bok ends up with Soo Jin. It may have taken a while, but I am sure the longing they had for each other was insurmountable during those three years and I definitely felt it as I was crying all the time throughout this whole experience. I am blissful about Yoon Bok having a big family with a brother and sister, and the fact that Soo Jin found her birth mother. The relationship between Soo Jin and Yoon Bok is everything to me, and I love that they end up being happy together, because they deserve the best of the world and more. I just want to hug them all, and the fact that Yoon Bok wants Hye Na's mother to be happy as well just makes me tear up. Yoon Bok is such a unique child and I can't think of anyone better suited to be with her besides Soo Jin.

"Then... erase this memory too."

I truly loved this episode, and it would be an understatement to say that it gets better and better. A lot of comedic scenes in this one, which really made me laugh, but also scenes that made me cry a lot. Love Eung Cheol, such a kind of soul. May he enjoy all the bowls of chicken soup and fried chicken in the world!I will never stop saying this, but the chemistry between Jisoo and Hae In is everything to me. These two always manage to make me cry, characters that really make you feel for them. When Soo Hoo was listening to Young Ro's recording of her encounter with Soo Hoo at Evergreen Records, and afterwards when he continued the recording it just made me emotional. I sense something bad might happen, especially the way they cut the scene off.The ending of that episode was perfect. It's been a while since we last saw them like that; together, laughing and enjoying each others' company even amidst all that's going on. The OST along with that kiss is so moving, heart-rending, heart warming and all at the same time.

Emotional

Soo Hoo's conflicted mind really makes me sad and I feel for him. At last, he shows his true intentions in this episode and I'm glad he made that choice. I am hoping for an ending where the hostages will live, but with that said I also want both Soo Hoo and Young Ro to live, but I can't shake the feeling that some tragic event might befall on one of them. I want to remain hopeful, however, with the mindset of both of them living. When Young Ro was shouting to her dad about sending her brother of well it just made me cry. Honestly, I cried throughout this whole episode. The interaction between Young Ro and So Hoo, especially the pigeon pendant sequence. Such emotional characters, I can't help but feel sad everytime I see them, I hope they can be happy in some way when all of this is over. "If you tell me to die, I will!" That was one of the most emotional scenes I have encountered and it just broke me.

Most intense so far...

Episode 7 is just something else. Let me start by talking about Jisoo. I am used to seeing Jisoo as a member of Blackpink, but seeing her in a main role is just more of a blessing to me. As a BLINK, I've barely seen her cry compared to Lisa, Jennie and Rosé. However, here, we see her cry and I will never run out of things to say for how good she is at everything she does, she is just that amazing. I cry just watching her outside of her acting and seeing her cry here just makes me as emotional.Yoo In Na (Cheong Ya) completely surprised me, I really did not expect her working for the North, I'm glad that Soo Hoo's team's got some help. Towards the end, I was reminded of Young Ro's brother. While I had forgotten, I couldn't shake the feeling that tragedy had befallen her brother after the engagement with the South and North. Now, I can't wait for what's going to happen next as I feel sympathetic for both Soo Hoo and Young Ro.

One of the best episodes I've seen

Like the headline says, this is the one of the, if not, the best episode I have seen. I really loved it and it was quite amazing. At the end of the day, I feel like he actually might be Big Mouse, to be honest. At first I was convinced it was Miho, or maybe his father-in-law, but now I feel like it's Chang Ho!

Emotional

This drama is an emotional one to me and this episode really made me cry. I am sensing it'll keep having that kind of effect on me as I think it's a sensitive but a meaningful drama nonetheless.

Goodbye, world.

So many beautiful moments in this one, but it all boils down to that last meeting between Yoon Bok and Yeong Shin. Rest in peace, 할머니.

An imminent escape...

The teamwork between Soo Jin and Yoon Bok is so lovely. I loved the sequence with Oh Gyun and his father. I have an immense amount of respect for the father for helping our Soo Jin and Yoon Bok out.I can really feel the dilemma the police are in, although not much of a dilemma for the lead investigator compared to Kyung Seok. However, seeing Chang Geun's face as Yoon Bok was telling the police not to hurt her mother just made me cry. To be honest, I was crying throughout this, anyway.

