I've never cried so much while watching a drama. I was watching this drama and never thought that it would end in the way that it did and it really messed me up. I thought the worst was during the drama but the last episode had me sobbing. It honestly gave me chills and had me feeling empty when it was over. The cast's acting was immaculate; from the comic scenes to the sob-worthy scenes, from the main characters to the sub characters, they had me feeling every emotion. This is NOT for the weak hearted and this is coming from someone that rarely sobs during a drama.
This drama was completely unpredictable from start to finish. And that's saying a lot from someone who watched dramas for years. Everyone suspects everyone and you never know what's coming next. I loved that all of the people from the town were close friends but kinda had their secrets. There were also some pretty gruesome scenes so you should keep that in mind before you start this drama. I loved the chemistry between Dong Shik and Joo Won. The two were supposed to be enemies where Joo Won would suspect him and Dong Sik just ignored that he was being interrogated and played it off. Joo Won learns a lot, unexpectedly, from Dong Sik and how he catches criminals. To be honest, they were kinda fruity (if you know what I mean) like Joo Won literally has mommy and daddy issues. That's a story for next time though. Also, I gave this drama a 7/10 for rewatch value because it wouldn't be the same to watch this when you know what's going to happen. Have fun bitches <3
Get ready to sob. I cried in pretty much every episode while watching this drama. I felt so bad for Geu Roo in the beginning but I was glad that he had people that loved him and helped him with his loss, even if the help might've been an ass in the beginning. His uncle, Sang Koo, was very immature and was only taking care of him for the benefits but he learned a lot while working with Geu Roo and started to understand what the family business was about. Each client that they had revealed another sob story that really gets you thinking about life. This was such a good drama but it would honestly be too painful to rewatch too often so I gave it a rewatch value of 8/10. I'd probably rewatch this when I need a good cry but I couldn't see myself rewatching this often.
When I tell you this drama is what the word "healing" means, I am not exaggerating. It's a slice-of-life drama with a group of doctors that have been friends since college. This drama made me feel all emotions and pretty much made me cry every episode. It tells stories of a lot of patients that each doctor gets and they're all so emotional and make you think a lot about moral values. This drama even got the comedic aspect perfect. The characters, main and sub, all have hilarious moments throughout the episodes. And don't even get me started on the band scenes. Watching the band scenes makes me feel pure happiness and my mouth gets dry because of the smile on my face. I still listen to the OSTs and I would totally rewatch it until I die.
As someone who read the webtoon, I was slightly disappointed since the trailer came out. You know those rom-coms that are kinda bad but you still watch them because they're entertaining? This drama was kinda like that except it wasn't all that entertaining. I pretty much finished this drama just so I could've finished another drama. The acting was disappointing with both leads, definitely no hate to Hyeri and Jang Ki Yong. I've watched their other dramas and I know how great they are at their jobs but this one didn't quite do it for me. To be completely honest, I liked the sub couple a lot more than the main.
Honestly I was skeptical at first because both of the leads seemed to be pretty rude and it wasn't really on that cute bickering level. She's really judgmental and is classist while he was just completely rude to someone he'd just met. Even with these qualities, the drama had me really curious about what was going to happen next. It includes a lot of cliches but cliches never fail so it's not a problem. I hope that the two can grow into better people throughout the rest of the drama. And of course the OSTs so far are catchy as hell.
