Unintentional Love Story

Good lead actors, but their chemistry was off
Cha Seo Won and Gong Chan (the lead couple) seem like capable actors, but their chemistry was off, like they never really clicked as a couple; they didn't feel comfortable as a gay couple. Their -- as others have called them -- dead fish kisses and robotic hugs did not help. Do Woo and Won Tae Min (the side couple) had much more electricity between them. Heck, even the hetero, couple in the last episode seemed more into each other. There are other KBL series' couples that seem so into each other (e.g., The Eighth Sense), they heat up the screen.Great OST though.
I was also bummed that they did not say the word "gay" at all (at least in the subtitles I saw).
Worth a watch? I guess, but don't expect too much zing from the lead couple.

Messy. Sexy. And heartfelt.
What I love is that the characters are mainly a bunch of slutty, messy boys but there is so much heart, too. The soundtrack is top tier. The direction and photography is spot on. And the boys ate when it came to acting, especially by Mark and Khaotung. I dearly hope there's a season 2, but I'm not holding my breath.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

The plot is mid, but the chemistry is hot
Wow, I don't know if I ever seen such genuine, passionate kissing (with tongue!)/love scenes in a bl series before... Except maybe for Only Friends. The plot is a little cliche, but overall I enjoyed watching because of FortPeat's chemistry. I wish they had also developed the lesbian plotline more, too. And there are some beautiful shots/background in the series, but of course nothing like the photography in The Eighth Sense or I Told Sunset About You.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