It's okay, you can cry...

"You know... when moms give birth and raise kids... they contemplate whether they should live or die a couple of times. That can be so painful for them, but they overcome moments such as that, again and again, and become true moms." Jin Hong is such an amazing person. What he said struck me and I won't forget it. To have all these caring human beings by your side despite all that's happened is truly wonderful in my book. I am with Yoon Bok and Soo Jin all the way, these two are everything to me.When Yoon Bok made Seol Ak cry it was just too powerful and heartbreaking. The staredown between Soo Jin and Seol Ak; both of them left by their biological parents but end up with different paths, they encounter each other again. Seol Ak kidnapping Yoon Bok and Soo Jin, there, to save her child.

I love you.

Love to see Gyeok Chan getting along with everyone one. I can't help but feel sad as what's about to befall Eung Cheol and Gyeok Chan as Mr. Kim drives past Soo Ho and Cheong Ya walking. Han Na's speech teared me up, especially as the students answered her as she was encouraging them! "You never give up too!"Ms. Pi's confession to Bun Ok just made me cry. I just feel bad for both of them. I understand why Bun Ok won't forgive her, but I also understand Ms. Pi's will to survive. Perhaps in a way, it's also a way for Bun Ok to survive, I hope she can find her peace even with Ms. Pi's confession. I have no words, I don't even know what to say. Eung Cheol and Gyeok Chan, you didn't have to go like that. I hope this grandpa gets what he deserves, I am hoping either Cheong Ya or Soo Ho avenges them. I keep tearing up here... As much as I'd like to dedicate this review to only Eung Cheol and Gyeok Chan, I have to say that Soo Ho is an incredible character. The power of love. I stand by what Soo Ho said to Man Dong, truly pitiful. It makes me wonder if his actions were for the sake of his country or if it was mostly self-interest. Cheong Ya's unrequited love just breaks my heart. I hoped Soo Ho would at least tell her his name, as well. Kang Mu's face as he saw Lim Soo Ho, you could just feel how relieved he was to see each other while at the same time puzzled. You can just feel the dilemma that Han Na's in. I was literally smiling as Soo Ho was looking at Young Ro in the prayer room! It all happened so fast. First there's a shootout next you have Soo Ho telling Kang Mu to get out with Young Ro. Suddenly, Friend is playing in the background and the tears come pouring down as Young Ro's trying to not let go of Soo Ho. Soo Ho calling Gang Mu his 형 is so emotional to me. I am so heartbroken. "You must live. No matter... how hard it gets." "But I never regret meeting you. Young Ro, you bloomed flowers inside me who was so cold. Thank you." "I'm leaving, but... I will... I will... I'll remember you forever. Eun Young Ro, I love you."

Soo Ho's past, Grandpa and the North.

How cool is Yoo In Na? Honestly. In that all-black attire I felt like I was watching an action hero with her running on the roofs.Bun Ok might have caused some chaos, but after this episode I just felt bad for her. To find out what truly happened to her sister must've broken her and I am sure Ms. Pi must've had a difficulty living through that.Aside from our sweet Eung Cheol, the wives bring out the comedy even if they might be a bunch of schemers. I always find myself laughing whenever Ms. Choi says "Ms. Hong."At last, that was one of the most intense endings, it was thrilling and exciting. Also, I loved that little sequence with Gyeok Chan and Eung Cheol, it felt like Gyeok Chan had finally come into terms with escaping with his fellow comrades. Mr. Kim shows us his true colors, at last. I must say, though, I was a bit hesitant towards whether or not grandpa was working for the North or not in other episodes. There's also different side to Soo Ho's family and where he's really from. From your mother abandoning you as a child to later finding out that she's alive working for the party, all the while ordering a kill on you would take an insurmountable toll on you, nonetheless if you're a North Korean spy.I'm seeing Soo Ho singing at a music café and Young Ro watching him sing in the last episode. One can hope! The goodbye between Soo Ho and Young Ro just makes you feel sympathetic towards them. Soo Ho will never forget Young Ro, despite what he says, and I am sure Young Ro knows that, which is why she hugs him.

Hopeful

I choose to remain hopeful for Young Ro and Soo Hoo even after that ending. I trust they will be together through it all, at least meet each other someday!
