My Top Drama's of 2020:

1. Unfamiliar Family - 8.6
2. Hot Stove League - 8.4 (Wow)
3. World of the Married - 8.2 (If you liked this watch Misty!! Same director and the narrative much more rich. Still this was a pleasurable watch through and through - masterful directing & cast + a plot full of suprises.)
4. When the Weather is Fine - 7.1 (Good slice of life, healing, family, love, loneliness. Sometimes too slow)
5. Backstreet Rookie - 6.7 (Main leads have chemistry, talented PD, rubbish script)
6. Dinner Mate - 6.1 (Leads have chemistry, decent but boorish direction, uninspired writing)

My Top Drama's of 2019:

1. The Crowned Clown - 8.8/10 (High quality saeguk by Money flower PD, Top tier acting)
2. Crash Landing on You - 8.2 (Addicting romcom, light fair & feel good, stellar cast & direction)
3. Chief of Staff - 7.9/10 (Kwak Jung Hwan PD, modern saeguk, good acting, a bit too nice.. wanted darker exploration)
4. Babel - 7.9/10 (Melo all the way and I loved it)
5. Hotel del Luna - 7.7/10
6. The Fiery Priest - 7.7/10
7. My Country: The New Age - 7.2/10 (Solid direction, decently-good writing. Strong cast, Woo Do Hwan blossoms here)
8. Doctor Prisoner - 7.1/10 (First two-thirds are quality thriller, then it limps towards the end. Leads are stroong.)
9. Arthdal Chronicles - 6.8/10 (Decent acting, premise bites more than it can chew, some huge mishaps in production quality)
10. Kill It - 6.7/10 (Wanted to love this but JKY wasn't able to connect in his role, writing also suffered in 2nd half. Solid watch though, I'm a sucker for stories like these & Nana was great)

My Top Drama's of 2018:

1. Life on Mars - 8.8/10 (Top tier stuff, Lee Jung Hyo easily one of the most skilled Directors in the industry with this and Heartless City)
2. Misty - 8.7/10 (Noir)
3. My Mister - 8.6
4. Memories of Alhambra - 8.2/10 (Weak start, intriguing world building, strong direction albeit on the slower side, Hyun Bin excels in this role)
5. The Smile Has Left Your Eyes - 8.1/10 (Incredibly atmospheric, Seo in Guk is masterful in his role, writing weak towards the 2nd half - very special show though)
6. Dele - 7.7/10
7. Familiar Wife - 7.7 (Feel good show, great cast, great execution, weak towards the end)
8. The Miracle We Met - 7.3/10 (Kim Myung Min is excellent)
9. What's Wrong With Secretary Kim - 6.9/10 (Romance fluff, standard but effective execution)
10. Lawless Lawyer - 6.7/10 (Strong premise - weak execution, LJG & SYJ carry this)
11. Mr. Sunshine - 6.5/10 (Dropped at episode 12, commendable effort by Kim Eun Sook but she fails to engage in world building, nice cinematography, great acting, flat execution)
12. My Husband Oh Jak Doo  - 6.3/10 (Heartfelt but flawed)
13. Clean with Passion for Now - 6.1/10 (Decent premise, decent execution)
14. Are You Human Too? - 6.1/10 (Fluffy has hell but I loved it. Dropped the ball completely at the end though. Seo Kang Joon was great in this)
15. Two Lives One Heart - 5/10 (I'd rather a show be bad then bland, and this was very bland)
