The epitome of "it's fine"
This was mediocre. Not stale, but fun. Mild fun. As much as it was nice to tag along each week because of it's easy goingness, I think it'd became tiresome to marathone for the same reason. The script could've been tighter, loads left unexplored: Hoojoon's relationship with his mom, Jaejoon's and Inhyung's relationship, Suhwans overall character (seriously, why was he in the main credits) Jaejoon's interest in the YAMA ring, the ring itself, Geungyoung and the media's response. They did the bare minimum so it's.. it's fine.
I loved the main couple, how they're comfortable with each other and how they had a very communicative and mature relationship, don't see much of that with lazy romcoms. The secondary couple THOUGH. I MEAN. COME. ON. Inhyung has the personality of a rock and JJ is the spawn of satan apparently. Could not be written worst. WHYYY
I don't even know what to say about the end. The nothingness, god. And the most cliche final episode I've ever seen. It only missed a pregnancy.
Anyway, it had some subtle ups and downs and I had fun smiling silly at the main couple, raging over JJ, talking smack. I recommend this if you have somewhere to vent about it, otherwise you're not really missing anything if you give it a pass.

Heart warming in a different way
So you start watching this because of the cool scenes and to see the character's strong personalities collide, but you het pulled in by the weekly stories and them BOOM you're invested and there's no going back. This is a story about grief and how tricky it is to navigate it. The actors all did a great job with their characters balancing all the complicated and overlapping emotions they had to deal with.
But Jang Na Ra is the high point of the show TRULY! Her performance in the show was out of this world. Never felt this much sympathy for a character I have nothing in common with. Episode 12 hit hard and I felt like I was drowning right there with her. One of the best bits of television I've seen in years.
A must see for thise who like mystery and/or family themes. I'll surely miss watching this every week. Also bomb soundtrack used in all the right ways. ♡

Go Ho's Starry Night

Might be my favorite drama
Very pleasantly surprised by this series! But if you have triggers with sexual harassment, this is not for you baby.I can't say it's a 10 in regards of story because they didn't kill harasser kim, otherwise I loved it! Never before had I seen such a strong wilded and sure of herself heroine before (when it comes to romance). I hate when they get pushed around all the time thinking that sexual harassment is somehow affection or get stuck like deers in headlights when they have intimacy happen.
Go Ho is nothing like that. She tells you to go fuckyourself if she feels hurt or just straight up suckerpunches you in the face. She's not afraid to cherish people and truly seem to understand what are healthy relationships and how many different types of relationships there are.
I need also to say, if someone told me the sun is actually Young Kwang's smile and we just don't notice because he's so damn tall... I'd believe them. His smile is so bright I'm sure one day he'll blind me. Love this lightpost of a man ♡
