This is a boss and employee drama between a shy insecure girl and a confident take control type of guy. I’m not crazy about female leads that are weak and shy but this girl has tons of character growth. She starts out feeling inferior to the male lead which leads her to make some poor decisions. But she really becomes very strong and confident as the show progresses. I like that once he starts to like her he never waivers in his feelings for her. And he’s very protective of her. There’s not really a love triangle because the male lead never gives the second female lead a chance. He tolerates her behavior only because they grew up together and she’s like family. But the second female lead is really annoying in her behavior. There’s a little bit of everything. There’s comedy, romance, family drama, and office politics. I really liked the romance aspect of it as there’s lots of skinship and kisses. I also like that the drama doesn’t end after the male lead and female lead get together. I really prefer dramas where you get to see their lives together after they’re together.
The main drawbacks of this drama is the very annoying second female lead that goes too far. And the female lead is annoyingly timid and shy in the beginning but thankfully she gets a backbone and starts to stand up for herself as the drama progresses. But it’s a little bothersome in the beginning because you want to shake her and tell her to speak up for herself.
Overall this drama is really good and I highly recommend it for those who are looking for a sweet romance driven drama with lots of skinship and kisses. If you’re into action packed dramas with deep plots then this is not for you.
