Totally different from season 1
The season doesn’t begin where season 1 left off...it was super confusing. I’m not going to name names, so I don’t spoil anything.Somehow, they end up dating but it never mentions how they got together. The lighthearted exciting romance was gone from this season and I really couldn’t get into it. All the characters in this season had totally different personalities than season 1. I get that they’re older and more mature but it felt like the story just took a huge turn and a lot of it didn’t make sense.

Bad Adaptation and Acting
If I hadn't read the webtoon, I wouldn't have even considered watching this drama. Not familiar with the female ML and the male ML always plays the same type of roles. The story doesn't follow the webtoon at all. Not only are things in different order, but they changed a lot. For example, the secretary also went back in time and died on the same day as the MLs, but that was never mentioned. Furthermore, his dad actually died...The webtoon also doesn't mention anything about art forgeries.I liked Ji Hee (Yura) in Penthouse and in older dramas where she had child roles, but she's just not suitable for the character of Yura. The high heels don't make her look older and her character just feels forced.
I'm really not sure how this drama has such a high rating...not recommended.

Serious but no challenges
I'm glad this drama wasn't as fake/ overly exaggerated as usual Chinese romance dramas are. The acting is fine, but the story/leads don't face many hurdles. As soon as they get together, it's all up from there. I mean there was objection from the FL's dad, but it's not like he does anything about it besides disapprove of their relationship. On the other hand, the ML's dad is a mess and one day turns over a new leaf with no explanation as to why. When the accident occurs, they don't show how it happens but just the fact that it's a life-threatening injury. and I'm not sure how many days might've passed. but shortly after he has close to no injuries....They don't explain anything about the accident or his injuries. Furthermore, after they start dating again, the FL smiles every time she sees the ML and is suuuuuuuuper affectionate. I'm unsure if that's how the script wanted it or whether she chose to do so herself, but I don't think I've ever seen the FL asking for so many kisses. They did a good job of the flashbacks to the past and I felt like the last episode was pretty meaningful, but wish they would've added it into the other episodes instead of saving it for the end. I don't think I would watch this again, but it wasn't horrible.

Predictable like any other Chinese romance drama
I like that the scenes aren't overly exaggerated/fake compared to the typical Chinese romance dramas, but everything is super predictable. I haven't read the novel, so I can't say it depicted it well or not, but I felt like it was mainly focused on their relationship and not as much on billiards. Moreover, they don't have many challenges to overcome. The little difficulties that come along the way are resolved naturally or with little effort. Everything went super smoothly for the ML, and I'm still not sure how he was able to afford everything for the FL despite being a "poor student." Their chemistry and acting weren't too bad, but the main leads are basically all over each other as soon as they get together. It would've been nice if they could've explored some of the other characters' stories like Jiang Nan, Meng Xiao Dong, and Lin Lin. It just felt everything was repeating and made it super dragged out.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
So many twists it becomes a whirlwind
I knew it was going to be dramatic when I saw the trailer, but it was more intense than I thought. You really can't predict what's going to happen in the fight between the main leads. It's twist after twist and people keep changing sides, so it's not over until it's over. I can see why it's called "whirlwind." The drama keeps you on your toes in every episode. In addition, the cast did a great job of acting. Highly recommend watching this!Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

Similar to Killing Vote
I was super excited to watch this drama because of the cast and trailer, but it was different than expected. The first five minutes of the drama was completely different from the rest of the show. I had expected more action and other people to be chosen on the roulette, but it was only focused on one person. Not to mention, it felt like he couldn't be killed LOL I definitely thought he would die after two stabs to the chest, but he somehow recovered in no time. Even a stab to the neck didn't do anything to him. He honestly felt immortal. Similarly, Mr. Smile doesn't die even after getting shot, but they don't explain why. It definitely seemed like a vital injury, but he ended up recovering like nothing happened. I was also very confused by how they kept going back and forth to the past and present from different perspectives, and it felt like there were a lot of loose ends. I can't help but feel this could've been so much moreQuesta recensione ti è stata utile?
A lot like "Mine"
The storyline and plot were very similar to "Mine": the girl power, the death in the beginning, and the hidden side of the husband. Most of it was predictable, and it wasn't as good nor did it captivate me like Mine did. I definitely liked the actors/actresses in Mine more. I felt like the mother/mistress actress in both dramas looked very similar too.I wouldn't recommend starting this if you haven't already. There was no good music either. I only liked the child actors and hope to see more of them in other dramas.

Not what you'd expect
The drama doesn't focus on the school violence but rather on the love triangles among the students. A lot of things don't make sense and they didn't depict the resolution well. I still don't get why Kang Ha fell in love with Jae-i, especially why he would go to such lengths for her. The more I try to wrap my head around what happened, the less I understand the point of the drama... Sad to say what a disappointment it was after watching the trailer.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
